Negative experience: My wife and I were patients at McCabe dental office for 6 years. We switched offices because my wife and I were working full time/shift work and we went to another office due to location and hours of operation. My wife called back this past week to see if we can book our recall exams and cleaning with them. We do have insurance and was gone less than 36 months since we have been at McCabe. ( insurance will cover a new patient exam once every 36 months). The first receptionist laughed at me after I she asked me where we went and said “how did you make out there”! I did not appreciate that as a professional she should not be saying negative comments of other dental offices in the community for whatever her personal reasons were. She said the manager will call me back. She did, I was told we would be treated like new patients and would have to start all over again. I explained that we have been 2 years since we were at McCabe and our insurance would not cover it again so soon. Then the manger told my wife they were booking so far out to go back to our dentist that we just saw. She explained that we wanted to return as her job has changed. Her reply was this - “despite the adds on the radio that they were NOT taking any new patients at this time and we should look elsewhere”. I should say that I went every 3 months for cleaning of my teeth and my wife was 6 months. My wife had a a large filling replaced after it fell out and a crown done at the office. We paid for our appointments and we were never late or cancelled wth them. Yet the manager was going by her rules and refusing us as patients. My wife and I were very disappointed needless to say. So IF you are looking for a new dentist I was told they are not taking on any New Patients. So keep looking around and don’t bother calling McCabe as you won’t be able to book an appointment. Needless to say we won’t be returning to McCabe due to the way the receptionist spoke to might wife as well as the office manager saying that they are not taking on new patients at their office. Funny as their website says they are and so is the radio. Where is the truth in all this?

McCabe to fits the bill - Dr Rory & Dr Liz are personalable, professional and thorough, their staff fabulous, the technology high end, and the clinic is beautiful. They already had all of my past files, and they direct billed my insurance. AND, you can communicate by text! Easy and lovely.

Positive experience: Overall good practice. Doesn't take insurance payment instantly though which is the unfortunate part. I think that the dentist and staff need to talk to the client more instead of to each other about how the health of your teeth are.

Fantastic experience: I was seeing a dentist in Belleville for many years while I lived and worked there. Even though I've been retired and living in Kingston for the last ten years, I elected to continue as the service had been decent and with family and friends in the area, the commute was still a viable option. That was until I had repeated and significant problems with a crown and I knew it was time to make a change. After checking with friends, family and related professionals for recommendations, enter McCabe Family Dentistry. 1. It all starts at reception. Michelle has got your back both coming and going. She is friendly, professional, efficient and goes above and beyond to make sure the appointments, billing and insurance run as smooth as absolutely possible. 2. Tammy the dental assistant is friendly, knows her stuff and works seamlessly with the dentist. You certainly continue to feel as if you are in good hands. 3. Then there is Liz the dentist. This is of course where the rubber meets the road. You can have all the warm fuzzies, on the phone, in the waiting room and on the way in but if it ain't happenin' in that reclining chair, it ain't happenin'! lol. Liz went over all of my dental history on the first visit and together we came up with a plan moving forward. All concerns were discussed with patience and understanding. Love the technology. Option for head phoned music, Netflix on an overhead screen, dental imaging screened in front and a scanner for implanted crowns to make the debacle in Belleville seem like a bad dream. If at any point there was a fork in the road for my treatment, Liz always elected to go the extra mile, including less expensive options. For some, the dentist chair can be an uncomfortable spot to hang out. Perhaps it's financial. Perhaps the atmosphere is not warm and welcoming. Perhaps it has to do with anticipated pain. Or perhaps it's just not understanding treatment options and a clear path forward. McCabe in my mind has it nailed. 5 Stars all the way!

I had to get an implant and crown done recently and the dentist took extra precaution because there was a complication. I was confident in the decision made by the dentist, in regards to the best route to go and happy to say I’m very pleased with how smoothly it all went and my front tooth looks so natural! I’ve recommended this office to family and friends and they’ve said they’re happy they made the move to this office as well. Whether it be cleanings, dental work or help at the front desk, all of them have been amazing and welcoming, so I highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentists! The office is clean and bright and their staff, as well as the dentists are polite, very friendly and professional. I've dealt with tremendous anxiety at the dentist throughout my life. Dr Liz actually makes me want to go to there, which is frankly, something I never believed possible. She's extremely kind and compassionate and I never feel like I'm putting her out by having anxiety, as several other dentists have. During procedures, the fact that they offer nitrous oxide is a game changer for me, and I'm sure many others. Just having a dentist who cares and understands that you're anxious is comforting. They're outstanding and I'll continue to go there for decades to come. If you're nervous at the dentist's, this is where you need to go. Take it from me.

Dr Rory and Dr Liz care about their patients and do everything they can to keep them comfortable. I brought my Mom here whom had major dental anxiety and she was treated with respect and all her questions were answered. It made what could've been an uncomfortable appoint go very smoothly.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist office around. They are incredible skilled, attentive, and gentle. I've never had to once return due to pain or a fix after leaving. The front desk staff are incredible personable and knowledgeable and we're able to explain and answer all questions regarding insurance. The office is aesthetic and comfortable. 100/10, id give more than 5 stars if possible. Huge commendation to every member of their team. Oh did I mention you can watch Netflix and have the chair provide a comfortable soothing massage while work is being done? It's 2024... is there anything better than that?!

Fantastic experience: I needed to be seen before the holidays for an oral surgeon referral. Michelle at front desk was super friendly and was able to fit me in same day. Mindy was assisting with Dr Lisa McCabe for my visit. Both were very easy to talk to and made me feel like they were there to listen to me and address my concerns rather than sell me services, which is something I find a lot of other dental offices do. I am nervous due to experiences with bad dentistry, but I didn’t feel that at this office and I will definitely go back for my routine exams and cleanings. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a dentist in this area.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist service, right from managing the booking process (just the right number of electronic reminders), to reception, to hygienist services, to dental options, to treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had been having some pain around a back tooth on one side of my mouth. Since I was in the area, I stopped by the dental office and asked for an appointment to have the dentist look at the tooth. Fortunately there was an open spot in 45 minutes, so I did an errand and returned. An examination and x-ray revealed the problem. A clear explanation was given and the suggested treatment discussed. I was very happy and impressed with the experience.
