Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr. Aliza enough! I had a complex dental emergency while traveling, my implant crown fractured, leaving a sharp metal post exposed that was cutting my tongue and making it impossible to eat. Since I’m on a tight travel schedule, a lab-made temporary wasn't an option. Dr. Aliza was brilliant. She performed a high-level clinical reconstruction on the spot, stabilizing the implant and restoring the tooth's shape with incredible precision. Her technical skill is top-notch, and her bedside manner is even better. She saved my trip! If you are in Toronto and need a dentist who actually cares and has the hands of an artist, go see Dr. Aliza. She is a lifesaver! Edna is also impeccable, super cordial, friendly and made me extremely comfortable while waiting for Dr.

Negative experience: I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share this so 1) others are aware of a potential fee despite the “free consultation” claim, and 2) the clinic can hopefully update their website and be more transparent. The website advertises a free Invisalign consultation. However, the intake form required insurance information, which I found odd, so I entered “TBC.” While waiting, staff suggested doing a scan. I asked multiple times whether it was included in the free consultation, as I wanted to avoid any charges. I was told it was included. The consultation itself was fine, and Dr. Aliza provided helpful information. She suggested a cleaning and exam first, but I told her that I only wanted a consultation that day. After I left, the receptionist called saying there was a consultation fee of around $60 and that they needed payment, but my insurance information was missing. I pointed out that the website states it’s complimentary and that I was told the scan was included as well. After putting me on hold, he came back and said the free consultation only applies to existing patients, but they would waive the fee this time. This experience felt misleading and not transparent. I was considering returning, but I won’t. Due to this lack of transparency, they lost a patient. I’ve since noticed similar reviews and genuinely hope the clinic improves their communication.

Negative experience: Update : Nobody ever reached out to me. But someone will reach out twice a day to make sure you leave a Google review after every appt. Really frustrated that I came in concerned about an infection in my gums, was told that it didn’t look like anything and to check in two weeks later if it was still an issue. Ended up in urgent care less than 48 hours later because the infection had gotten worse, and I really wish my concerns had been addressed so I didn’t end up this sick. Found this place very hit and miss depending on who the appointment was with, they really push you to review them on Google so here you go!

Negative experience: I had a phone call yesterday evening that was unprofessional. When she insisted on her inappropriate tone and communication, I stated that I would need to request a transfer. Her response was dismissive (“Ok”). This was disappointing and not the level of professionalism I expect from a clinic.

People at waterview dental were beyond my expectations , professional, ethical , not talking about «  how much you are covered «  only giving medical advice. Negative experience: The staff and the doctor were polite and knowledgeable, but they charged me $350 for a simple exam and x-rays. You can get an exam, x-rays & cleaning for $99 from other dental clinics in Toronto. Waterview seems to be in cahoots with opencare to upcharge customers. Do not recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: The experience at Waterview dental was excellent. My hygienist Jasmine completed a detailed cleaning and provided a thorough explanation of what needed attention. This was followed up with a visit by the dentist. Dr Datu did a check up and fit me in to fix my wire on the same day. Would definitely recommend this office for your future dental needs.

Fantastic experience: My dental appointment was scheduled with a one day turnaround. As the dental hygienists were all busy Dr. Andrew Park had some free time and did the cleaning. This was a complete surprise and demonstrates how Waterview Dental goes above and beyond to serve their patients. Great gem of an office.

Positive experience: I visited this clinic for a sensitive tooth, and Dr. Saj was amazing, he treated it within an hour, completely pain-free. Everything about the procedure was great. However, when I went to pay, my total bill was $635. The receptionist informed me that my CDCP plan covers 85%, but I was still charged $164.08, whereas it should have been around $95.25. I recommend anyone visiting this clinic to request a cost estimate beforehand, I made the mistake of not doing so.

They have technology I’ve literally never seen before at a dentist office. I had an amazing cleaning, and my dentist was actually so nice and personable. She really took time to explain what she thought I would benefit from. Side note- I love that the office is really bright and inviting. I didn’t realize how many times I was stuck in an old dingy office that had such bad vibes until after being here - such a nice office compared to other places I’ve been. I really liked coming here and I would genuinely recommend this place to anyone. 10/10 will be back for all future work!

Fantastic experience: I have needed a root canal for months, it was becoming very painful. I got an appointment for an assessment with Waterview THE SAME DAY, and the root canal was scheduled for the following Monday. The staff was fantastic, the dentist even rescheduled another appointment to accommodate my schedule. Had the root canal and as far as root canals go, it was not as bad as I thought it would be. The dentist and the assistant were amazing, I felt comfortable and taken care of. And I felt very little pain afterwards, not sure if that was me or the dentist, but how many people can say they’ve had a root canal and it was a great experience? ‍♀️

My recent dental hygiene visit with Jasmin was no different. She was extremely thorough and took great care, and provided some nice tips too on how to keep things healthy.

Fantastic experience: Since the start of January, I’ve been experiencing unexplained pain in my mouth. I decided to book a check-up and cleaning, and the staff at Waterview Dental were fantastic. The receptionists, Hina and Rafiya, were very friendly and checked me in with minimal wait time. For my check-up, Dr. Joyia did an incredible job explaining the issues I was having. It turns out I need fillings due to some cavities. Her assistant took X-rays with minimal discomfort, making the process much easier. They also taught me valuable oral hygiene techniques—apparently, I’ve been brushing incorrectly this whole time! The hygienist, Miya, was also amazing. The cleaning went smoothly, and I didn’t feel any pain throughout the process. All the plaque on my teeth is gone, and I even received a little goodie bag with a toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste. This was truly a revolutionary experience for someone who previously had poor dental hygiene. Thank you, Waterview Dental staff!

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to have found Waterview Dental! Everyone in the clinic was so warm and welcoming the moment I walked in. I walked in with a dental emergency and was offered an appointment the same day! I don't have dental insurance currently, but the treatment plans were offered to me beforehand with a cost breakdown, allowing me to decide what treatments would be best for me and my budget. Dr. Datu saw me on the first day and restored my faith in my oral health. She has such a calming presence and always reassured me that their team will work with me to get my oral health back on track. She completed a scan and provided me in-depth details about the current state of my teeth showing me pictures on the screen as well. New technology is quite amazing! Zabib was the dental hygienist who completed my cleanings, she is absolutely wonderful! So kind and patient and ensured I was comfortable throughout my entire cleaning. She was so gentle, I almost fell asleep. I am beyond grateful for the Waterview Dental team, and so happy I found a new dental clinic for my family. Positive experience: Hello, I give a three star review because the cleaning is 30 minutes versus the hour I would get elsewhere. I also experienced difficulty with getting a correct invoice with insurance information and my birthday was not corrected under my file. Because of the bad attention to detail from administration, I would not go a second time.
