Fantastic experience: The dental assistant was awesome. I didn't get her name unfortunately. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped me better understand what was going on. Her effort made me feel comfortable. Dr. Zaid was excellent as well. Professional, skilled, and reassuring throught the procedure.

Fantastic experience: Updated 2026: Still going here! The staff is still amazing, friendly and accommodating. No complaints whatsoever:) Had an amazing experience first thing this morning! Covid-19 precautions: When I arrived for my appointment, I waited outside and texted to let them know, and they let me in, in a timely fashion considering I was there first thing when they opened. I was greeted at the door by the hygienist, Naseem, who took my temperature and ran through the covid screening with me. I was led to a sterilized exam room, and instructed to keep my mask on in the hallway when lead to the xray machine. Employees also had appropriate PPE. Thank you for taking such wonderful steps to ensure the health of your staff and clients. As for the examination, it was very thorough, Naseem was very kind and attentive, and knowledgeable when I had questions. When the dentist came in to see me, she was also quite kind and supportive, and answered the questions I had and gave a clear explanation of my oral health. I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I ever got her name, but the receptionist was extremely kind and patient as well, and very welcoming and friendly. I felt very cared for and I would highly recommend this office. OH and as a personal favorite, I like how I was asked my PREFERRED name, and addressed with it!!! That really made me feel extremely appreciated, so thank you so much for your lovely work and hospitality! ♡ will be coming back for sure.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for the past few years. It’s great cause each visit is covered or doesn’t break your bank. But the facility and staff don’t reflect that. They’re always friendly and helpful. I love their text message about appointments, as I’m a guy that if I don’t see it visually I’ll forget. This way, I just wait for the text to input on my phone and don’t have to busy my brain. The facilities are great and good equipment. I would highly recommend it

Fantastic experience: The staff were very accommodating and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The dentist and the dental assistant were both kind, patient, and very professional throughout my visit. The dentist explained every procedure clearly and thoroughly, which I really appreciated. I am a very nervous person when it comes to dental care, but during my consultation they made me feel calm, comfortable, and reassured. The assistant was very attentive and supportive, checking on me and helping explain the details of the process. They took the time to explain every step of the next procedure and answered all of my questions without rushing. it was a very positive and reassuring experience, and I felt confident knowing I was in good hands.

Fantastic experience: This office has always been welcoming and great. I’ve been taking my son and now myself here for 5+ years. The staff are always understanding and so pleasant to talk with. They direct bill and will do a quote for you and ask before they do any work you may need done that’s not covered. We now live on the other side of the city but still come to the because we are familiar and they are a great staffed establishment.

Positive experience: I went to maple ridge a few times before and today to have some extractions done, they were extremely nice and did really well with calming me down giving me the sedation I needed as I panic a lot in those moments, I will be continuing my journey with this dentist

Negative experience: I think this place is running a front and potentially scamming claims on benefits. They claim they called me to book an appointment I agreed to that doesn't make ANY sense to me. Checking my call history I did not. I am checking with my benefits company to see what's going on but this place feels sketchy and has gone wayyyy downhill :(

Fantastic experience: My son and I go to this spot. The place is so clean and everyone is very friendly. They do direct billing and tell me the price ahead of time, which is nice so there are no hidden fees. I got bonding done on a space in my teeth and am so impressed with the outcome!

Negative experience: I've been coming here primarily for cleanings and can recommend that. However, if you need any dental work done consider going somewhere else. I just had another dentist fix everything they did here. It's been frustrating having to pay for things twice and seeing the damage that they've done to my teeth. While I understand this is a business it really does seem like all that they care about is money and not providing good care.

Positive experience: I am deeply... DEEPLY... afraid of dentists ever since an accident I had in Brantford ON, involving a root canal. Now I am here dealing with the same tooth, but this time it has to be extracted. This office went above and beyond anything that my ex dentist had done. They took the time to talk to me about my anxiety, explained why it has to come out, and have begun taking steps to help me through this situation while also making me as comfortable as they can. I don't think I will ever be completely comfortable with a dentist, but this place is great. Go here if you hate dentists. You'll walk away with a smile.

Fantastic experience: Ive had nothing but great experiences here. I'm terrified of the dentist, and I've been treated so kindly by every staff member at maple ridge. My whole family has switched to this office, I would highly recommend their services! The staff here are simply lovely! Update: I've overcome almost all of my dental anxiety thanks to Dr. Balsam and the team. Genuinely the nicest people on planet earth. I cannot recommend this dentist enough if you have anxiety or require restorive work- the staff here are kind, gentle, and incredibly supportive of individual patient needs. Thank you maple ridge ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had to switch from my long term dentist after moving and while I liked the first dentist I found in London, I chose to come here because of the location, large staff, and weekend hours. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the charges were in line with the other dental practices I've been to. I also brought my little guy and they were very sweet with him! He did not make their jobs easy (crying and wiggling) and I was getting anxious but they reassured me and him and I was grateful that they took care not to push him too and scare him even more.

Negative experience: Got told I have 7 cavities. Thank God my sister is a dentist too. Reviewed the results with a different Dr and the number was down to 2. The place is a ripe off with age old equipment. My sister says those are some of the worst X-rays she has seen as a dentist

My son is 6 and was terrified to go for his first cleaning, but they were amazing and he did great! I Definitely recommend this Dental office! 10 out of 10!!

Fantastic experience: I came in with horrible teeth.. wanting to pull them all... they did a deep clean into my gums.. the things I thought were cavities.. were infact not.. I only had 1 to 2 small cavities in my entire mouth .. the rest was able to be chipped away and cleaned off... they helped so much.. they were super nice.. im terrified of the dentist and previously had to be put to sleep for dentist stuff. They worked within my budget and still helped me get the dental treatment I desperately needed. I'm so appreciative of the team at Maple Ridge Family Dental for helping me begin my journey of finally taking care of my teeth better. Thankyou so much. Negative experience: I called at 5am when I was puking to cancel my appointment for 2:50, and I’m told I need to spend $75 to reschedule. Yeah, $75. Two days prior they called me wanting to reschedule my appointment because there was a cancellation. So it’s fine for them to cancel my appointment, but it’s not OK for me to do so. BUT they would allow me to come in today while contagious and puking, on top of having an infection and being on antibiotics. They also told me I had 17 previous cancellations, but failed to acknowledge that was within a 13+ year timeframe (and nothing recently or in the last year), and were likely all cancelled beyond 24 hours in advance. Life happens, I can’t help my children bring home viruses from school. I have found a new dentist immediately. This practice has a lot of issues with cancellations in their reviews!!! Beware. If you can absolutely commit to an appointment (assuming they don’t cancel on your first) and don’t have children or health issues of your own, go for it. But it’s a huge risk making an appointment here.

She got rid of any insecurities and made it look so great. They even called me in early and got me in very quickly. The job very well done was done effectively, and efficiently. Negative experience: First let me say the appt started with the dentist insulting me by assuming I was on gov’t assistance despite wearing steel toed boots and a reflective jacket. She then went to discuss what she thought I should have done today. Any other dentist I’ve ever been to has always given you a quote before they begin the work. This was not the case so imagine my surprise when I get up to the front to pay, knowing I have benefits and the bill was $1000. This practice is out for nothing but money they do not care about the patients and I might add my mouth is extremely sore because she is very rough as well as the fact the teeth are very rough and we’re not smoothed out properly. They kept asking me to let them know when my benefits renewed to which my response was I will not be back nor will any member of my family be back because I have never encountered a dental clinic that does not check with their patients before doing work to make sure it is within their budget. My advice avoid this clinic at all costs. They are only out for the money Edit in response to this corrupt business I never realized booking online had anything to do with transparency to charges or checking coverage?! No did I realize that UNLESS you ask for detailed billing in regards to coverage you went in blind! AGAIN THIS PLACE ONLY HAS EXCUSES IS OUT FOR EVERY DOLLAR THEY CAN TAKE DROM YOU!!!! Avoid at all costs unless costs doesn’t matter to you I have since been to a new dentist with tooth ache only to find out that it was caused by the improper filling from Maple Ridge and fillings I was told I needed from Maple Ridge we’re not needed! Again only out for your money!

Positive experience: I've been a patient at this office for a few years now. The staff have been very kind and accommodating to my needs. I'd like to give kudos especially to Skylynn for have an amazing attitude and gentle touch. She's been the best dental hygienist I've had the opportunity of experiencing in over 20yrs. It's a shame she changed her place of employment. I will miss her. The others have been very kind and informative as well. Always a pleasure ladies. Would I recommend this office? Sure would. ☺️

Negative experience: I was so disappointed. I have booked an appointment a months ago. Clinic keep sending confirmation about our appointment. I left early from work to attend my appointment then when i arrived after 30mins of waiting then they said there are issues. If i didn't went and call same day i’ll be charge of cancellation. But if the clinic canceled .for some reason no problem. Where is the justice? They should have alternate solution for this issues. So sad!

Negative experience: I had very bad experience..I did an extraction for my wisdom tooth with surgeon and even though he looked experienced he was talking to the nurse through entire procedure and wasn't concentrating his work.he kept on talking about his new venture.i was feeling very uncomfortable.After even a month later I still have pain at the area.He is a specialist a surgeon who visits every month but I don't remember his name now will share when I find it.But a more professional and respectful approach was expected from a senior surgeon to his patients.i will get that unprofessional doctor name shortly and I will post here....very bad experience.....

Fantastic experience: This location is excellent. A friend of mine recommended this Dove Dental. He told me how great they are here, and he was right. I was terrified to make an appointment but from my initial phone call with Teresa, I felt more at ease. Then my first appointment was difficult for me because of my pain, but Rebecca was amazing. Since that first appointment, I've walked away impressed with all my interactions with the staff here. I will never go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Over priced dentist I've been there 2 times this year and all my insurance money used up never has this happened before chaged 400 and something to fix a filling for 5 mins of work 600 and something for cleaning and xrays i didnt have deep cleaning i didnt take numbing stuff they truly just suck unless you have a ton of insurance money then have it but i now cant see a dentist for a year and it just started she wanted me to come every 3 months shove that idea as well horrible ppl that work here that can do that to people my daughter was going to go here but I will find her a better one the beat ones are when you find the older dentists these new ones want us to pay their loans off you should be ashamed of yourself on what you charge for such crappy service Pink gloves why don't you charge people a decent amount and buy regular gloves you don't need to be fancy just shows what type of ppl work here I'm shocked I truly hope this dental office is closed one day in the future it doesn't deserve success

Fantastic experience: My son was having a tooth issue that needed to be dealt with asap. They were able to get him in same day, and upon request, forwarded his xray so I could provide to his out of town dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience today at Maple Ridge dental, it had been about 8 or 9 years since I've seen a dentist. They didn't make me feel judged at all, the facility was very clean, everyone was very friendly. I didn't catch my dental hygienists name but she was AMAZING. She walked me through everything step by step, always making sure I was ok through the whole process. I will only be coming here from now on.
