I’ve had many dentists, but Dr. Jimmy is by far the best dentist I’ve ever had. She is so kind, helpful and does really amazing work. They’re also amazing with our kids.

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience at Smilo Family Dental with Dr. Jimmy Chopra and team! Their service and customer service were amazing! As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the lovely Stephanie (customer service skills on point), who was kind enough to give me a tour of the whole clinic, which I’ve never had happen before. While I was waiting in the room, she inquired about my fav shows and put Netflix on for me, which was just so nice. Next, Gunjan helped me with my X-rays and profile pics before the treatment. He was super pleasant and made everything easy. After that, Dr. Jimmy Chopra came in for my checkup and cleaning, and she was hands-down the sweetest and most patient dentist. She explained everything to me, right from all my X-rays, and photos, to what was going on with my teeth, and in a way that actually made sense. During the cleaning, she was very gentle and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable. I’ve honestly never had this kind of personalized care at a dental office before. This was by far my best experience (thus, the ultra long review, lol). I'm so glad to have found my forever dentist. 1000% recommend Smilo Family Dental if you're in and around London, ON!

Negative experience: Overpriced! I went for a cleaning and x rays and it cost me almost 800 bucks! When I said I’m not coming back they wouldn’t leave me alone calling and asking me to come back. But don’t worry they give you a gift

I had couple fillings done and a tooth extraction; all the procedures went smoothly and painless. After procedures the clinic always asks if everything is going okay on a next day, this is very important practice and I would recommend other clinics to follow its example because nowadays many people would not say anything if something is wrong until they are asked. Negative experience: I got fillings done for my cavities here which was a good experience but besides that the customer service at sbenati dentistry is terrible we got told our card details weren’t getting saved on the system afterwards they charged us twice on the card without permission or letting us know the person managing this got changed twice and when we called to ask the new person Dosen’t know what’s going on every time they’ve told us they will get back to us and haven’t yet very disappointing since they don’t value customer privacy!!

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I've ever had when getting Cavities filled, at other Dentists I always had to get multiple painful needles for freezing that never seemed to work enough. Dr Sbenati gave me one Needle that I hardly even noticed and before I knew it the freezing had taken over and he finished both my Cavities in under an hour with no discomfort at all. Great Job

Fantastic experience: Sbenati Dentistry got me in for an emergent procedure on a day where they were not having dental work done. I was having significant toothaches overnight and they got me in for 10:30am and Dr. Sbenati was able to provide temporary resolution to my pain with a scheduled root canal early the next week. I appreciate the timeliness and willingness to help out because I was in a lot of pain.

Fantastic experience: This organization is incredibly friendly and compassionate. For more than 10 years, I struggled to smile in public, even in the presence of friends, with little success. However, as they cleaned my teeth, they explained each step of the process and reassured me that I would smile again. I was genuinely impressed by their customer service, and while I anticipate my new smile, I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Negative experience: They harass you every week to get cleaning done. I told them to stop calling or texting, they acknowledge, but they keep contacting me every week. They are also too insistent with sales. Every time I go they are trying to get me to go on Invisalign. No means no.

Fantastic experience: I find Dr. Sbenati an honest and skilled dentist. I had bad root recession on three of my back teeth due to my poor toothbrushing habits (I am a scrubber). Dr. Sbenati suggested covering the roots to protect them. Exposed roots haven't the protection that the upper tooth has so can easily lead to root cavities and tooth loss. I had the procedure done and my teeth look amazing. It is a quick procedure and the protection for my teeth has taken away a lot of worries I had.

Positive experience: I called Sbenati Dentistry yesterday for the first time with a dental emergency. Thankfully they booked me in the next day. As soon as I walked in I knew this was a professional and covid safe enviroment. Dr. Sbentai and his staff are amazing! So friendly and kind. Negative experience: Ignore the high rating, as they beg all their clients for 5 star reviews, its beyond annoying. Also, they overcharge for appointments. Multiple times I have received invoices with an addition unit of time added to the invoice, and I have to have multiple phone calls with the office to get them to understand that if the cleaning appointment only lasts 40-45 minutes in length (ie. 3 "units" of time") I should not be charged 4 units of time. The first time, I assumed it was a mistake, but now that it happened again, I think it is standard practice to just charge for the hour, regardless of how long the appointment is. Edit: before posting my review, I did call the clinic and spoke to the team member who provided the treatment, and was told that nothing could be done and it was standard practice to round anything 6+ minutes up to a full unit of time (15 minutes). He maintained that this is the proper method and no accommodations would be made for me, despite admitting to time fraud. The extra 15 minutes sounds small, but amounts to an additional $70 per visit Second edit: switched to Sunningdale dental. Much much better. They also don't beg for 5 star reviews and have organically high ratings

Negative experience: Would give negative star review if I could. Quite possibly the worst dentistry in the country. Toxic environment for staff, makes it uncomfortable for the patients. Huge money grab!! Don’t fall for the fake 5 star reviews!!! I encourage everyone to read the one star review comments, that will give you a good idea of what kind of dentistry dr sbenati runs. AVOID

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with my last visit to Sbenati Dentistry. I found the smell from the infuser too strong and the music was so loud it was hard to talk to the receptionist. The receptionist informed me she found it loud too but she doesn't have access to turn down the volume. This was the third hygienist I had in less than 3 years. The new hygienist is young and I found her quite rough. I was not impressed at all. Also Dr Sbenati explained what was going on with my tooth. He then went to the waiting room and told my husband. He then had my husband come in at the end of my appointment so the hygienist could explain to my husband what was going on with the tooth. I thought this was odd. There was no reason for him to get my husband. We do talk and I am quite capable of explaining the situation to my husband and I am quite capable about making my own decisions. After I was back in the waiting room I had another question. I was told Dr Sbenati wasn't available. However my husband had an appointment with him. So I had to ask the new receptionist and she went and asked the dentist and she came back with an answer. The treatment is a major expense so I really thought he would come out to see me himself. But that didn't happen. All in all it was a disappointing visit. Not a relaxing atmosphere at all.

Negative experience: Pushed for 6 fillings when I just wanted my wisdom teeth removed. 3 years later, all of the fillings have fallen out or broke and need to be replaced. Poor communication from the dentist, the hygienists were always different, and most of them had trouble communicating in english, or would lean of my shoulder causing pain. They have TVs in every room, but no one knows how to get them working properly. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: I visited them with my sister for her treatment and they had my contact on file, I got a call and was explained about the veneers and how they can bring a positive change to my overall personality by their office manager Var over the phone, I really admire his way of communication and the way he made me understand the process. They seem to be a strong team of thorough professionals who know their job. I am looking forward to getting my smile re designed by Award winning Dr.Sbenati very soon. Way to go guys!!!!

Negative experience: Worst dentistry not only in London may be entire country. most of the reviews here are asked by their staff in middle of the treatment with the iPad to write. I lost over 5k hard earned money getting Invisalign here all appointments gets cancelled and reason they say is simply due to communication issue. If you finally get your appointment booked good luck because even you wont be knowing what the appointment is booked for during the treatment. If the appointment gets cancelled due to issue on their end and you are supposed to receive your Invisalign they will ask you 75$ to ship to your door in London. Also during my Invisalign treatment i never received the Invisalign on time they will say delay from the company and i never complained at that time. During the first few appointments treatments and staff are so nice and as it progresses it got worst and worst.

Fantastic experience: Having dental anxiety I was nervous to come in for my appointment, but all the staff were so nice and accommodating, and made me feel comfortable! The suite is prepared just for you, and you feel super comfortable & cared for by the staff, especially Janice and Bianca! They also provided me with a nice gift as a first time patient, so sweet!

Fantastic experience: As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by the lovely Janice... the office manager she radeates both kindness and professionalism. I then was welcomed by Vicanca the dental hygienist and had the privilege of getting my teeth cleaned by her. She was super gental and extremly kind and professional. She was very amazing . After my cleaning I felt my teeth were surper squeeky clean and sparkling like pearl's. Then for my second appointment I wanted to have my teeth whitening for my birthday. Janice the office manager was kind enough to make it happen. Everyone in this office is SUPER KIND & GENTLE with their DENTAL... I have no problem referring my children and my family and friends to DOCTOR SBENATI and his wonderful staff. They answer all my questions no matter how hard. From the second you walk in , you feel like you walked into a clam and peaceful spa.. Zen at its best. It is SO extreemly clean . Dr. Sbenati is a perfections in every way and I look forward to having my Invisalign done by Dr. Sbenati in the near future. I have trust in him that he will give me the gorgeous smile that I always wanted. I was welcomed like Ryality from the beginning coming in and I know I will be treated like Royalty the whole time under the care of all staff memebers. I love my smile and I can't wait until its more gorgeous after the Invisalign orthodontic reattment is completed

Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Sbenati and his team, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I had been dreading the procedure, anticipating a considerable amount of pain, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Sbenati and his team created a warm and welcoming environment that immediately put me at ease. The entire process was incredibly organized, and they took the time to explain every step, even during the procedure itself. This level of communication helped alleviate any concerns I had, and I felt well-informed throughout the entire process. To my surprise, the actual root canal was far less painful than I had expected. Dr. Sbenati's expertise and gentle approach made the experience much more comfortable than I could have imagined. I appreciate the care and attention to detail displayed by the entire team. Thank you, Dr. Sbenati and team, for making what could have been a nerve-wracking experience a surprisingly positive one. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of dental care.

Negative experience: I originally gave a 5 star review after our first experience, however, over the past 2 years, have had a very different experience. The experience is average for a dental office. Our initial hygienist was great, but she's left, I am sure I can guess why. At a recent appointment, the person doing my scan was new, and not certain how to complete the procedure. The way the other staff spoke to her was very uncomfortable and I could tell she was embarrassed. There seems to be a lot of turnover in staff. The actual dental care is fine, my children and I were comfortable in the chair. The cleanings and cavity fillings went smoothly and weren't really any different than other offices we have attended. However, the messaging gives an impression that they are running a business first, and dental care comes second. It's feels like it's all about profits and upselling. Different appliances and Invisalign were recommended numerous times -- I've been to 3 other dentists on a regular basis for my entire adult life, and this has never been recommended to me before or since. They are constantly sending in estimates to my insurance company to see what they can do. Their charges are never fully covered under our benefits, even though we are covered under 2 insurance companies. On our 2nd and 3rd visit, I looked at our statement and services that had not been done were added to our bill, and upon questioning them, they were removed and I was given a credit -- so why were they added in the first place?? I have received numerous texts and emails notifying me of upcoming appointments that I did not book, them again trying to get our family in more often than necessary and would result in us paying extra out of pocket. I have shared with them that our benefits only cover a certain amount of visits/services, but they are very pushy, almost aggressively, for us to come in anyway and pay out of pocket. It seems that charges are always rounded up and exceed what the typical benefits cover (e.g 4 x-rays instead of 2, 60 mins scaling instead of 45mins, etc). There is always a sales pitch and fear mongering. Lots of pressure for more frequent cleanings and Invisalign. I was asked numerous times at an appointment (that had an excessively long wait time) if I could be photographed/ recorded for social media. The first "no" should have been enough--it was very disconcerting! They brag about providing "extras" like submitting your claims for you but +75% of the time, there is an error submitting and I end up needing to do it myself anyhow. We were referred to an orthodontist, which upon seeing, couldn't find a reason for us being sent there--a waste of our time and money. It's exasperating being asked to write reviews, attempting to be upsold on Invisalign, and being aggressively hounded to come in for an excessive amount of appointments. When going for healthcare, I don't want to feel like I'm going to a clinic that works on commission -- very pushy. More than a couple of times, I would receive a phone call/text within 24 hours of our appointment, asking to change the time and/or when I received a confirmation text/email, the time I had originally booked had been altered without my approval. I need to feel comfortable in a relaxed and laid back environment -- this was not happening for me at Sbenati. Some people may like this type of business model, but I find it very off-putting. I find it very unprofessional and have changed providers. I found it very interesting to read other 1-star reviews with similar concerns. Beware of Google Reviews, especially when a business is soliciting them, it can be misleading. Ask family and friends for personal experiences. Further to my original review -- I corresponded with both Dr. Sbenati and the front desk about my review as well as stating that I would be leaving the practise due to my concerns, but I am still receiving emails and texts about appointments that were requested to have been cancelled. Further to my point about the lack of organization and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I finished my veneers!!! I am ecstatically beyond words happy with them. I has been a long process to find the right dentist, and Dr. Sbenati is the very best of the best dentist after a long search to find the right clinic. He is passionate and caring and knows exactly what his patients need. I can finally smile normally after 5 years!! Thank you All of the Sbenati staff are beyond amazing, very knowledgeable and most of all honest. Janice was very attentive to my concern and didn’t rush my consultation. I felt like she gave me her 100% attention. Thank you for the great experience!
