Fantastic experience: Came here a few years ago to deal with a gum pain issue, and back recently for a root canal. I have severe dental anxiety. When I started the appointment I was almost in tears from how scared I was, but the endodontist worked quickly and explained the procedure to me beforehand. They have nitrous as an option, and it really helped. Now I feel confident about coming back to finish the rest of my dental work. Thank you!

The assistant was very aggressive with the suction but it was better than me chocking, good job. O ya, no during or after pain. He was right on target with the freeing. Thanks again.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and I never forget an appointment because they have a fantastic appointment reminder system. The atmosphere of the office is very positive and you can really tell the staff love working there! But most importantly, when I was having some confusion with my insurance company, the office manager, Joanne spent a lot of time helping me work through my confusion with the insurance company step-by-step. I would have been lost without her! Five stars just isn’t enough!

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist Kylie (not sure if spelled correctly) is such a lovely person, kind, and super friendly, and she has the most gentle touch. Unlike some others, she doesnt dig into the gums and cause discomfort. Can barely feel the cleaning instruments on your teeth. The dentist was very friendly and very informative. Took the time to explain the xrays and results of his exam.

Negative experience: I have never seen in my life a ruder, more despicable, arrogant, arrogant, and cruel person than the receptionist who answered the phone! I called to ask whether they accept dental emergencies or not. I gave her my full name and phone number and explained that the problem was in my mouth, that I could not speak properly, and that I was in severe pain. She started interrogating me with around twenty questions — trivial and pointless questions — questions that no one has ever been asked over the phone! I kept begging her to take the information from me when I arrived at the clinic because I was in severe pain and could barely speak. Despite all of this, she showed no care, no concern, no empathy, and no basic humanity or compassion. She said, “Noooo, you must answer all these questions now, otherwise you will not see the doctor!” Would she have died, or lost anything, if she had postponed the twenty questions until I arrived?!

Makayla is an amazing hygienist and always keeps me informed of what she is going to do and what she finds. I was able to confide in her about some issues with another dentist I visit 2x a year and together we came up with a workable alternative. Ladies at the front desk were able to confirm for me on the spot that my insurance would cover these visits. I am so thankful I switched to Solar Dental. What a wonderful group of professionals who make each visit as easy as possible, and always a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I was grateful that when my teeth were being cleaned, I coughed a lot and this is due to anxiety. She just let me cough and get adjusted again. Soon my anxiety lessened, and all was well!

Fantastic experience: Found Solar Dental on Google after hours. I pushed an appointment request through their website and also called and left a voicemail, all on behalf of my wife who experienced a sudden toothache in a top molar. I called the following morning right at opening and spoke with Selina, whose phone skills and demeanor were fabulous. An appointment was secured for same day at noon, but she was unsure if treatment could be done right away. A few moments after that call Selina phoned us back and asked if we could come in right away. We sure could! Someone had canceled. The office is spotless and welcoming. We had already filled out the forms online so my wife was taken in for the appointment straight away. Thankfully, the treatment was a simple extraction which was done immediately. We can't thank Selina and Solar Dental enough. Emergency treatment right away, reasonably priced as well. A wonderful experience all things considered. Do not hesitate to call Solar. They are fabulous.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is friendly and professional. The best dental office I’ve ever been with and I’ve been with them for around 15 plus years.

Negative experience: I feel as though the dentist rushed my extraction and butchered my jaw. I was crying throughout the entire process, he did not stop to give me a break or ask what I needed to continue. He just applied more pressure to get the tooth removed. I did not feel like a patient or even a human being. I am traumatized from the experience - as a nurse myself, patients have the right to comfort, and compassion even during invasive treatments. I do not believe he followed the standard of care for my treatment and once he got my signature on the consent form felt liberated to butcher my mouth to finish the job asap… I intend to follow up with the practice board/ regulating body about this. Even with a consent form signed there is a standard level of care that needs to be adhered to and outcome/ injury level based on procedure needs to reasonable, which mine was not.

Fantastic experience: We've been with this organization (Fairway Mall days where they started) for over 30 years. I've rarely, if ever, had any issues with any of the staff, and have always found them professional, courteous and caring. If you aren't happy with a cleaning or dental work, they've always tried to accommodate and fix the problem. Very much recommend them.

Fantastic experience: There was some confusion regarding a billing issue. Following a visit to the office, the matter was reviewed and resolved between Dr. Neal, Enida and my husband. We were able to clear all the confusion from both sides and we were satisfied with the outcome. Good service.

Negative experience: I’d been coming to see Dr. Neal (Harneal Baweja) since August 2023 on the reference of a friend. I’ve got 10 teeth worked on. 1 root canal, 1 wisdom tooth extraction, 3 crowns and multiple fillings. Trust me when I say coming here has been a nightmare. The work is done in a hurried and negligent way, almost always needing to be fixed again and again, and occasionally damaging other nearby teeth. My concerns aren’t heard and are dismissed, often leading to those concerns getting worse. I’ve even had the wrong tooth worked on due to poor communication, which to his credit, he rectified free of charge but still…. One of the the crowns was poorly fitted and I kept telling him that I’m getting a weird smell when I hit it with the water floss pick ause of stuff seeping under the crowns but my concerns were dismissed only for the “permanent” crown to fall off mid meal. When the crowns were being put in I was told by him that the crowns were on lifetime warranty but when there’s undeniable issues with them he’s reluctant to fix the issues and ultimately left me abandoned. There’s a while slew of other issues that I’ve had with teeth that he worked on but listing all of them would be a short novel in and of itself. Overall I’m just extremely frustrated and fatigued with the quality of service and issues that arise as a result of the work done and can’t in good faith recommend this place to anyone else. Even routine cleanings are a waste of money and I was picking that mornings breakfast out of my teeth after the $140 cleaning. The receptionist and supporting staff are a mixed bag (the dental assistants are often really nice though), and the one who was my main point of contact named Enida often left my email inquiries unanswered, and lack of communication often led to my concerns being left unaddressed or miscommunicated to dr. Harneal. Even now, I asked to have a complete copy of my dental records 2 months ago in order to move on and find a new dentist and catch them up on the work I had done but they refuse to give me my dental records which I’m entitled to by law (probably cause it would prove as evidence of negligence or other shady dealings on their part). Long story short I seriously regret ever having gone there to get dental work done and for the love of god if you care about your teeth, please STAY AWAY from Solar dental. The picture attached is the last filling done there that was chipped from biting into food 2 days after getting the tooth filled. The one next to it which is cracked at the bottom was also done by him. By far the worst filling jobs I’ve got from the 3 different dentists I’ve been to in my life

Fantastic experience: Solar Dental has been my Dentist before its named changed to Solar Dental and was in fair way mall over 15 years ago! Ive never ever had a bad experience there! The staff is always very kind and friendly, all the desits and hygienist always do an amazing job and take their time to do things right! 10/10 Recently had my wisdom teeth pulled and my dentist did such an amazing job at keeping me calm, stopping as soon as their was pain and reajusted his approach! The next day i literally had no pain because of how amazingly he did at removing my wisdom teeth!!
