She made my son feel calm and comfortable while having work done. He doesn’t leave feeling anxious or nervous afterwards and isn’t hesitant to visit the dentist if extra work has to happen to keep his smile happy and healthy. Happy child, happy mom. Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. They make sure you feel comfortable and safe. I live in Dartmouth but refuse to move to new dentist as the team there is fantastic. If you have any anxiety about going, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: This is a very comfortable and friendly practice. They are knowledgeable and great at what they do. There has never been any berating or trying to force a treatment beyond your comfort zone. If you have questions, they are answered and you're not made to feel bad or even stupid to have asked them. Scheduling reminders can be sent to your cell phone, texting is supported. All in all this is a very up to date, and great place for your dental needs, especially if you are timid about seeing a dentist. UPDATE: They have a new method for cleanings, very gentle, quicker. I highly recommend it. A very accomodating environment.

Positive experience: It was the first time my six-year-old daughter came here 5 years ago. It had a Logo small table in the small corner of the waiting area. The dentist was very kind and the front desk operator was responsible for making appointments. But finally what I was not satisfied with was that the cashier at the front desk added the option item without obtaining my consent in advance, and the final charge was beyond my expectations.

Negative experience: The clinic looks good on the surface until you pay the bill and find out that there is some extra money to pay without being told in advance.You'd better ask before you do the service, otherwise you will be unhappy with your bill. Or don't come here. Charges are a bit harsh unless you don't mind your wallet.I have been to other clinics and found that other places charge much more reasonably than Bedford south Dentistry

Fantastic experience: I'm a very anxiety-ridden person when it comes to the Dentist. This dental clinic and its staff went out of its way to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. No matter what your needs are, they are solution-oriented to make sure that your visit is as stress-free as possible.

Fantastic experience: I first visited Dr. Brothers a month ago after sustaining an injury to my mouth. I needed emergency dental surgery, and Dr. Brothers was quick to assess the situation. She was incredibly kind, thorough in explaining the injury and the required surgery, and made sure I understood the follow-up care I'd need for the coming months. She scheduled the procedure right away, and I’ve been closely monitored by her and her team ever since. While the experience was overwhelming, I truly trust Dr. Brothers and her staff to provide excellent care.

Fantastic experience: Started with Bedford South recently, and it's been a very positive experience so far. I have some minor anxiety and claustrophobia, which makes appointments somewhat difficult. I also have jaw issues requiring me to Jace short appointments. From my new patient exam to my cleaning to my 2 fillings appointment, I've been made to feel that my concerns are valid and not a hassle to them. They've given me some good advice for at home care, and I'm creating good habits as a result. My appointment today was thorough and filled with laughter. I combat all situations with sarcasm and jokes, and Dr. Allison's assistant was perfect for this. Dr. Allison was incredibly patient, quick, and just so friendly and helpful. This has been my first good experience at a dentist ever.

Negative experience: hygienists are very rude and not friendly around kids. Had bad experience with 2 hygienists. Heard them bad mouthing as soon as a patient leaves etc.Have been seeing this behaviour from past few visits. They do offer services without asking and the final bill will be too much.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was very nice and patient and explained everything she was doing every step of the way. They use the latest tech available but comfort is a priority and they will use hand scaling if you don't like the newer stuff. That being said, I hate that sonic water drill but the tool that is even newer is much gentler.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Natalie Brothers for 3 months, but in that short time I have got some relatively big work done… I feel like I’ve been a long-term patient! I’ve had a root canal, crown install and a couple of restorations done. Dr. Natalie is an empathetic and skillful dentist! She was so in tune with my level of comfort and kept me informed of every important step in the process. Her dental assistants, Trina and Bethany are very competent, efficient and kind with a delightful sense of humour! And Janet, her administrative assistant is patient, helpful and efficient – she makes me feel very comfortable with my questions. A friendly and focused team! Their initial oral exam is very thorough and Dr. Natalie prepares a treatment plan with a suggested order of treatment. Even though I had a few big things to be taken care of, I never felt pressured into any treatments. I was also very pleased with their use of new and updated technologies and methods that added to my comfort level. My husband has recently started his treatments there and is very pleased too. I highly recommend Bedford South Dentistry to anyone seeking a dedicated, caring and skilled dental clinic who keeps up with modern technology and methods – you will be in good hands!

Fantastic experience: I recently had bridge work done on my front teeth. I had a Maryland bridge replaced with a Fixed bridge. Dr. Brothers and her team were patient and kind from start to finish. I'm actually happier with the results than I anticipated. The bridge looks natural, and my bite is improved. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a new dentist, or are in need of cosmetic dentistry. I drove from Antigonish to Halifax to have the work done, I feel it was worth it.

Negative experience: Dr. Alison is great but I had several issues with them submitting claims to Sunlife too late after the service date which left me out of pocket for expenses. They also made several erroneous mistakes in submitting claims under my late husband's plan after it had expired. It became increasingly frustrating and difficult to sort out. They don't do direct billing which would have made the experience less cumbersome. Lots of Dentists in HRM offer direct billing. Save yourself the hassle and find one.
