Fantastic experience: Very kind staff and owner! The inside is very nicely renovated and you get to watch tv while having your teeth cleaned. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Wow! I was soooo nervous to see a new dentist after 6 years of traveling, and knew I would need a couple of old fillings replaced. The team at Mooselake were so genuinely friendly and kind, from the front desk all the way to the dentist herself, that I was immediately calmed. Dr. Chow was so lovely and gentle, explained everything to me as she went, and did a superb job with the new (and challenging!) fillings. No pain, no soreness afterwards, and my teeth feel so much better. I think I will actually book to go back for regular maintenance instead of dreading and procrastinating until something becomes urgent. So relieved and happy with this group!

Fantastic experience: I came to them about a year ago while experiencing an emergency tooth infection while I was about 11 weeks pregnant. No other clinic I called in Guelph would help me (weird flex to want a pregnant woman to go septic from an infection, but okay?). I understand its tricky when pregnancy is apparent, but something needed to be done. The relief they gave me by taking me in and treating the issue was so needed and I was so grateful to be seen. The entire staff is positive to interact with and Dr. Rudik himself is very gentle and patient. I have a hard time with needles and always have a million questions when I go in, but he makes it a smooth experience, and doesn't make me feel annoying or like a problem. The whole cabin vibe is really unique, as I too spent a lot of my time up north and near Algonquin park as a kid, so it has a special place in my heart. Another bonus is that they're only 850m from where I live, so it's pretty easy to get to! Id definitely recommend this clinic to anyone living in Guelph! They take the government funded insurance and have a "gum health" package that includes a lot of good basic care (cleanings, a filling, etc) for a reduced price.

All the staff are very friendly, organized, and attentive—the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, which is especially important when undergoing dental treatment. I would like to give a special mention to Dr. Osama Qureshi—he is a superb specialist and a true professional in his field. His knowledge, precision, confidence, and approach to his work inspire complete confidence. The doctor explains each stage of treatment in detail, answers all questions, and does everything as carefully and comfortably as possible. You can feel his vast experience, high level of skill, and sincere desire to help the patient achieve the best result. I am more than satisfied with the result — the work was done perfectly. I can definitely recommend Moose Lake Dental and Dr. Osama Qureshi to anyone looking for a top-notch dentist. This is a case where quality, professionalism, and a human touch come together 100%.

Fantastic experience: I've only been going to Moose Lake Dental for a short time, but even in that short span of time everyone on staff here have made me feel like they genuinely care. The quality of service is great, the atmosphere is friendly and warm and it's such a breath of fresh air after dealing with colder, more abrasive dentists in the past. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Growing up I had a dentist who absolutely should not have been working with children, gaslit me about my highly sensitive teeth and shut down my complaints of pain during procedures. Naturally, I now struggle with a severe phobia of medical procedures. Moose Lake was recommended to me as a good dentist for people who hated dentists, and I couldn't agree more! Dr Rudrik believes in preventive measures vs reactive treatments to stop problems before they get so bad as to be a huge traumatic event to deal with; and I must say being able to put soothing ocean documentaries on the ceiling-mounted TV in every exam room is an amazing way to keep my anxiety down in the chair.

They handled the situation quickly, kindly, and with true expertise, and we felt like we were in the most capable hands possible. A special shout-out to Kim, who guided us through exactly what to do from home when the incident occurred and made everything feel manageable during a stressful moment, and to Alisha, whose calm reassurance and support helped our son (and us!) stay at ease. Dr. Rudik was outstanding as always, reassuring, patient, and incredibly thorough. He took the time to explain everything clearly, giving us all the information and details we needed to feel confident and comforted in the plan ahead. From start to finish, the entire team was caring, professional, and compassionate. Negative experience: I was a patient for a few years and recently left. Dr. Rudik is friendly, but he recommended SIX fillings all at once to "maximize my plan". A family member of mine is a retired dentist and said that Dr. Rudik was wrong. Because my family member is retired, I saw a new dentist in Guelph who said the same thing: I needed ZERO fillings, not six. It's not about cost - it's about trust. And I no longer trust Dr. Rudik's opinion after two dentists disagreed with his aggressive and unnecessary treatment plan. Dr. Rudik "co-diagnoses" cavities by using photos and asking the patients what they think. First, you can't diagnose cavities from photos - stains are not always cavities. Second, I as a patient should have no input on diagnosis as I am not a dentist. This is why I see a dentist. 2/5 stars because his staff are fantastic and the office environment is clean. Edit: 3 years later, still no need for fillings.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rudik is an incredible dentist who on Day 1 fixed a problem I've had for years. Due to a gap between two molars, food (especially meat) always got stuck. No other dentist has said, "Let's fix that." But Dr. Rudik fixed it and now, every time I'm having dinner and notice that I don't instantly need to reach for the dental floss, I quietly thank Dr. Rudik. It's made a lot of difference. Providing top-notch dental care is clearly a passion for Dr. Rudik and his team. I 1,000% recommend Moose Dental!

Fantastic experience: First time going to Moose Lake dental. I can't say enough. Kim and the rest of the staff were wonderful and the dentist was exceptional. I felt so welcome and just so comfortable. Absolutely amazing. Have just had my second appt. I am so impressed with the office. Fantastic experience: Every visit has been a wonderful experience.Moose knows his trade very well.Warm friendly atmosphere, great staff. I felt like a royal! Just had 4 titanium implants put in then the remaining 8 teeth yanked out to be gone from my body forever. There were issues due to bone loss over the years but Dr Moose managed to get er done. Four to five months from now the implants will be uncovered and the lower denture will be fitted with the insert sockets at Guelph Denture Clinic. Can’t wait to be able to chew properly again.YAY!!!! 2023 Implants now unveiled, and heeled nicely. Slowly able to chew properly once again and that feels great.July 2023.Inserts now set permanently in lower denture and fillin fine.Look out corn on the cob here I come! October 10th- Implants cleaned (every 4 months)and all is well.Feb.9th/24. Inserts cleaned and gums are in wonderful shape!! Very important! Remove dentures nightly and with a soft brush clean your gums and around your implants.

Fantastic experience: I became a patient about 8 months ago and love this dental clinic! Staff are great and everyone takes the time to explain everything in layman’s terms so you understand. Never thought my kids would be so excited to go to the dentist! If you are looking for a family-oriented, honest and fair dental clinic this is your place. Oh, and they have TVs in the patient room ceilings which is awesome!

Fantastic experience: I went in today for a new patient check up and cleaning, and this was hands down the best experience at a dental clinic I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by Kim, until I left, everyone was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They really don’t cut any corners when it comes to ensuring a top notch patient experience. Alicia did an excellent job with my cleaning and was very gentle (my last cleaning at another dentist was painful and left me sore for 2 days). Dr. Cao was super knowledgeable, spent time explaining everything in detail, and the assistant and another receptionist (I can’t remember their name) were super friendly and knowledgeable too. Not once did I feel pressured into anything or any of the other “negative” experience one might encounter at a dental clinic. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: Just had my first cleaning with Moose Lake and they are awesome! The facility is modern and clean, and the staff are friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Also…you can watch Netflix during your appointment lol! Update: Second cleaning was also fantastic! This time I had a check up with Dr. Qureshi :) He’s so great! It was a very thorough check up and I learned a lot! I still have my wisdom teeth it because I’m a big baby and Dr. Qureshi was soooo patient and informative while he discussed my options for either continued cleaning or extraction. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Been a patient at moose lake dental for around a year now. My experience has been fantastic so far it’s a great place for more than just your typical dental needs as they have different technology like laser treatment, 3d scanners and 3d X-rays. Especially being a student with an unpredicatable schedule I’ve never had trouble getting in right away.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental team i have ever met. Dr. Rudik took such good care of me and was so skilled at removing a tooth (emergency situation) for me that I have started taking care of my teeth again and am now going regularly. I have since had a tooth rebuilt, 2 cleanings, and a very deep cavity I was terrified to have filled. Not only did Dr Rudik take care of my unique pain numbing requirements but he was not satisfied until the teeth he was working on were perfect. It's not just Dr Rudik it is everyone that works there that i adore. Unfortunately i was born with a very low pain tolerance so every little thing is very hard for me to endure. This is the first time in my life that I look forward to going to the dentist. The humor, the kindness, the patience, I can't say enough ..for little kids to full grown almost 60 year old's like me they will take care of you with warmth and exceptional treatment.

Negative experience: I had a very negative experience with this dental office. I received two fillings that were poorly done and later deemed faulty by another dentist. My concerns about the resulting bite issues and discomfort were ignored, and my follow-up emails went unanswered. My specialist appointment was a referral from Moose Lake Dental that I "absolutely needed" that was 3 minutes long and cost me $285. It was paid, unwilling absolutely but it was paid. Saying I forgot my wallet as a way to not pay is crazy - I paid on e-trans immediately after they say no to my american express haha. Billing practices were unclear, and a payment plan was suddenly canceled, leaving me with unexpected charges. Attempts to discuss and resolve the issue were met with hostility instead of professionalism. Even shown here making weird jokes, waiting for a review thinking I wouldn't just write one myself? I offered $600 instead of the $900 I was apparently billed. $300+ of which were late fees when we had been in direct conversation. So wild to think other pissed off customers are just people in disguise. This office seems to prioritize profit over patient care. I would not recommend it, especially to those who don't have benefits or are on ODSP because this office will rinse you. Please have a look through other reviews, and then laugh at the comments and remarks he makes. 100% deflection, and 0% accountability.

The office and equipment are high-tech, and in spite of that, it has a very comfortable, homey feeling. The staff and Doctors are oustanding and extremely friendly. Fantastic experience: Spectacular job with implants From the beginning he made me feel secure, and he also demonstrated to me that he is a very detail-oriented person. He is also well versed in the latest technology with respect to dental implants. The practice is well equipped with the latest technology and he doesn't skimp out on using it to the benefit of his patients. The process was long, but without any complications, the staff were extremely friendly and were always responsive in helping me and helping with booking future appointments. Dr. Rudik did a spectacular job with my teeth, both in matching the colour and placement of the teeth, and I am extremely impressed. At no point throughout the process did I feel pain for extended periods of time -- Dr Rudik made sure to use the appropriate amount of anaesthesia and also made sure to prevent any kind of infection from forming. From a young age, I have always had a fear of going to the dentist. With Dr. Rudik, that has changed

Negative experience: Firstly I'm not a person to leave a negative review, but this has been the worst experience with a dental office and would like to provide some insight to anyone new to Guelph and with a baby/toddler. After months of considering a new dentist after the birth of our daughter and moving to Guelph. We ended up choosing moose lake dental because of the positive reviews and friendly atmosphere it promoted. We were wrong with our assumptions and would definitely warn people to steer away from moose lake dental if you have any children and accidentally arrive late because of difficulties getting your child to leave on time. Me and my wife were scheduled for back to back cleanings, I went first and was told during the cleaning that an additional cleaning may be required. I was okay with that, but after the cleaning was finished I was not provided the full service that I came in for which was scaling and a polish. They later mention it is because I was late. I've never in my life had this type of treatment because of being a bit late. Then my wife goes into the room and gets a full dental cleaning service completed, scaling and polish and polishing only taking 2-3 mins, confirmed by my wife. On top of it all, we weren't provided the bag of goodies that all other dentists give you after every cleaning visit, with a toothbrush and dental floss, sometimes a promotional item. Secondly, leading up to the appointment we were in contact through email letting us know how our visit will be because of the anxieties we had bringing our little girl. They ensured us they wanted our baby girl to come to the visit to be introduced and familiarized with all the dental tools and the whole environment. As new patients we expected to have a meeting with Radovan and introduce himself to us because we were new patients. I could see him in his office standing and wasn't busy with any patients during our 2 hour visit. As much as I'd like to think we were just unlucky with our experience. I highly suggest that this dental office not overbook and allow for time to introduce themselves to new patients especially when the receptionist was reassuring us and recommended we do back to back appointments so our baby gets familiar. With all this being said, be prepared to be overcharged the recommended maximums from your benefit company. They will tell you your benefit is using last year's rates. They are not accommodating and will try to squeeze as much money and enforce you to come for additional appointments to complete a 3min procedure of polishing. Originally upon checkout they wanted to charge for the polishing, but we had to let the receptionist know that the hygienist did not finish and didn't complete all work stated. Just keep in mind when reviewing any paperwork to ensure everything they did was in fact what they did. Lastly, they promote a certain lifestyle of drinking and gambling. They provide non alcoholic beverages(Heineken and Waterloo Radler) in the waiting room and have a wheel of fortune slot machine in the kids play closet. Overall summary, Choose a family friendly dentist and look for recommendations from other parents in Guelph from mom groups or any other parent meetups. If you absolutely want to give moose lake dental a try. Just remember to not show up late at all or you risk not receiving the full outlined service, and do not double book appointments under the assumption your little ones would be welcomed and provided a fun safe environment to play.

Fantastic experience: Here’s my review after my first visit: Awesome! Had a great time, which is certainly not something you might normally think when visiting the dentist. They took time to show me how things worked, what they were going to do, what they were doing. After the dentist looked around my mouth, we spent a good deal of time discussing things. I’m so used to a dentist visit being a minute at most with the dentist, this was just so nice. Had an actual conversation. I feel well informed and just over all comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Ive been for 2 visits, thus far this has been a great experience and it feels different from other Dentists I've been to. Calm vibes, work with you on insurance and payments compared to what's needed. Everyone's been very nice and super thorough. Great experience so far. Cottage atmosphere is a nice touch.

Fantastic experience: my first time with a dentist in guelph and moose lake was so lovely! I have adhd, autism and severe anxiety and struggle a lot with dentists, but everyone from the receptionist to the dentist to the assistant was incredibly kind and accommodating. brought my headphones, sunglasses, stim toy and plushie, and I was offered a weighted blanket to be extra comfortable. if you're someone who needs lots of accommodations to get procedures done, the moose lake staff will make sure you're decked out and not feel embarrassed. they also did a seamless job on my filling for a chipped tooth.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Moose Lake Dental is extremely kind and patient. I have been having issues with a tooth, Dr.Rudik and Victoria have made it their mission to get to the bottom of it, trying several strategies including using a laser and fluoride to help with my really bad sensitivity . Both of them are so attentive and Dr.Rudik in particular is very thorough. I can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients and their well being.

Fantastic experience: I have always been happy with the hygiene and check up appointments I have had at Moose Lake Dental, and even happier with the care my daughter received having her first cavities filled. She was extremely nervous prior to her appointment, and she left the appointment feeling happy and confident. I appreciated staff taking the time to get her situated with her favourite Netflix show, for Victoria setting her up to be comfortable in the chair, and to Dr. Rudik for explaining the whole process thoroughly and in a way she understood. I am thankful that she is actually looking forward to her next appointment for a cleaning!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment at Moose Lake Dental a couple of weeks ago. The dentist (Dr Cao) was incredibly thorough going through my x-rays (done by the assistant Victoria - very gentle and quick with the x-rays) and my treatment plan, and was patient when explaining it all to me. Very kind and knowledgeable staff! Cannot recommend this office enough.

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of dental anxiety after negative experiences as a kid/teen, so it had been almost ten years since I'd been to the dentist before going to Moose Lake Dental for a couple issues that had been bothering me. Firstly, I have never had such a gentle cleaning done before in my life (thank you Maya) - I kept waiting for the painful part to start and it never did. I had a detailed and positive conversation with the dentist (Dr Qureshi), discussing the recommended treatment options and risks of not doing said treatments, while acknowledging that my anxiety may be a barrier and trying to find ways to make it easier. I wasn't judged for not flossing (that's a first) and no one was condescending regarding how nervous I was, which feels a lot more embarrassing as an adult. The entire appointment went 1000x better than I thought it would and I'm hoping for more positive experiences in the future.

Fantastic experience: Had an abscess in my tooth and googled emergency dental services. Led me to Moose Lake Dental. I called and they got me in within 3 hours. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. On arrival I was given a tour of the space and I loved the vibe, which showed so much care and attention, Like going to a cottage retreat. Waiting area had beverages, games for kids, so well thought out! I’m closer to 70 then 60 and have experienced many dentists over the years. This by far, is the best dental experience I have ever had. Thorough explanations, conscientious of patient concerns, very up-to-date technology. And I was so impressed with an offered fee structure for folks that don’t have dental insurance. So much thought has gone into the development of this clinic. As much tooth pain as I was in, I was taken care of with such caring I left totally enamoured with my experience. The Dentist and staff present such a wonderful environment and expertise that made my visit the best ever for dental care. Thank you all for your work and care.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The clinic itself was spotless, reflecting a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Dr. Cao and Dr. Tomic took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explain my treatment options. The procedures I underwent were done with precision, resulting in excellent outcomes. Alisha (Hygienist) was very gentle throughout my cleaning and also educated me about taking care of my teeth well. Overall, I can't recommend this dental clinic enough. They communicate really well with you about your options and what you’re actually covered for under the insurance. I really appreciated that because my coverage isn’t great so they let me choose what I wanted to use it for. The staff are really friendly and the doctor was knowledgeable and helpful. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Mooselake for the past few years and am always happy with their services! Specifically, last summer I had horrible mouth pain and they got me in for an emergency appointment that same day. It turns out I needed a root canal so was referred to a specialist and returned to dr Rudik and his team for my crown. I only had the temporary crown for about a week until my permanent one came in! It was fitted perfectly and has been snug in my mouth ever since! The team was so great at explaining every step of the process (including all of the costs) and made such a potentially scary experience feel much more bearable! (honestly, the whole thing wasn’t nearly as bad as I had feared!). Thanks to the whole Mooselake Dental team (admin, hygienists, and dentists - all of you!) for being so awesome!

The office is clean, the environment is so welcoming and most importantly, every staff member is kind, knowledgeable and they never forget to greet you in the hallway or waiting area. As the patient, it made me feel more empowered and that I have the knowledge to make an informed decision regarding my care I also had a pleasant experience with Alicia, who did my teeth cleaning. Fantastic experience: We decided to take our 1 year old to Moose Lake Dental after reading other reviews online and we are so happy with our decision! Dr. Rudik is wonderful with our son. He is a great dentist, but also super cool to chat with during your visit. The staff are kind and customer service focused. The office/"camp" is wonderfully designed. It feels like you've been transported to a little cabin in Algonquin when you enter the waiting room. Clean, spacious and colourful. I have never been to a dentist where you can play arcade games and watch youtube while you wait. I can see kids (and adults alike) not wanting to leave post-visit. Their billing process is also very convenient and straightforward, even when dealing with coordination of multiple insurance plans. My husband and I both plan to transfer to Moose Lake Dental based on our experience with our son. I would highly recommend Moose Lake and Dr. Rudik to other families!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently switched to Moose Lake Dental after moving to the area and we have had an amazing experience. The staff are so friendly and really take the time to explain everything to you. Ive also never had a dentist spend more time than 5 mins in the room with me when I go for a cleaning, but Dr. Rudnik really took his time and wasn’t making me feel rushed. We are so happy we found this gem of a place and will spread the word how happy we are with the service. The cabin theme is very cozy and makes the trip to the dentist more enjoyable :)

Fantastic experience: Dr.Tomic, Dr.Rudik, Alisha & Staff really go above and beyond with your care. To begin with all registration forms are sent via email and filled out before your appt so I found that to be very efficient. The office has a very comforting ambience as if you've walked into a Lake House. Their waiting room has a wonderful drink and snack area along with comfortable seating. There is an area perfect for children of all ages. For them to read, play arcade games, watch TV and computers. My children absolutely adore the place. They made my family and I feel very comfortable and were extremely gentle. They were exceptional with educating my children about their teeth and the process along the way. Andrea the receptionist did a wonderful job explaining our insurance benefits aswell. This is by far our favourite dental experience and we highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: After years of poor experiences with other dentists, I honestly cannot recommend Moose Lake enough. Everything about the experience, from start to end, was extremely positive. Dr. Rudik was very personable and in no way pushy about treatment options. I greatly appreciated that he was frank about what was and was not necessary treatment-wise, with no exaggeration or pushing for expensive and possibly unecessary treatments. My hygienist Fatimah was very thorough and personable and made sure I was comfortable throughout cleaning. It had been a little while since my last cleaning but she made it as painless as possible. I have also never had the dentist and his team go through insurance/benefits the way that Dr. Rudik and his team did, which really helped demistify and simplify the entire process of ensuring I was covered for my treatment plan. Certainly the best dentist experience I have had, and I would happily recommend Moose Lake to anyone seeking a dentistry team.

He answered all my many questions and concerns in a respectful manner. Fatima, the dental hygienist, was also very thorough in cleaning my teeth and just a very caring person. Same with whomever I encountered in the office. I never felt rushed and always felt listened to.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for over a year now and found this office through Google reviews. I couldn't believe the high rating for a dental office and had to check it out for myself. They collect a lot of information online prior to your appointment and you check in on a tablet which is super time efficient. During your appointment you can watch TV on the ceiling and they offer a menu of comfort items. It is typically cooler but they have slippers in the winter so you don't track your muddy shoes in and a weighted blanket! Alisha is the most gentle hygienist I've ever had and she's super sweet. Dr Rudik listens to the dental work you wish to have done and provides his own recommendations over the short and long term. I had my fillings done and wire replaced by Dr Tomic and she didn't quit until it felt perfect! They're also so considerate of your insurance coverage. I have nothing but great things to say from reception all the way through to payment! They set a new high standard for dental practices.

We originally changed dental facilities due to my son (now age 7) who was slowly becoming more terrified of our dentist at the time (cavity fillings falling out, each session taking longer than 1 hour etc).
