Fantastic experience: Dr. karimi is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain my treatment plan in detail. I appreciate that they only recommend procedures I actually need. The office is spotless and uses the latest technology.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional service. No matter what your tooth complain is, you’re better off seeing a regular dentist than wasting your time here. They “forget” appointments and every staff member tells you something different so you never know who is lying or who’s telling the truth. Wouldn’t recommend or come again. Not only did I waste my time but I felt like they weren’t very professional for a so called “emergency” clinic.

Fantastic experience: I don’t like to go to unknown doctors but This place was amazing. A few weeks ago I was in mind numbing pain due to a broken root canal tooth. I called late evening and they saw me an hour later. I am grateful to Dr. Thomas Minkov and his associate, Harvey I believe was his name, as they xrayed, and shaved down the tooth to put less pressure on it. I left with immediate relief, less pain and a prescription for pain meds as I awaited to see my regular dentist. I ended up having to extract the tooth a week later as it ended up infected. If you need emergency dental this is the best place - highly recommend!

Negative experience: A throbbing tooth that could have needed a root canal sent me to this office (I've had several before and know the signs.) Before I went, I called and asked whether there were surcharges for those on the federal dental care plan; I was told by the office receptionist that there might or might not be—this was a bald-faced lie: I later found out this clinic charges according to the provincial guidelines (which are ALWAYS more expensive than the fee guide for the federal program)--hence, they KNEW in advance that any fees charged WOULD cost me out-of-pocket money. TRUST DESTROYED! Secondly, the office says it performs root canals. After I went in, an X ray was taken. The dentist said I needed a root canal and then he referred me to a root canal specialist and didn't want to do it, himself--WHY? If he can do them and since their office advertises their doing so, why send me to a MORE EXPENSIVE specialist?? Lastly, after a brief visit, an X ray and a very quick oral exam, I left with a prescription for codeine for the discomfort. VISIT PRICE = $92 for a bottle of codeine and nothing else from this (I know how to go on-line and find an endodologist, myself!) There are OTHER emergency dental clinics in Toronto; you might want to check them out, firstly, based on my experience.

Dr. Michael ,back then took great care of me professional, And his lovely team, especially the guy who works at the receptionist he’s Angel. Recently, I came back for a root canal with thanksgiving tonight in this office, and once again, am deeply grateful to Dr Adam for the exceptional care and kindness shown during my visit. Your professionalism he explained to me the whole process he gave me prescription. He also told me the closest pharmacy that was open since it was a holiday night. Negative experience: What a rude customer service my goodness ,the asian lady who i speak with is super rude and she hung up on me i never see this kind of service avoid this place at all cost

Fantastic experience: Dr,Darrien Lui was amazing. Very kind and understanding. Went in for an emergency extraction and he and his assistant made me feel at ease they were very friendly and treated me promptly. I have high anxiety with dental work and he and his team made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend anyone that needs emergency care to come here.

Fantastic experience: First visit with my 9 year old son tonight and I was very impressed. Modern and clean office, friendly reception, and great care. The dentist and dental assistant were excellent with my 9 year old, who was in a lot of pain and very nervous about what was going to happen. They quickly diagnosed the issue and prescribed the necessary medication. If you have a dental emergency, I highly recommend this establishment.

Negative experience: Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Just... unbelievably rude. I asked on the phone whether they're able to perform a certain procedure that I needed urgently (it was time-sensitive, and my usual dentist's office was closed that day). The receptionist said "Yes yes, we do all the things". So I asked again, received the same answer, and the third time she switched away from "yes yes" to asking me for the spelling of the specific procedure's name. After a short wait another colleague picked up the phone, and promptly started raising her voice at me. This colleague now said that the procedure I was asking about doesn't exist (because she's never heard of it) and that the only thing they can do is teeth extraction. When I asked if she could please inquire with the doctor about that, she started being really rude, told me that this clinic can't help me, then unilaterally cancelled my appointment.

Negative experience: For 5 minutes of my time there I had to pay 205 cad of which the insurance covers only 112.98.Terrible service! I was not given a protective cover for the x-ray. The doctor started examining me without gloves. Then he put them on and asked if I had a family dentist. He gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and Tylenol. Unless you absolutely have to, do not go here unless you want to spend several hundred dollars up front for nothing, at best, for a prescription.

Fantastic experience: Was seen promptly and my dental issues were fixed in such a reasonable time. The dentists were very friendly as well, and were super lax when I had to cough mid-work LOL. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! it’s a holiday weekend at 9pm and the clinic was able to see me within an hour of calling. Dr Saati was so kind and compassionate and made me feel at ease during the visit. I ended up needing a wisdom tooth pulled and she eased all of my worries and made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. The rest of the staff were also amazing. The office was clean, newly renovated with advanced equipment. And the cost was much lower than I was expecting! 10/10 experience, I would highly recommend.

Positive experience: The staff on Dundas Street saw me promptly within 48 hours; and the work seems to be successful. All were pleasant. However, after many phone calls, and emails, and false promises; it took 24 days to get my statement (although I gladly paid at the time of service).

Fantastic experience: Had a bike accident and was in a rush to find an emergency dentist to fix my cracked front teeth as soon as I could. I was recommended this place by the paramedics who I rode with to the hospital. They were very accommodating and gave me an appointment within the next hour and I was out shortly after! If you're in an emergency situation I would definitely recommend coming here!

Fantastic experience: Desperately needed a dentist after hours and got referred here (by my wife’s clinic). Small but very efficiently run clinic that was able to take me in on my first call. Dr Tepperman and his assistant were fantastic. Diagnosed my issue quickly and explained the options very thoroughly. In short, I get to keep the tooth (even if only for now). Can’t believe I’m raving about a dental clinic but this place deserves it. Highly recommend for anyone have a dental emergency! Even if it’s not an emergency, I’d consider moving over if it were closer to home.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dental team from front desk, dental assistant and dentist Dr. Steele. I went in with pain and was out within 30 mins with a prescription and next steps. Don’t waste your time with any other emergency clinic - this is it!

Fantastic experience: This is a great clinic with patient, competent and helpful staff. I saw Dr. Heinola, who took the time to explain the diagnosis completely. The x-ray tech even helped me cross Yonge on a snowy day!

Fantastic experience: Really positive experience using their services. I experienced a fractured molar this past weekend, called them at 9am on a Sunday, got an appointment for 11am and was out of their offices by noon with the issue resolved. Friendly and helpful reception experience and the dentist was professional, explained everything incredibly concisely and was just generally quite calm and reassuring overall. Thank you to every staff member that was working that day.

Negative experience: I have been here twice in 5 years. The first time: I had an impacted wisdom tooth and an abscess. I was treated within 20 minutes. The dentist told me I couldn't feel anything (I could) and didn't wait long enough for the anaesthetic to work (it can take longer if the person is anxious and their adrenaline is high). The dentist left before I even rinsed afterwards with the dental hygienist giving me post op instructions. Terrible healing process, no meds for pain or inflammation prescribed. When I finally got the rest of my wisdom teeth out with another dentist (not here) the process went smoother. I came here for the second time yesterday. I had a crack in a filling and had been in pain for a week, and couldn't wait until my appointment with my own dentist. The dentist spoke to me for a total of 4 minutes after taking an x-ray. I was told I *might* be grinding my teeth, and there was definitely inflammation, possibly an infection and the nerve *might* be exposed, but ultimately only prescribed me with antibiotics. It felt as if I had to prove to him my pain was sufficient for treatment. Beyond spending 200 dollars for a 4 minute appointment, the actual medical record had inaccurate info- AND they prescribed me with an antibiotic I couldn't take as I was allergic to. Both experiences were less than stellar. But, their hours and immediate availability are much needed.

Fantastic experience: May god bless all the dentist who works here. On Thanksgiving weekend when all the clinics were closed, they treated me. I was in severe severe pain and couldn't even open my mouth as I had a huge swelling all over my face and throat. They treated me same day and helped me get relieve from my wisdom tooth. They were quick and friendly. This was the first time in my life I went for a surgery and they made me comfortable and were too sweet with me. They made sure that I was at ease and not scared. If I could rate them more than 5 star I would have done that too.

Fantastic experience: Amazingly quick access to the doctor with fantastic resolution to the dental emergency. Clear instructions regarding next steps, email summary for family dentist and a welcoming atmosphere from the very beginning thanks to a lovely receptionist! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: During the Xmas holiday, I was in enormous pain. One lower tooth was loose and an absess had formed. I called my Dentist's office. They were on holiday until the next week. But with foresight, they left the number for emergencies. I called at 8:00am and was seen at 9:30am. The clinic took me immediately. I was treated extremely well by everyone and thank them for their help, respect and compassion. I hope I won't need their help anytime soon but I am so glad they were there for me when I needed them.

Fantastic experience: Dr Heinola was incredible - I was in and out within 10 minutes for a wisdom tooth extraction. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and most of all, impressive. I would highly recommend for anyone in need of emergency dental work!

Fantastic experience: Went there Sunday morning after a sleepless night caused by wisdom tooth. Admitted quickly. Took an X-ray and was referred to a surgeon. Costed me 245$. They did give me prescription and claim form for my insurance.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to thank Dr. Hilary for assisting me. I accidently broke one of my front teeth. I called few places and this emergency dental clinic was open. Dr. Hilary was gracious, listened and did a great job. I appreciate her help.

Fantastic experience: We took Uber Green to get there in the rain and the driver kindly made a Uturn upon request to get to the other side, our collapsible tall Trillium Evolution walker fit perfectly into his trunk which had already been laid out with padding to keep it in place-arrive safely to a walker friendly location on the main floor, well marked btw with a red and white sign! Lady at the front desk was efficient and well put behind plexiglass window! Everyone courteous and the questionnaire form for a new patient was short and sweet, not long and too personal, like Princess Margaret centre who asked ethnicity questions and religion stuff and got my height wrong... Everyone at this dental emergency service was good, and I saw old friends and friendly family and good honest dental technicians, and a welcoming calming spirit! I sat on my husband's walker seat to wait because it is more comfy and taller than the orange chairs provided but I am sure they were fine and my spouse sat on them. I liked this dental emergency clinic very much and it only cost $200 to get a whole appointment today right away-I mean Saturday December 29th, 2024, in the rain and snow and slush! That is a big deal! Excellent secretarial staff! I think my husband had an infection because our regular dentist could only see him by 3/4 of the month away of January 2025, so this is why we had to go to a different clinic...January 20th is his appointment booked for Rosedale Dental clinic-too long to wait for him, so this is why that... They offered that he could have his tooth, pulled, but I think he is in NO shape for surgery at all, and they agreed, so he was sent with a referral for drugs-antibiotics and pain killers, which we filled at the so nice people at the shoppers drug mart within walking distance of the dental clinic! Very nice service there and I even met someone who looks alot like Kevin Spacey who was dealt a very short hand by the looks of it by the media once again-oh well, us Canadians benefit from our polite policies yay! Thank you and we hope not to see you again lol! But I may come by too because I have been sitting on more chipped teeth, this time molar, because after I got a 4th booster moderna shot, I got more chipped teeth...My husband too I noticed his front tooth chipped slightly after this appointment??? Was this from the tube, or was it chipped prior, or is it also again from over-vaccinations by medical staff? Not sure, oh well, ebb and flow, you take some you lose some...Happy holidays, bye!

Fantastic experience: Staff were very friendly and highly efficient. The dentist and dental assistant were very skilled and thoroughly explained everything about the procedure and follow-on care very clearly. I was amazed by how great a job they did and how quickly they accomplished it.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE Super vague over the phone about the price of service.but told me the minimum to see dentist. My issue was ortho job which they simply don’t do anymore. Because I was able to get treated for THE SAME service 3 years prior at the same emergency dental clinic. But 3 years later they no longer do that and charged me $160 just to see the dentist who WAS NOT able to fix my problem only temporary. On top of that they didn’t send my receipt for insurance I had to call back next day and up until now still haven’t received it

Fantastic experience: I was in a serious jam. Hosting a Reception for 40 people, I needed to be in fine form. That morning some of my temporary teeth loosened and came out. I couldn't talk properly, I couldn't smile at all. I needed help. Luckily I found Dental Emergency Services. Within an hour I was in their offices. An hour later I was out with my smile intact! I had an amazing Reception and everything turned out perfectly. LAST THING – Andrew H, the dentist, was amazing. The staff were courteous and empathetic and patient. This place is the real deal. Fantastic experience: I lost my two front teeth in a bike accident - my dental office recommended this place. I immediately went. I was beyond freaked as a 24 year old who went through years of braces. While in the Uber, I called ahead and I was just amazed by everything after. The lady who answered was so competent and reassured me I’d be okay. She took my information and was ready for my arrival. The Doctor, Andrew, was phenomenal. He was so clear, direct, and friendly. He put temporary teeth in. They looked incredible. It made me feel so much better about the situation knowing I looked like myself and well… not toothless. He gave me clear instructions on what to do next. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Hopefully I’ll never need to visit again, but if I have another freak accident, I’m going here.

Fantastic experience: Excellent and prompt care, well-informed dentist who explained everything clearly. (I did not have any procedures done, so I can’t evaluate that side of the practice, but I felt confident in the staff I interacted with.)

Fantastic experience: Excellent, thorough care. The dentist treated my infection, took time to explain the implications of the X-rays and possible courses of action and referred me back to my own dentist with accompanying records from this appointment.

Fantastic experience: I was in horrible pain, ive had alot of dental work; dental work makes me nervous. The The dentist was professional and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry. He was not pushy about what needed to be done, but very factual about what was happening to my two molars and choices I'd have to fix the problems. The downside is I had to pay 12$ parking because the minimum you can park is 3hrs. Although because I felt the dentist was very competent, I would go again for sure.

Fantastic experience: I have visited this location on two separate occasions, years apart. The reception staff have been accomodating and welcoming–both on the phone and in-person–both times. During my most recent visit, Dr. Heinola was both professional and kind; explaining the different prospective actions that could be taken to address my emergency. I would strongly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of emergency dentistry.

Negative experience: This was by far my worst dental experience. They charged me $380 for a 'temporary filling' that was just pla-doh, that fell out the minute I left. Worst dental practice in the city by far. Avoid at all costs. They also don't work with insurance, not sure if they've been black listed.

Negative experience: If there is a zero star option, I would use it. Called on Sunday night after 5 hours at emergency at Sick Kids for my 10 year old lower jaw expander which came off with metallic bit (spring and screws). They told us they aren't equipped to help but gave us the number for this clinic. Spoke the the receptionist. Very rude and unprofessional. At the time of the call, I had 30 minutes to arrive at the clinic from the emergency department before they close. I told them I an going to try my best (recognizing traffic etc). I was told there was no try (in a very patronizing way) - either you come by 30 minutes or they don't bother entertaining the idea of seeing my son. A few minutes prior, the receptionist spoke to my wife in the same manner - she was told to put the phone down and run (again the tone was patronizing, condescending and rude). What a terrible way to speak to your potential patient/client.

Fantastic experience: Last night my husband had a dental emergency and we visited the clinic. The service was incredibly efficient, fast, and of very high quality. The staff were some of the nicest and most helpful people we have ever encountered in a healthcare setting. They made sure my husband was comfortable throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to take care of him. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone needing urgent dental care. Exceptional service and professionalism! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Only I could crack a molar while eating a squishy chicken nugget from McDs. It has been that kind of year. Doing so at 3PM on a Saturday, even worse. My regular dentist is no longer open on weekends -- but they provided a referral to Dental Emergency Services on their outgoing phone messages. Called DES, got through immediately, friendly greeting, scheduled for an appointment for 6:30PM that day -- awesome. Only $4 to park in Green P nearby on weekends! (Also TTC accessible.) Nicest staff. Wow. Dr. MacLean and her assistant were able to extract the busted piece of tooth, patched me up with a temporary filling, even gave me the remains of my nugget-ized molar as a souvenir. Actual repair was painless, quick. I was provided with a detailed report to provide to my regular dentist on what was done, and options for repair vs extraction discussed. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: New to dental pain, I suffered for 10 days as my dentist evaluated my broken tooth without treatment. No longer able to stand the pain I called Dental Emergency Services on Friday night and was offered an appointment the next morning. The staff, nurses and Dr. Andrew Heinola listened, assessed and treated my broken tooth in less then the TTC free transfer window. I am eternally grateful for the the service they provide. I hope I never need to see them again under these circumstances but they'd be my first call if I did. I finally feel like myself again. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Developed tooth pain the day before I was leaving for a vacation which also happened to be on a holiday so my own dentist's office was closed. Called dental emergency services and had an appointment within 2 hours. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, very professional service. Very thankful they were there!

Fantastic experience: Extremely fast and very helpful. My chipped tooth received a temporary fix in less than an hour. The Dr and assistants were very patient with explaining the procedure and how to proceed with a permanent solution. Also, not as expensive as I expected.

Fantastic experience: I was impressed with quality of service. I phoned in the morning and had an appointment for early afternoon. I was triaged by nurse within 10 minutes of appointment time then waited another 20 minutes before being seen by dentist who quickly assessed what was required. Professional and friendly attitude by all staff.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, I’ve had to go to this place 2 times now due to a weekend tooth issue. BOTH times they have been amazing. All staff are great and I have had nothing but positive experiences with reception, hygienist, and dentists themselves. They are caring and attentive and all staff are aware that anyone that shows up there is in either severe pain or at the very least, with serious discomfort. You pay cash or visa/ debit because they do not direct bill to insurance companies. But before you leave, they will give you all proper paperwork so you can personally send the claim to insurance company. Definitely my go to place if need weekend/ after hours dental care.

Fantastic experience: Review for Dental Emergency Services at 1650 Yonge Street Nothing including the décor has really changed in the past 25 years. This clinic is about dentistry not the décor and their prices are quite reasonable for emergency services even though they include a billing surcharge for the emergency which every emergency clinic does. Dr. Bleeman saw me and is an excellent dentist. He is highly proficient, creative when solving dental issues and professional in his demeanour. He will be direct when discussing your dental concerns and makes you feel that you are understood and cared for. Administrator Cornelia helped me get there at a convenient time when I called and I was seen in less than an hour from the time I called. She was very pleasant to deal with. At that time, I was introduced to Dr. Bleeman’s assistant Connie who was also pleasant, gentle when taking x-rays and very able at assisting the doctor. I rate my experience as five stars and when needed, will only go to Dental Emergency Services at 1650 Yonge Street

Fantastic experience: I was able to get an appointment within 2 hours calling. The clinic is centrally located, the staff were very pleasant, they did an X-ray and the dentist did the assessment. They made a diagnosis disband provided a clear treatment plan. This is a brilliant service to be able to get on an emergency basis.

Fantastic experience: Was able to get an appointment on short notice. The staff was very efficient and also friendly. The Doctor explained my situation concisely and wasted no time doing what was needed. I have No complaints whatsoever!

Fantastic experience: My husband visited Dental Emergency Services on Sun July 6, 2024. I was able to get him a same day appt right away. The office staff were friendly and caring and the dentist was great. We will be using their service again and highly reccomend this clinic to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I went in disgruntled, miserable, and in pain. They are amazing. even though I was wrong, they humored my attitude and helped. I'm forever grateful. Had a pulled molar, 24 hrs later no pain, no blood, no discomfort, no swelling. Really, no pain at all. minor discomfort for first 16 hrs or so. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: It was worth the 50 minute drive. I got an appt within 2hrs of my dental issue (late on a Saturday night). The receptionist was so friendly; he even gave me advice on the best place to park. The office had the same equipment as my dentist's office. The dental assistant listened to my concerns and relayed to the dentist without me asking, which was great. The dentist walked me through everything that she was doing, getting consent to proceed at each step. Saved the day!

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with Dental Emergency services. They were kind, fast, and professional. On May 28 I had to use their services. The previous night my tooth cracked and it turned out my dentist was on vacation. When I called their office, I was met with very kind and helpful receptionist. She gave me all information I needed including the parking situation around their offices, and invited me to come over whenever I could as I believe they are open 24/7. Young is a busy street. But I found out there’s plenty of free parking space on streets at the back of the building. When I arrived, I was met with friendly, smiling face of the receptionist. I was taken care of right away. The dental assistant took an x-ray of the broken tooth. The doctor showed up right after, and secured the tooth with a temporary filling. I didn’t feel a thing. The service was so quick and professional. Afterwards I’ve received the receipt, an insurance claim form, and a copy of my x-ray in e-mail. It helps to have extended dental insurance that will cover some part of the $380 cost through. Paying the bill is the part that no one enjoys I guess. Anyways, the temporary feeling held very well until yesterday, June 4th when I had it taken care permanently by my dentist. I felt well taken care of. Thank you.

Negative experience: Tired to try and help my friend with a wisdom tooth removal and the receptionist was extremely rude and hostile, wish I could give 0 stars as someone is having a medical emergency and this lady said “ I’ve talked to you enough” and hung up on her while my friend has her nerve exposed, thank god there are other place but I pray this woman has better days or finds a new profession as speaking to people should not be in her cards. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. And from reading the other reviews it has been brought to my attention they do not care about their image nor reputation as multiple reviews about their disrespectful receptionist as well as the owner either not caring about their patients or how their staff treats people in need OR blatantly not reading reviews and thanking people for their "awesome review" under valid concerns . It is extremely disappointing to see such little patient care, and so much lack of awareness shame on this office and these people.

Negative experience: Today I called in because I’m experiencing the worst tooth pain of my life. I was crying due to the pain and the receptionist on the phone at 2:26pm today (Wednesday May 29) was the most unprofessional and rude person I’ve ever spoken to. She asked me how I got this number and proceeded to tell me she doesn’t know why I would be given this number. I explained the best I could about my situation, I was told I was never a patient there( never said I was), they don’t accept insurance(I was asked if my insurance was my own and where was it from), and that I could call anywhere in Ontario and they would tell me regardless of my (unexpected)emergency I need to book an appointment first so they can get the X-rays. I told her I just need to know if I can come in and if the teeth can be taken out today due to already having a referral for the removal from a different clinic and this being the 4th office I called. The receptionist then proceeded to berate me about where the referral was from and how I can’t expect them to take the teeth out without knowing the issue. I asked the receptionist if she spoke to all clients like this. Her response was I’ve been on the phone with you too long and then hung up on me. To be in the middle of a medical emergency and have someone speak to me like this is unacceptable. Truly disgusting behaviour and attitude for an emergency center

Fantastic experience: I never thought that having to go to an emergency dental clinic for a toothache would be a painless and enjoyable experience, but Dr. Adamo Sgro and the delightful staff at the clinic proved me wrong. I was able to get an appointment on extremely short notice and was treated with kindness and dignity during my appointment. I also witnessed their interactions with other patients and was quite impressed. I highly recommend this service.

Fantastic experience: I was in terrible and constant pain on Sunday but was reluctant to see anyone except my own dentist. Of course, my dentist does not work on the weekends or on legal holidays. Dental Emergency Services was recommended on my dentist’s intake voice message. I thought I could hold out until Tuesday when my dentist’s office would be open, but I couldn’t as the pain was so bad, so I made my way to Dental Emergency Services. I am fearful of all dental work, Including that with my own dentist, even though I absolutely trust her, and have total confidence in her. So, going to a strange place, and having a stranger do work on me, was very scary, to say the least. I have to say from the moment I spoke with Harvey over the phone, who very kindly and gently kept reassuring me to the point where I was seen by Dr. Kong, including having Ann and Nardo (not sure if I’m spelling her name properly) assisting and taking x-rays, the entire experience was just wonderful! The staff are complete professionals who understand that many people (like myself) come in very frightened and unsure, are dealt with in a very accepting kind and thoughtful manner. I felt like we were family when I left. I would highly recommend Dental Emergency Services to anyone who has a medical emergency. I am very grateful to them.

Fantastic experience: I came here last night to fix my retainer because it became loose. The bond that held it in place broke, and the annoying wire was moving in the inside of my teeth. I panicked because it’s the long weekend and didn’t want to wait a few days since my teeth would shift in this time, and the wire was hanging. Thankfully I found this emergency dental clinic!!! Omg they are open after hours, and they actually answered the phones too. No machine, real people! The staff are amazing, very helpful, and I didn’t wait long at all. I didn’t know what to expect for a last minute emergency place, but I’m grateful and very happy! Thank YOU!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly, caring atmosphere! I called about my mom’s situation and receptionist briefed me over the phone on all the details. Appointment was booked for same day…I was so impressed, I asked about my own small medical emergency and was accepted. Very fast service, were in and out in 1 1/2, very thorough explanations of all the work that was done. Will recommend to my family.

Fantastic experience: This is the 1 st time we were going to this clinic as an emergency patient. They have been very helpful, doctor and assistant were so nice and myself also helped them to fix the issue. So glad that they working 7 days a week, appreciate for that. It was challenging patient for them too. Thanks for the all staff front desk as well. So happy that my daughter is fine now.

Fantastic experience: Professional and prompt service. I was able to get an appointment the same day and was seen quickly by a dentist who resolved my issue within 15 minutes on a Saturday evening. Very grateful for that!

Fantastic experience: It may seem odd to say that my visit to the emergency dentist was great, but it was. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and professional that the news about my broken tooth was just fine. Okay, it really hurts and all but finally learning why it hurts was a huge relief. It is my sincere hope that you never have to use the service, but if you need emergency dental help this is the place. Thank you to all who helped me.

Fantastic experience: Service from reception, nurses and Dr Vasquez was absolutely excellent. Fast, listened to all of our concerns, were able to identify the problem and come up with the best course of action. Very knowledgeable and professional. Fantastic experience: I went to Dental Emergency Service at 1650 Yonge as I had a sore tooth after chewing down on a cooked beet on the weekend. I had immediate pain that didn’t go away. When I entered the clinic, it was immaculate and the receptionist/admin was warm and super friendly. I saw Dr. Bleeman who was kind, gentle and efficient. X-rays were quickly taken and it was determined that I would need a root canal. I was happy to hear this as I thought I might lose the tooth. He provided a prescription and a referral to an Endodontist. I highly recommend this clinic especially if it’s the weekend. I couldn’t get into my dentist until late afternoon and it was a relief to see a dentist within an hour of calling them. Can’t say enough! Highly recommend to anyone in dental pain and can’t get to their dentist.

Negative experience: Not recommended, very unprofessional. I did not have pleasant experience. They told me they will charge me $160 for x-ray and examination. x-ray took 2 minutes. And the doctor examined for about 5 minutes. Then told me you need to see an actual dentist. When I came to the front they said I need to pay $380. I am not saying they are expensive. They need to tell their patients before they charge. I was told $160 and was charged $380 for doing nothing. The doctor could have told me you need to go to a different place we don’t do the actual treatment here.

Fantastic experience: I've had great experiences both times I've been to this clinic. Everyone has been kind and helpful, no one has ever tried to upsell me on things I don't need, and the atmosphere is incredibly chill considering it's an emergency clinic with walk-ins.

Fantastic experience: We were so appreciative of an available dentist on a Friday! My daughter had a wire come loose on her braces and the dentist was so quick, efficient, knowledgeable and caring. They were upfront about the cost and everyone in the office was welcoming and friendly. My daughter was instantly relieved and the weekend was saved! Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Split my tooth on an olive pit called and had an appointment right away. Thought I was going too lose the tooth. 30 minutes later I'm out of the chair and my tooth was saved. It took me a few but I remembered. I had been at this office years before when I again split my fronts playing hockey. Again they saved my teeth. If it's an emergency this is the place to go. Friendly staff and Great Dentists. I'm be back, I know it. :)

Fantastic experience: I was fortunate enough to visit Dental Emergency Services today and had my veneer cemented in a timely manner. I am very grateful. It was an emergency and with the following day being the Good Friday with all clinics closed, it had to get it sorted as soon as possible. All other 3 dental offices I visited earlier today gave me appointments for next week and further, and those appointments were for examinations to begin with, without even a guarantee of a cure. Dental Emergency Services were very helpful. They cared. I was also informed that they even work on holidays. They are open everyday. It can be a lifesaver. I can recommend after my experience with them.

Fantastic experience: No pictures to share about my visit to the Emergency Dental Services clinic last night. I was in far too much pain to do so! But from the moment I walked in the front door and met the exceptionally friendly and compassionate receptionist, to being introduced to my wonderful DR, I knew I was in caring, patient, and knowledgeable hands. Sorry I didn’t get the correct spelling of the doctor’s name (Dr Resiel)?, but she was so incredibly sincere in walking me/talking me through what my issue was, and a positive game plan going forward! Fantastic experience: I always get bad anxiety when being in any medical setting. As soon as i walked in here i was amazed at how amazing the service is. You can really tell all the workers genuinely care about the patients and eachother! You can tell what a family they are to eachother which then makes me feel very warmed and welcomed. The process was quick and easy and though with my terrible anxiety the doctor and assistant made me feel so calm and safe if i could give more then 5 start i would. Thank you so much for helping me!

The staff was just lovely, my appt was on time(no waiting!!!) and the dentist diagnosed and treated my problem thoughtfully and with care. The dental assistant laid a gentle, reassuring hand on my shoulder as the dentist worked. A small but hugely appreciated gesture. His clinical notes and X-ray arrived in my inbox before I got home. Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office was cheerful and kind. The whole process is so efficient and user friendly. Given that I and most people are there for an emergency, it’s calming to have such a convivial environment. Doctor Steele was on call the day I went in. I had a broken tooth, and it was a tricky break, but I felt heard and the doctor got it all done with ease. I usually get jaw pain from dentist visits, (that’s where I hold my tension, so not really anyone else’s fault) but nothing hurt this time. That’s how stress free. It was genuinely a great experience. And if you knew how much going to the dentist makes me stressed on a normal visit, you’d know that’s saying something.

Positive experience: Accessibility and booking were excellent--same day appointment on short notice, so that was great. The service itself was efficient and professional. However, they wanted to do an X-Ray BEFORE I was seen by the dentist. I view that as a cash grab, exposing patients (potentially) to unnecessary radiation. There was no informed consent process--no one explained the risks vs. benefits of an X-Ray. How is a technician going to know if an X-Ray is necessary, and which tooth (if any) should be X-Rayed? Sometimes you need a sinus X-Ray, not an X-Ray of a tooth. I view the whole X-Ray thing as below the standard of best practice.

Fantastic experience: This place was great. The dentist I saw was so gentle -- I experienced no pain whatsoever. She took the time to talk me through what was going on before, during and after the assessment and procedure. Dental emergencies can be unnerving, but everyone from the person at the front desk to the technician and then dentist were wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: So grateful to the team at Dental Emergency Services & Dr Andrew Heinola - who helped me with my immense tooth pain during the holiday rush! I called at 9 am on a Thursday & was in at 11:30 am for an appointment. Dr. Heinola quickly assessed the issue, presented me with my options & extracted my tooth so quickly & painlessly! He also did a great job of explaining the issue to me & how to take care post the extraction. The front desk staff was also great! I’m so glad I found this spot & was able to get in for their quick & wonderful service.

Positive experience: Great service, very quick and efficient, with polite and helpful staff. The dentist and his assistant were very professional and were eager to answer any questions I had. (IMHO, I think the emergency diagnostic fee they charge is a bit high, but I imagine all of the emergency clinics charge this for the convenience of the service they provide).

Negative experience: I had a really disappointing experience at this dental facility. The receptionist was extremely unprofessional and rude, displaying a level of disrespect that was completely uncalled for. It's disheartening when the first point of contact is so unwelcoming. Moreover, the waiting time was incredibly long. I understand that there might be unforeseen circumstances, but waiting for an extended period without any updates or consideration for my time was frustrating, to say the least. Overall, the lack of professionalism and the disregard for patients' time at this facility was truly disappointing. It's important for any service-oriented business, especially in healthcare, to prioritize respect and efficiency. Unfortunately, this experience fell short on both fronts.
