Fantastic experience: My first visit to this dental clinic went very well. I am going to be telling all my friends what a nice place to go. Friendly efficient front desk staff. Felt welcomed and the sitting area is set up for covid 19 spacing which I liked. Dr Lozowski is amazing at putting you at ease and explains all the options for your dental problems. I could tell that he is a caring person who enjoys his job helping people with their dental needs. It is wonderful that he is taking part in the senior dental program that many of us need.

The hygienist was absolutely superb—patient, skilled, and successful in caring for both of them. They left happy and completely at ease about future visits. Truly an A+ experience.

Clean clinic, friendly atmosphere, and the dentist/hygienist explained everything clearly. The only small challenge is that booking an appointment can take some time due to high demand. This really reflects how trusted and popular the clinic is. Hopefully, additional appointment availability can be considered in the future.

Negative experience: Disappointing experience – Lack of patience and questionable billing practices. I’ve had two very frustrating visits here with my toddler. Six months ago, despite providing my son’s age (2.7 years) and dental history upfront, the dentist refused to examine him, stating they "don't treat children under 3." However, they still billed my insurance ($100+)—half of which was for a "brushing demonstration" that was entirely ineffective for a child that age. We returned today for a follow-up. Dr. Sura Hadad attempted a scan using a nitrogen mask. When my 3-year-old became understandably frightened by the mask, the doctor gave up after only 30 seconds. I requested 5–10 minutes to calm my son so we could try again, but was told the doctor refused and we should just "come back in 6 months." It feels like this clinic is more interested in quick turnover and billing insurance than actually providing patient care or having the patience required for pediatric dentistry. If you have a young child, I would recommend going elsewhere where the staff has the time and empathy to work with toddlers. WARNING TO ALL: Verify your insurance claims at this clinic. ------------------------------ After all the above issue, I was verbally assured by the front desk that I would not be charged. Despite this, I discovered they filed a $55 claim with my insurance anyway. This is a pattern. On a previous visit, they charged over $100 for a simple "brushing demonstration" while refusing to actually examine my son because he was under 3 years old—a fact they knew before I booked. It appears this clinic is more focused on making easy money through insurance claims than having the patience to treat young children. I am currently disputing these charges and have reported this to my insurance provider as "billing for services not rendered". Parents: Please check your insurance statements carefully after visiting this clinic to ensure you aren't being billed unnecessarily

Fantastic experience: Dr.Hadad was efficient, clear and encouraging. Her team was endlessly kind and helpful. My baby got a tongue and lip tie removed and even though I was emotional, the procedure itself was done well and I was well supported.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. The staff was completely disorganized. I arrived on time for my appointment, but they made us wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and then informed us it would take another 30 minutes or more. Throughout this long wait, no one communicated that there would be such a delay. If they had informed us earlier, I could have easily rescheduled for another time. I made time between my work schedule for this appointment, yet the way they treated customers showed a lack of basic courtesy and professionalism.

Negative experience: Went in for my scheduled appointment, waited an hour only to be informed that i will have to wait another hour at least or reschedule, wasted half a day for nothing

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lozowski has been my dentist for 32 years. Even as a child I enjoyed coming to his clinic. Its always neat, tidy and clean. Its a calm environment, which helps people who are a bit more anxious. Which I am, from time to time. Im always greeted by Carol, who has also been the receptionist there for as long as I can remember. My experience always feels personal. Little biased, as this has been my only dentist for 32 years, but that tells you just how great this dental clinic is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: My appointment was last minute and an emergency to relieve the pain I was feeling beneath a filling. Dr. Lozlowski and his team were very professional and helpful and got the pain resolved until I could get back in for a more permanent fix.

Negative experience: Made an appointment in August that was booked for December. Got a confirmation text message in October. Upon calling to confirm the date and time, the receptionist claimed that my appointment was not booked and spoke as if they had no idea what I was talking about. They wasted my time for all those months which is blatantly unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with Clayton park dental. First, after x-ray was done(15-20mins), they kept me waiting for half an hour until the dentist came to check up my -X-ray and did the cleaning. That delay caused me to get back to work late for half an hour. Second, they charged me four units of time for the cleaning(40mins), which caused me to pay extra $53 about. But actually the cleaning just took about 20mins. I went to see hygienist yearly and each time I was charged just two units of time(20mins). Worst experience! My first time with Clayton Park dental and also the last time !

Everyone was so friendly, professional, and took the time to clearly explain every detail about the dental procedures and costs. (Since my English isn’t very strong, I was really touched that everyone patiently communicated with me using Google Translate ). The receptionists were warm and cheerful. Nurse Surbhi was extremely kind, patient, and explained everything carefully while answering all of my questions. Most especially, Dr. Hadad is highly skilled — she removed my mother’s tooth so gently that my mom didn’t feel any pain at all and couldn’t believe how quickly it was done. Thank you again for such a wonderful and comfortable experience!

Fantastic experience: I recently suffered from severe pulpitis — the pain was unbearable, I couldn’t sleep the whole night, and no painkillers worked. Unfortunately, my regular dentist was out of Halifax for personal reasons. The next morning, my girlfriend found Clayton Park Dental, one of the few clinics that open early, accept new patients, and provide emergency dental care. We rushed there, and I was seen almost immediately. The dentist gave me strong pain relief to stabilize my condition and performed an emergency pulpotomy. And a few weeks after that, I continued and completed my root canal treatment here. They also worked seamlessly with my insurance, requiring no extra effort from me. Honestly, they almost saved my life. I am truly grateful to the entire Clayton Park Dental Team for their professionalism, efficiency, and kindness. Highly recommended!
