Fantastic experience: Fantastic service, quick to get through the procedure and pretty much painless. This was my third visit, the receptionist are quick to check you in, they recognize who you are. They have the billing and appointments all ready to go once you appointment is completed. Highly recommended this dentist office!!

Fantastic experience: I was in today to get a crown put in. The process was explained to me step by step. Answered all the questions I had. Appointment started right on time and I was out within 40min.

Fantastic experience: My visit to Dawson Dental today was a very positive experience. Mitaly the dental hygienist thoroughly, gently and patiently cleaned and polished my teeth. While in the chair, Dr. Shandana came in to check my teeth and answer my questions concerning chronic dental issues. I felt informed and reassured with her explanations. Unexpectedly, a crown popped off during the cleaning process. Although Dr. Shandana was extremely busy, she availed herself to glue the crown back in place. I really appreciate the care I consistently receive at Dawson Dental on Queen Street, Kingston.

In this instance I broke a filling and they were able to see me very quickly due to a cancelation. The dentist not only fixed my tooth - she also took the time to explain what she was doing and to answer my questions.

The effort they put into creating a comfortable environment in the office really shows. They are also trans-friendly, with staff easily adjusting language and communications, often without my prompt (thank you ). They accept the Canadian dental plan coverage too! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Excellent! I had 5 teeth extracted this morning. I'm sorry, I don't remember the names of my personal angels but they were amazing. It's only been a couple of hours since the procedure but I am comfortable, pain free, and waiting eagerly to have something to eat! (well, actually to drink...) The whole gang at Dawson are amazing.

Fantastic experience: I received a thorough treatment, on time and cheerfully delivered. My appointment time was moved up a couple of hours earlier, at my request, only 3 days in advance.

Negative experience: We had an appointment with them and the personel who attended us were completely unprofessional and didn’t know how to do their job properly. Not only they made my mother’s tooth extraction extremely painful they also knocked out another tooth that was not to be touched and the so called doctor was not taking responsibility for the broken tooth. They said that if the extraction was painful they will add more freezing but they did not. The doctor also penetrated the skin tissues of my mother’s throat as the tools kept slipping his hands and now it’s infected. The doctor also penetrated kept singing songs and literally dancing on the chair he was sitting on. The doctors name is Vankawala Harsh FYI. the worst dentist experience of our entire life. Don’t recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: Dr Harsh was careful to explain the procedure (Crown) each step of the way. He apologized twice for running 15 minutes behind. His receptionist greeted me by name and told me he was running 15 minutes behind. This consideration is appreciated. The staff is friendly and professional and carefully explained the billing process to me.

This week I had to have a cavity filled and, as someone with a needle phobia, I was not looking forward to it. Everyone was very accommodating making the entire procedure a smooth painless process. Fantastic experience: Dr. Shandana is a lovely and kind dentist who does excellent work, and does a good job at making you feel comfortable if you are anxious. I was sad to lose my regular hygienist Amanda because she was so wonderful. That being said, the techs and hygienists I have had since, have been so kind and skilled as well. The dental assistant (?) that helped with a recent procedure I had was a literal Saint. My husband and mother are clients here too and are also happy with the practice. I particularly appreciate the text message reminders.

Fantastic experience: I never enjoy going to the dentist and having a tooth extracted is always traumatic. Dr. Shandana as always, talked me through the procedure giving me all the information I needed. It was a complicated extraction and thankfully pain-free. The icing on the cake though, was the girls coming out to boost our car’s battery! My husband had run it down listening to the radio while waiting for me. I’m sorry, didn't get your names in my dazed state! I have been to many dentists in my life and would recommend Dawson to anyone.

They promptly accomodated an appointment and assessment and later that day arranged for dentist to extract the tooth.
