Fantastic experience: **If you're someone who has anxiety/depression & struggles to take care of your teeth, I highly recommend Masooda and Dr. Kim @ Cityview Dental!** Masooda is the BEST hygienist! I have such immense nerves about cleanings, partly due to bad experiences in the past, but she is always so kind and patient with me. She once offered to play any music I'd like during a cleaning (which no one had ever done before!) and she's been using that playlist for me since. Thanks to her, I was recently able to try a cleaning without full-on freezing for the first time in years. During that, she went nice and slow and was so encouraging. 10/10 would recommend her!!! Dr. Kim is awesome too! He's always been very understanding of my anxiety and very sweet. He also does a great job explaining things and doesn't just gloss over them, which I appreciate immensely :) He is patient and doesn't rush stressful instances involving fillings/cavities/etc. I'm moving away soon and sad to be leaving behind a dentist's clinic for the first time ever Thank you both & thanks a ton to the awesome front desk too! The couple people I've spoken to have always been always friendly and not judgmental.

Negative experience: As others have mentioned, there seems to be a very high employee turnover at this clinic. In my short time, I must have been treated by 4-6 different dental hygienists who have come and go. 2 of the hygienists were really good. Also, there is zero consistency with this clinic. If one dentist referred you to a surgeon, then a completely different dentist may do the check up. Zero consistency. Something seems off about this clinic internally, which is unfortunate because I would have much preferred to stay.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience every time! I’m always warmly greeted by the friendly front desk staff and promptly called back for my appointment. I used to dread going to the dentist but now I look forward to my cleanings with Kaizza, who has helped me improve my oral hygiene tremendously! The assistants are also very friendly and help me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the appointment. The dentists are all very knowledgeable and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. They’ve been very reassuring whenever I have a concern and I always leave feeling confident that my oral health is in good hands at Cityview!

Fantastic experience: Amazing clinic! Dr. Kim was very kind and explained very in-depth during my first consultation. He was patient and thorough and walked me through the x-rays/scan to a level I've never had before at a dentist. Joy was an amazing technician and made sure I was comfortable throughout. She also gave me tips on brushing. The clinic seems to really care about their patients and the front desk was friendly too. They do direct billing to insurance as well which is a huge plus!

Aida was so kind & wonderful, Doctor Liu is incredibly patient, so nice with patients & extremely knowledgeable, she made great recommendations, I’m so happy I found this place. Truly best dentist in town. Edit- I continue to be impressed by this clinic. I came here for my second visit for a cleaning, the hygienist Masooda was so incredible. I was anxious, she suggested she numbed my gum and tongue so I’m not as anxious and I don’t feel it as much & boy there’s no going back. It was the easiest cleaning ever. After cleaning she took the time to teach me what I’ve been doing wrong with my electric toothbrush made recommendations + was extremely kind and humble. The chair had a massager built in- that was a nice touch. The technology here is top notch.

Fantastic experience: I usually feel anxious about dental visits, but the hygienist (Zahraa) was patient & considerate. She explained each step, worked gently, and made sure I was okay throughout the cleaning. The cleaning was thorough but gentle, and she checked in often to make sure I was comfortable. Negative experience: I’ve been coming here for three years, but my recent experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I’ve decided not to return. I’m self-employed, so I’ve been using CDCP because it’s a better fit for people like me. My first time using it was in July, and I was told to come back for a cleaning in four months. When I returned last Monday, the services weren’t covered to the expected percentage (I was informed when I was paying). I was told, “This isn’t the first time this has happened. Some CDCP patients have had the same issue.” I asked, “Then why didn’t you notify CDCP patients to check their coverage before coming in?” Long story short, I was disappointed with how the situation was handled—it felt like they didn’t care about their patients. Also, CDCP coverage is based on the time spent. I was told that 50–55 minutes were used for my cleaning back in July, which includes the time required for scaling and root planing, as well as all steps directly related to the procedure—preparing the instruments, positioning me as the patient, removing plaque and calculus, flossing, rinsing, documenting the treatment, and maintaining patient comfort throughout. My teeth weren’t in the best shape, but… 50–55 minutes? When I looked at competitors’ websites, they clearly stated information about CDCP: “Please be aware that CDCP benefits may not cover the full cost of your dental services, and you may be responsible for the remaining balance. We are here to help and recommend reviewing your coverage before your appointment.” Fortunately, finding a dentist these days is much easier than finding a family doctor.

She took the time to understand my dental history and provided clear, practical guidance for improving my oral hygiene, especially in strengthening my gums since I’ve dealt with gum issues before. She also walked me through the next steps for my Invisalign treatment, as I recently continued my treatment after moving from the UK to Canada. Fantastic experience: Update: I've been cancelled on/switched 5 times when making an appointment, I was called the wrong name when addressing me and they said they'd put in their notes about salt because of my reflexes.. they did not, ended up saying no 4 times to the tech before just leaving. Apologies or not it wasn't professional. I'm not going to give a lower rating because I love Dr. Erfany and have never had an issue with him but the other dentist and his tech..0 out of 5 stars for making me uncomfortable and cry trying to force me to do something when stating no. I personally suggest actually putting things down in your notes for future reference... Dr. Erfany though is amazing and I highly recommend him, he's calm, has patience and shows concern on such a good way. He gets 10/10 stars I was treated beautiful here, they have so much compassion and heart ❤️ Dr. Erfany and Daniella though are absolutely amazing. Thank you again for your help and kindness on Thursday. Update: Still amazing humans

Fantastic experience: EDIT: I initially left the review below 2 stars, but I received a follow-up call from Huma who kindly explained that the standard cleaning appointment is limited to one hour per patient, and in my case, there was more work required. She acknowledged that this should have been clearly communicated before starting the procedure and offered a complimentary cleaning as a resolution. I appreciate the gesture and hope things go smoothly moving forward I came in for an exam and cleaning, exam went well and my appointment was at 5:00, and by 6:50 I was out of the office. I initially thought I’d found a great dental clinic, but I left disappointed. Only the top and half the bottom of my teeth were cleaned… actually the bottom still have the same tartr and I was told I’d need to come back for another cleaning. It was already difficult to get this appointment since I travel frequently, so leaving with the job half done was frustrating and inconvenient. I was also told to come back for fillings, but honestly, I’m not comfortable returning after this experience. I prefer having my dental care completed properly in one visit, not left unfinished.

Negative experience: I've been coming here for 2.5 years. Always a different hygienist, and they hound you with text, email, phone calls if you don't book every 6 months. I went through 2 major surgeries and asked the receptionist to please stop calling to remind me bc I'm not capable of making, nor attending an appt. Got quoted for a tooth implant of $3,500-4,500 (total from both their office and the specialust), turns out be be $6,800. Also, I got a filing done, and now my tooth is worse!! A couple of other reviews also stated the same issue. Will not be returning. Not going to specify which dentist, but she definitely needs more experience and transparency, I had to complain about the situation, and then it got rectified by the head dentist.

Fantastic experience: Coming from another country, I had always held the stereotype that dental professionals tend to be cold, judgmental, and impatient—but this clinic completely changed that perception. I first visited during a dental emergency caused by years of neglect, and when I admitted that to Dr. Deljoomanesh, I wasn’t met with judgment. Instead, she responded with empathy and encouragement, which meant a lot to me. Since then, my cleanings with the hygienists have been consistently relaxing, pleasant, and—strangely enough—actually kind of fun . The front desk staff are always warm, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the clinic itself is spotless with a calming atmosphere. I can’t recommend this place enough: If you’re looking for a dental clinic that’s kind, professional, and genuinely cares, this is the place to go.

Negative experience: They use very cheap materials for fillings compared to other dental clinics. Most of the fillings they done broke within in two years, even just about 1 year, and you have to redo them. Then they can make money from you again. How many times can a tooth be re-drilled and refilled in a lifetime? Also, when I went to other dentists, they said most of the fillings I done at this clinic should not be done in the first place. There are different situations of cavities, some cavities you can just observe and take good care of them, and it will not very likely grow too bad. Not to mention that this clinic uses extremely non-durable materials. Once you let them fill teeth that only needed monitoring, you’re on a fast track to wearing down the enamel.

Fantastic experience: I have needed lots of dental care my entire life therefore I have seen A LOT of dental hygienists … Kaizza is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced by a landslide! So kind, pleasant, funny and engaging she makes you feel welcome and safe immediately. She listens to your concerns and is completely non-judgmental and very helpful. Her cleaning itself was PAINLESS and I have very sensitive teeth — I almost fell asleep in the chair, it’s the first cleaning I ever had that felt GOOD while she was doing it! The clinic itself is gorgeous & warm and everyone is super friendly (including front desk - I’m sorry don’t know her name but always amazing) — the dental chairs even gently massage you and you watch a TV screen with a relaxing scene. Just 15/10 experience all around - would recommend to everyone especially if you’ve had prior bad experiences with dental offices and procedures! Plus my teeth are sparkling !

Negative experience: Friendly receptionists and service, however organizationally a mess. Different hygienists every visit, rotating dentists, services given outside of insurance at my cost, appointments lengths not specified (.5 to 2hrs). I would look elsewhere, unfortunately selection is slim in this area.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr Liu at CityView Dental for close to two decades now. The service just keeps getting better. I moved out of the city a couple years ago but continue to drive into town to come to CityView because I have not ever been at another practise that prioritizes my comfort and care more than they do. They even went to bat with my insurance provider (who erroneously denied a claim) and were able to recover thousands of dollars in orthodontic coverage. Talk about above and beyond. THANK YOU, DR. Fantastic experience: This has been the best dental office I have ever been too. I love coming here because the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist, hygienist and dental assistants make me feel comfortable and at ease. The dentist here are true professionals. I currently see Dr. Liu who is helping me on my Invisalign treatment and has gone the extra mile to add in teeth where my teeth are missing. For my cleanings I have had the pleasure of seeing Joie and Jasmine who were so talented in their work. Emiele and Aida are so friendly and play a crucial part in easing me and other patients. Shayna and Malik are an awesome duo and make scheduling and communicating so easy.
