Positive experience: Dental tech and dentist were efficient, knowledgeable, thorough and friendly.

Negative experience: One of the worst dental clinics in terms of ethics and patient treatment. My relative, a refugee with valid insurance that fully covers dental exams, X-rays, and fillings, was told by the receptionist that the clinic does not accept his insurance and that he must pay out of pocket. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She refused to listen, showed no respect, and did not even attempt to review proof of coverage. Only after we stated that we would file an official complaint did the clinic suddenly “change its mind” and message us the next day confirming that the patient was fully covered. This raises a serious question: Do patients who are unaware of their insurance rights get taken advantage of here? Absolutely unacceptable behavior. I strongly do not recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Monique is amazing!! And Dr Serhan puts you at ease and gives clear step by step guidance during the procedure.

Negative experience: Worst decision I ever made was going to this office for a tooth ache, they’re complete scammers and will push you to get procedures you don’t need just for the money. When you try to cancel appointments they will ignore your cancellation requests and once it finally gets approved they’ll try to force you to reschedule regardless of the reasoning of the cancellation. They don’t care about anything other than the money.

Negative experience: I’ve had an extremely disappointing and costly experience with Stoney Creek Dental. They provided me with an incorrect mouthguard not once, but twice, and were clearly unhappy each time I returned for adjustments—despite the fact that the mistakes were theirs. I am now being told I need a *third* mouthguard. Based on their recommendation, I also paid for Botox, which did absolutely nothing to help. A specialist has since confirmed that the mouthguard prescribed by Stoney Creek Dental is actually the cause of my TMJ issues. After suffering for 10 months and spending **over $1500** on Botox based on their recommendation, the clinic refused to take responsibility or offer any financial help—even though the problem stemmed from their own errors. This was the final treatment option after doing physio, TMJ massage, chiropractic, and Osteotherapy. I’ve always had the feeling this clinic is focused more on money than patient care, especially with how often they call to change appointment times. Sadly, this experience has only confirmed that. **I would recommend staying far away from Stoney Creek Dental unless you want to deal with pain—both physically and financially.*

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Stoney Creek Family Dental for about 5 years. I have always had a great experience. The staff here is very nice and welcoming. I feel extremely comfortable at all of my visits. I typically come in for check-ups every 6-8 months which include imaging of my teeth and cleanings. I have also had two preventative fillings here which went very well. They were completed efficiently and comfortably. The dental hygienist, Alicia, and Drs. Serhan and Hogan-Cann take their time to have personal conversations with me and additional conversations about my oral care as well. A full oral cavity cancer exam was performed including palpation of my neck and lymph nodes. They were very thorough and pleasant. I would recommend this location to family, friends, and colleagues.

Fantastic experience: We just visited Stoney Creek Family Dental yesterday. It was our first time to see a dentist. I was looking for a good dental clinic, and browse online and see their review was great. So i decided to book with them. And i didn’t regret choosing them because all their staff are so accommodating. From the reception, Summer was so helpful, and then Heba who assisted my daughter with her assessments and some procedures was so friendly and made sure my daughter is calm and don’t get nervous. And Dr. Andrew was so nice and explains all the procedures to my daughter to make her feel calm. He did the procedure smoothly and my daughter didn’t complain of any pain at all during the procedure. He was so patient and friendly which i am looking for a dentist. And their dental hygienist Ashley who cleaned my daughter teeth was so patient having conversation with my daughter while doing the procedure, nice, friendly and patient. And lastly their billing team who are so nice and made sure everything is billed properly. Overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend Stoney Creek Family Dental for those who are looking for one. Thumbs up to their wonderful team.

Negative experience: Always a good experience at Stoney creek. It’s great they fit me in on Saturday’s. All of their hygienists have been great especially my last visit with Dana. Edit: Honestly I have had multiple horrible experiences with this office. Dana and almost all of the actual hygienists and dentists have been amazing. The first one I had was very rough and made my mouth hurt very bad but that was a long time ago now. My huge issue with this place is their office administration when it comes to billing. It’s been an issue almost every single time. They don’t submit to insurance properly. When I have asked them not to they do it anyways and then it takes me weeks to get paid properly. To the point this place has owed me hundreds of dollars back and have had to write me a cheque which then took weeks to receive from them. I’m pretty sure this will be the result after today’s visit. I have spent countless hours of my own time dealing with them and my benefits because they constantly mess it up. Even when I ask to submit myself they don’t give me the right forms so now I have to double check every single time to avoid having to come back. I really wanted to give them the 5 star review but honestly I’m so fed up with dealing with the billing here it’s ludicrous.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal dentist honestly. I had been with the same dentist since I was born and unfortunately he retiree during covid. I have MAJOR anxiety going to a new dentist. I had been in excruciating pain for over a month and when I called stoney creek they MADE SURE I was seen the next day. Turns out I had MAJOR infection going on and the tooth needed to be pulled. They pulled it that day. ALL of the staff were wonderful. Super friendly, constantly asking if I was okay through out the entire procedure. The dentist himself was also Phenomenal. I have found my new family dentist with stoney creek. I've also told all friends and family to switch to them! Been a patient for about two or three years now and still have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Stoney Creek Family Dental and their team. All of them are awesome! Thanks again guys!

The dentist was efficient and gave me the choice to go without anesthesia for my fillings because the cavities were not deep. I was happy to avoid the anesthesia because the needle is my least favourite part. I was in and out of the office in about an hour.

Negative experience: Less than impressed with the chair-side manners of their team and was verbally accosted by an extremely rude front desk staff. They made it right by introducing me to dr chopra who was very through and professional - she was amazing. One of the best dentists I’ve seen in 30 years. Dr Chopra has since moved to her own clinic and the front desk staff at SCFD refused to tell me where she moved to as it would lose them a patient and money… well, I found it. FYI for anyone interested Dr. Chopra is now at Sbenati Dental on Hyde Park (soon to be renamed Smileo)

Fantastic experience: Super clean and professional! It was my first time here, and this will definitely be my go-to dental clinic from now on. The space is clean, spacious, and has a relaxing atmosphere that helps put you at ease, no matter what kind of session you’re coming in for. Pricing is well-explained and very reasonable.

Negative experience: My son went there for a root canal and he stayed inside over 3 hours and the dentist was not able to do the root canal. My son had to go back to see another dentist to finish the root canal and after that my has been suffering with a lot of pain and infection. My son ended in the emergency hospital with lots of pain and he is taking antibiotics again and again. Last Monday my son went to see another dentist and they said the infection affected the bone and he will need a surgery that will cost him around 4 thousand. All because an incompetent, inexperienced dentist didn't do a good job. This place used to be good with great dentists but not anymore. Please don't go there go find a better place with good professionals.

Negative experience: What a complete and utterly waste of people’s time, these people had both my contact information and my wife’s, when we got there they took a while to talk to us , it was obvious that they didn’t properly prepare themselves to accommodate the appointments so they came up with a ridiculous excuse trying to imply that we didn’t pick up one phone call from them , as per their part they called the mother of the child but they never called my phone, never left a message either, but then tried to say they couldn’t confirm with us even though we made the appoint and confirmed we will be there , we waiting a few weeks just to get this appointment, the unprofessionalism from my his place is ridiculous, I will never suggest this place to anyone ! The management have no customer service skills and it shows as their management was just standing there with no answer or proper resolution for the stupidity of this location .

I always have this anxiety about going to the dentist. After meeting Dr Andrew and his assistance I’m doing fantastic. Shirly is amazing (Dr Andrew’s assistant), she made me feel very comfortable. She’s one of a kind!!! The second time visit, I went back with my sons, and they were treated with care. We all felt amazing and felt like we have known everyone there for years. The third time, Dr Andrew wasn’t around, so I had to see a different dentist who was also amazing, sweet, and patient. He’s very professional and I highly recommend. Every person I met in the office at Stoney Creek Family Dental are very friendly and professional. Dr Andrew Hogan Cann (dentist) and his assistance are exceptional. Dr Andrew is very professional, and skilled. He treats with care and passion. They really took the time necessary to de everything right and as a new patient took some really good time to get to know me and my family. Honestly, everyone is friendly and efficient. Fantastic experience: Always a 5 star for me. They treat my kids with love and care, and between the amazing hygienists/assistants and Dr. Serhan's expertise, I highly recommend this dental office. They are quite busy, but have always made time for my emergencies. Through their demeanor while undergoing care over the last 5 years, they've helped to ease me from a person with severe dental anxiety and pain who needed to be medicated before a simple cleaning, to a person who can go in for routine cleaning and check ups with nothing at all. Fantastic experience: I came to Stoney creek family dental last month when I broke my front tooth. I had seen another dentist before but they said that there was no fix and my teeth had to be pulled out. I wanted to save my tooth, I visited this clinic after reading the reviews and thought of giving it a try, I saw Dr Bil and he was able to save my tooth. Right from the start, he explained my situation very well. Kept his communication clear throughout the procedure. The end result was amazing. I was able to smile again. Today, it’s been almost a month and I have no issues with my tooth, Thankyou Dr Bil and Stoney creek family dental for exceptional patient care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bil and Simran were very good they took me in on an emergency root canal very professional and took excellent care of me during the entire procedure best dentist visit i’ve had he explained the whole procedure and made me feel very confident about the entire procedure would give them 10 stars if it was able very good communication and the front desk is very accommodating as well!
