Fantastic experience: It is always great to visit my dentist, Dr A MacDonald. He explains any procedure before he starts. His assistants are wonderful helping to get things all set to begin whatever is planned for each appointment. There is never a struggle with parking. It is always great to see one or more faces behind the reception desk both greet and see me off after my visit. I think it has been since 2014 or 15 that I’ve been going to this practice and although I don’t live close (I’m in Bedford) I love this dentistry facility; I will continue. Dr MacDonald is young and his procedures are current. Also the dental equipment is modern and which is reassuring that I’m in the best care. Everyone is great.

Negative experience: The dentists at this office are genuinely great — skilled, kind, and thorough. I’ve always had positive experiences during my actual appointments and felt well cared for once I was in the chair. However, the front desk experience when dealing with urgent situations is extremely frustrating. When I called with significant mouth pain and explained that I needed to be seen as soon as possible, I was told the next available appointment was two weeks away. It felt like the urgency of my situation was being decided over the phone rather than being taken seriously. Dental pain can escalate quickly, and being told to wait that long while in major discomfort is discouraging. For a practice with such capable dentists, I would hope there would be a better system for handling emergency concerns or at least more understanding when patients call in distress. The clinical care is excellent — but the way emergency requests are handled really needs improvement

Fantastic experience: Dr. Macdonald is absolutely the BEST. It was our first experience and took my 6 yo son to the Clinic for the first time last Wednesday. My son usually goes to IWK Dentistry but needed a cleaning. Devika (dental hygienists) was so friendly and kind. On Friday he fell at school and broke his permanent front tooth ( which he only has it for 2 months ) The Admin lady was so helpful and we were able to see Dr. Macdonald on that afternoon. He was able to glue his broken piece back together. We are forever grateful for their amazing service. That's why I took my daughter there today again for cleaning ( also not a big fan of dentists). Devika cleaned her teeth Dr. Macdonald came at the end. It was a very positive experience. Can't say enough good things about them. We are forever grateful...

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brett and his team fitted me with a new bite plate when my last one finally bit the dust. From start to finish the process was stress free, professional, and efficient. Dr. Brett was very knowledgeable and ensured I got the type of bite plate I’m used to and that it fit me properly. Their use of a scanner vs. traditional molds for fitting the plate was a game changer. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Brett or his team for your all your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to share regarding my wonderful experience I had at Herring Cove Community Dentistry last week. My dental hygienist, Abby was incredibly personable, kind and caring. I have always carried anxiety surrounding the dentist and she made the time that I spent there much easier. She was quick and gentle when preforming my teeth cleaning, and took extra time to go over many different ways to help ease my inflamed gums. I also wanted to highlight how wonderful Dr. Livingstone is. She has been my dentist for as long as I can remember and she always makes a point to check-in on me, not only regarding my teeth but the things that are going on in my life. I’m very grateful for the team behind this wonderful space. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son has some sensory issues and anxiety- today proved to be too much. The hygienist we worked with was phenomenal! She was extremely patient. She showed my son tools being used and explained things. When my son had trouble she was extremely calm and helpful offering choices and options for future visits. Fantastic experience: First time today that I went to the dentist on Herring Cove Road by sobeys the Herring Cove Community dentist what a nice place they had a nice fireplace and I really like that it makes the room people were very very nice the receptionist was very very welcoming and the dentist that looked at my plate was really really nice and so is his assistant very very clean place as well
