Fantastic experience: These docs are extremely professional and helpful. I sought a second opinion from them after my previous dentist was dismissive of my concerns about a possible infection. Citigate confirmed the infection, which was very validating after a year of struggling with swelling and tooth pain. They immediately referred me to a specialist and prescribed antibiotics in the interim. Receptionists were polite and professional and my experience with the doctor here was great. I will definitely return for future dental treatment!

At the clinic, the dentist recommended that I keep the tooth as it was not essential to do it and explained all my options clearly. Patient care was foremost with the clinic and they were very friendly and understanding of my situation.

Negative experience: Not a great customer service experience. The receptionist, Julie, was very rude and unhelpful. She was not willing to provide information in a polite or professional manner, which made the visit quite unpleasant.

Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience at CitiGate Dental. I’m always seen on time and the atmosphere is so bright and friendly. Ashley is an amazing hygienist. She is thorough yet gentle. I never leave with a sore mouth or gums as I have at past dental offices. I really feel well taken care of every visit. My 5 year old loves to go too! After my last visit, and told her that Ashley says hi, she was beaming and wanted to know when she would get to go next ☺️

Dr. Arora has always been wonderful—kind, professional, and truly caring. She helped fix the gap in my teeth and recommended Invisalign, which made a big difference for me. Although I hadn’t seen her for about two years while she was working at the Carleton location, I saw her again recently and was so touched that she still remembered me and asked about my family. From the very beginning, the team at Citigate Dental was professional, transparent, and incredibly caring. Dr. Kamal carefully examined the failed filling and explained why it wasn’t done properly in the first place. The re-treatment process was smooth, pain-free, and handled with great attention to detail. The discomfort I had been experiencing for weeks after the previous filling is now completely gone — I finally feel normal again. Fantastic experience: I easily got appointment of dental cleaning for me and my wife few days back.When visited the clinic,we were warmly welcomed at the Counter by the attending team.Aura of the place is absolutely superb.We were treated by RDH Ramneek who made me comfortable by tuning to my favourite music.She took pics of my teeth which were meant for ' Before and after' use for my satisfaction. Dr R. Arora and other team members are also very caring and responsive.After the full cleaning job, Ramneek explained me the current condition of few cavities and gave tips for ideal oral health. When I saw the perceptible change in my smile through pics,I felt surprised..There is no pain or any other complication till date. I strongly recommend Citigate Dental. Me and my Dad Had our teeth cleaned by one of the finest Dental Hygenists in the area. I really loved how my Hygenist, Ramneek took before and after pictures to show the difference along side the X-rays. I was also educated about my oral health as well as the preventative measures I should be taking which is hardly a case nowdays. They just want you In and Out of their place asap. Met with the Dentist, Dr. Arora who is super professional in what She does but at the same time, very big on Patient Oriented approach. Negative experience: We’ve been patients at Citygate Dental for over four years. Unfortunately, during this time, we’ve noticed a steady decline in the quality and consistency of their service. One of our biggest concerns is the lack of accountability and professionalism. While the clinic has a strict policy of charging patients who cancel or miss appointments without 24 hours’ notice, they do not seem to hold themselves to the same standard. I recently had an appointment that was confirmed well in advance, only to have it canceled by the clinic less than 30 minutes before the scheduled time—without any meaningful explanation or apology. In a more recent visit, I went in for a scheduled filling. However, instead of addressing the intended issue, a substitute dentist worked on entirely different teeth without informing me. I was then told I would need to book yet another appointment to have the actual filling done. This level of miscommunication and lack of transparency is very disappointing. Overall, it increasingly feels like this clinic prioritizes profit over genuine patient care. Given our experiences, we have decided to start looking for another dental provider—one that treats their patients with the respect, care, and professionalism they deserve.

Fantastic experience: New patients at this office. We agree with other positive comments. This review focus is on accessibility for a client confined to a large manual wheelchair. This office is fantastic. Door opener buttons are well placed and obvious. No surface ridges after curb cutout. Doors are wide. Washroom has lots of space and grab bars, and an alarm button. Interior halls are wide enough. Exam rooms are bigger than most. The staff help with the transfer between wheelchair and exam chair. (No mechanical lift.)

Fantastic experience: I recently had an in-office teeth whitening session at Citigate dental and it was AMAZING! I had SO MANY questions to begin with, but the admin staff patiently answered all my concerns without making me feel like a nag. I was a little apprehensive at first, with all the dental anxiety in the world, but Ashley and the hygiene team made me feel at ease throughout! They were thorough, gentle and friendly. Rosalyn kept me informed about the time left for the lights to be switched every now and then. Instructions were clear, both during and after. I had some sensitivity after the procedure, as is normal, but Dr. Kamal advised me how to best tackle it hassle free. All in all, an awesome experience with these amazing people. 10/10 would recommend!

The clinic is properly maintained, from the entrance to the washrooms and patient cubicles. It's evident that the team takes great pride in both their work and their professional environment. Pricing is fairly standard, and billing through insurance is usually seamless. However, I recommend confirming the cost of your treatment after receiving the estimate and reviewing it with your doctor. I didn't do this and ended up paying $6,000 based on an estimate for only 12 Invisalign trays for my daughter, which lasted 2.5 months; despite her treatment being projected to last 8 months. The doctor did not review her profile with me post-estimate. While I trusted that due diligence would be done on my behalf, it’s important to ensure all estimates are verified before proceeding. This is the sole reason for my 4-star rating instead of 5. Overall, I highly recommend Citigate Dental.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency during a tourist trip to Canada (I'm Italian). I stopped by searching on Google, I easily found the place with ample parking in front. I asked at the reception and the staff, with a lot of intelligence and understanding, managed to make an appointment for me after less than 2 hours. I was examined very carefully, with immediate x-rays and a very useful diagnosis and related solution. Positive experience: Making an appointment, filling out new patient forms, and getting up to speed on dental history were simple. Dentist was clear in explaining the procedure, aftercare, and other options for treatment. However, despite advertising their use of nitrous oxide for nervous patients, the dentist seemed taken aback and a little confused by my request to use it for an extraction. The prep was slow despite how simple the procedure was. Assistant didn't seem to know what he was doing. Not outstandingly bad, but won't be going back.

Positive experience: This one is hard to review because the actual dentists and hygienists are great. The dental assistant and admin staff are a complete mess. They repeatedly filed my insurance wrong (they had the wrong number on file due to a typo) for a year so I was out of the submission period, and then I had to pay out of pocket and it was for a bridge so it was quite expensive. Today, the dental assistant kept almost choking me with the suction and resting the full weight of his hand on my mouth. Then not enough time was scheduled for my procedures and someone kept coming in to tell them to hurry up. It was a make up appointment from last April when I showed up and their office was closed when I was supposed to go, and they didn't seem to know exactly what work I needed done. Anyways, the actual work done was great, the hygienists are fantastic, but everything else is a hot mess.

Negative experience: Worst business on planet earth. They canceled my appointment same day just half hour before the appointment. It happened 2 times. So end result is that i am still there where i was one month ago, without treatment. Patient need to cancel the appointment 48 hours advance and they canceled 2 times just 20 minutes before the appointment. Just wasted one month for nothing. These shameless people not even care 1 %. I also wasted my this year dental insurance too, because of theses useless people. Dont go with reviews and take my advise and dont waste your time and money there. Please just stay away and dont even pass at front of this shop.

Fantastic experience: I had a very complex extraction. Dr kamal made it very smooth for me. It took two hours almost to get through. This picture shows one wisdom tooth cut into pieces ( it was a big one) and was finally extracted.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an accident that broke one of my front teeth in half. I immediately called my dental office Citigate in Barrhaven and explained what had happened. I was able to get into see the dentist right away that afternoon to examine the damage and get an X-ray. My dentist there was even willing to stay late on a Friday afternoon to repair my tooth. Luckily I had no pain and I said I’d see her the start of the following week. I would highly recommend Citigate to everyone looking for a clinic.

Fantastic experience: I'm a very nervous and anxious patient so when I went in for my check up after 7, yeah you read that right, years I was petrified. But the staff at Citigate Dental was absolutely amazing! I watched my fav Netflix show while waiting in the Op room. Nelab was amazing with getting me calm for all the x-rays etc. And Dr Avneet Dhaliwal was very attentive and saw my worries and was absolutely wonderful with me. I felt much better after she discussed my treatment plan and what they could do to make the next appointments comfortable and relaxed. I look fwd to going back for my appointments with the best hygienist I hear in town, Roslyn! The lovely ladies at the front managing the office, Rasneet and Sanobar are fabulous too!
