Positive experience: Very positive experience as to Dentist and assistant. Where the stars are lost is two x-rays needed repeating because of computer malfunction.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 2:10 with 'Dr. Laura'. I arrived att 1:45, was greeted and told I was checked in. I sat in the waiting room and watched the olympics on my phone. There are 2 tvs, which are off, no magazines, or water. Not very 'welcoming'. Other patients arrived and were taken away. The olympic hockey period was ending and I checked the time: 2:25. I got up and left. At 2:55 I got a call asking if I had left, 'yes I had'. 'Are you coming back?' 'Nope' . So half an hour after i left, you realized i was gone, wow! Then explained that from a customer point of view, this is horrible customer service. I arrived on time, you left me sitting with no update for 15 mins after my start time. Customer service is an exchange: i give my time and money, and I get service. You didn't give me any service, so I stopped letting you steal my time. Figure your stuff out. If I had missed my appointment, you would have billed me. Where is the respect for my time and money?

Fantastic experience: My recent appointment for a dental cleaning with Odetta went very well. Her politeness, readiness to answer questions, and professional conduct made me feel well at ease. She applied different cleaning techniques as needed with striking, refreshing results. Odetta also took the time to point out some areas which needed better brushing. Dr Sun completed the appointment with a thorough examination of my teeth which was supplemented with x-rays taken by Odetta.

I have been coming to Laurentian Dental since I was younger and have always seen Paul my hygienist, he is thorough, kind, fun to talk with and does a great job. Recently had a filling done by Dr. Kayan and he was absolutely amazing as well! He talked me through the whole process, made sure I knew every step he was doing, made sure to check in to make sure I was ok multiple times and made the whole process very comfortable. They keep the patient's in the know here, and make sure you understand everything! And the reception team at the front desk are always kind and welcoming when checking in and booking future appointments. If I could give more stars I would!!

Negative experience: Disappointed with last appointment. Needle was painful, told that he grazed a nerve. After this occurred he asked if someone could observe, I felt I had to say yes even though I am a nervous patient. Luckily the person had gone. Hit my lip with an instrument during the filling and never had so many readjustments for a filling. I was very stressed by the end of the appointment and just wanted to leave.

Negative experience: Had to leave they took so long. Waited almost an hour after my appointment time.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about my recent visit with Dr. Kayan Madhi. He was unbelievable. I am not a great patient as I am always an over-the-top nervous wreck. But my visit was virtually pain free, and I felt so comfortable and safe. The staff were so friendly and I think they knew I was anxious. They went out of their way to help me calm down while still being professional. I would highly recommend Laurentian Dental Centre

Positive experience: Quick and pleasant service by all. However they wanted to charge for reviewing the same information we had discussed previously. Not too ethical on my perspective.

Fantastic experience: Laurentian Dental provides excellent services for all your dental needs. I’ve been going to this place when it was located at Fairview Park Mall many moons ago when it was owned and operated by Dr. Sun and Dr. Hallam. Even though different management and staff are currently managing this place, the service and friendly atmosphere haven’t changed. I can honestly say that Dr. Sun and Paul provides exceptional service along with the others (unfortunately I don’t know all their names) and continue to do so. They are accommodating and will work with you to ensure you get the best appointment possible. The place also deals directly with certain Insurance companies that will save you time submitting your claims. I have recommended this place to a few of my friends and fellow workers and all were satisfied with their services.

Fantastic experience: I suppose the most suitable adjective I would use to describe my most recent experience at Laurentian Dental is “comfortable”. The waiting room setting is roomy and comfortable. The girls at the checkin/checkout station are friendly and efficient. My hygienist always greets me with a smile (I hope ) behind her mask and strives to make me feel comfortable as we share the latest news of how things are going. THAT aside, she always gives me a soft pillow for my head to rest on…. hehe. But seriously, seeing the hygienist is equally as important has seeing your actual dentist. I mean, the hygienist takes the time to not only clean your teeth of plaque but to closely inspect whether she sees changes since the last time I was there and gives me feedback, which I appreciate. I also give her input to her feedback. After all, the hygienist, the dentist and myself work best if we work as a team. Lastly, I leave the hygienist feeling a little bit smarter about my teeth than I did when I walked in. So if THIS is the type of experience you are looking for, I will say no more. Have a great day!

Negative experience: My child and husband both had filing and root canal done there with Dr Nermin Piragic and both lead to infections and extractions. Terrible service

Positive experience: Love the dentists here they are so gentle and the assistants are great , as a person will high dental anxiety the staff there make me as comfortable being there can be The only reason I’m deducting a star is because I wish they would discuss costs with you before they work on you . I went in for one maybe 2 things and they did 6 things without checking my insurance to see if it would be covered like usual or not .. went in thinking I was going to maybe end up paying $100 but end up paying $627 ( witch I know isn’t horrible they do great work ) it’s just a lot of people these days don’t just have a ton of spare cash sitting around , knowing the costs before you start getting worked on u can decide what you can afford that day and when you can afford to rebook the next appointment

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sun has been my dentist for a number of years. He always offers options and provides advice when asked. I have had a lot of dental work done and have always been happy with the results. I think he is a great dentist and find all office staff friendly and helpful

Fantastic experience: Dr. Natley is amazing, so is Alejandra. We've been a few times for some cavity fillings and they are absolutely fantastic with children. My daughter had a great experience; first visit she was nervous but she was made to feel safe, everything was explained to her in an age appropriate way and she (as well as I) were reassured along the way. Subsequent visits were the same. From front desk, to dentists, hygienists and assistants, we were treated with respect and transparency. 10/10

Negative experience: Not the top of class services. Do several mistakes in scheduling Xrays without coordinating insurance policy terms resulting penalty for customers. Hygiene services can be better.

There are not too many practitioners that offer a quick turn around like that. I had the best care possible and left my appointment ( after not great news ) feeling confident of my next course of action. Dr. Piragic and the staff at Laurentian are caring and top notch! Highly recommend !

I had my braces done by Dr. Sun, along with two wires placed, and both experiences were great! My family has been going to this dentist since the early 2000s. Over time, I have noticed many changes and sometimes worry about the future of the dental clinic, but I understand that these shifts are necessary. Paul has been cleaning my teeth and is always helpful in guiding me on the next steps to maintain healthy teeth and gums. Overall, the dental clinic has been great, and I will continue to have my dental care here!

Fantastic experience: Done my initial, been back for some cleanings and I still had the best experience. They’re very good here. Patient, empathetic and funny. They’ve continued to work with my unusual schedule and everything’s been great. I honestly cannot see how anyone can have problems with them. Just let them know you can’t be there before 24 hours. Pretty simple really. And they’re very appreciative. Another 5 star from me. And I’m an honest, critical reviewer.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place full of lovely people I recently got up filling done with no insurance and it was around $500. I think that's the most I've ever spent on a filling... However, they got me in very quickly and the service was lovely.

It has been hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. I usually have the Dental Hygenist Paul Santos DDS take care of me, and he is the most experience Hygenist. We have formed a great relationship over the years. My Wife and Daughter are also patients with Laurentian and I trust all of the staff with our care. If you are in the area and need a new/first time dentist then I can only recommend Laurentian Dental Centre.

Positive experience: Overall, I find the office is fine. Pleasant reception staff. Confirming Apts & reminders by text is great and simple. Easy direct billing is a plus. Hygenist, Paul, super friendly, knowledgeable and out going & has been a familiar face since day one my son started attending the office. I couldn't tell you what dentists are actually in the office, I feel like there has been a few of them and turn over. Waiting room could definitely use some improvements, be more welcoming to have a better set up, actually use the tv to watch/have something on especially since I find appointments never run on time, always waiting.

Dr. Natalie is one of the most caring and sweetest dentists I have ever met and so is her assistant. Negative experience: Up until recently I had a very high opinion of the place, but at this point I'm having to change my review. Just got off the phone with them not too long ago, and their lack of understanding for an individual who is disabled and has difficulty reaching an appointment due to unforseen circumstances is frankly, abhorrent. I won't be coming back if this is how they treat their patients.

Negative experience: They told me $90 for the services for my kid, So i booked the appointment and when we completed the services, they charged me $150. Which I think is not correct. in ethical or in professional way. Even the lady who charged me was agree that it is not good Idea to estimate other amount and charge just double of what was promised.
