Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the area, I needed a close by dentist, find Yazdani Family Dentistry by chance on social media. Yazdani Family Dentistry by far is the best dental clinic in my long time experience with dental clinics, shout out to Carol, front desk associate, and Afril, dental assistant who were tremendously kind, helpful and friendly, and Dr. Modha exceptionally attentive to my dental needs. Fantastic experience: I spoke with so many receptionist I can’t remember all there names ….. we had an issue with our insurance last week there was a discrepancy with something and it kept making and error and not going through …. As frustrating as it was they were all so kind and patient all the way through. All very wonderful staff there I am so thankful. It is as all fixed and everything worked itself out

My first visit was very thorough and I appreciated the level of information Dr. Patel provided. I feel well served at this office and recommend it if you need a new Dental Office.

Fantastic experience: Your services were outstanding. This was my daughter’s very first dentist appointment, and the staff made it an unexpectedly pleasant experience for her. They anticipated every little detail that could have made things difficult and made sure she stayed happy and comfortable throughout. I highly recommend this dentistry to any parent who’s anxious about their child’s first dental visit.

Negative experience: I am highly disappointed with this clinic. My filling failed within six months, and I was incorrectly charged for the replacement despite a one-year warranty. My wife had a similar experience where a filling failed after only three months. The clinic refused to take responsibility, prioritizing the doctor’s subjective notes over the actual radiographic evidence. I cannot recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Relaxed and genuine atmosphere. Wonderful practice for the whole family. Waiting area has a tree house for children and big comfy seats for adults. Snack bar for all! This practice takes extra steps to make all patients feel welcome and at home.

Negative experience: I had an appointment with Yazdani to clean my teeth. Was told to come on 12th Jan to have it done and they gave me an estimate to pay after insurance (CDCP). But then the hygienist told me i don't have time to clean both the lower and upper teeth today, so i have to book another appointment to do the upper teeth. I said fine so she proceeded to do the lower teeth. When she was finished, she guided me out to the reception to book another appointment, where the receptionist told me "oh i'm sorry CDCP only covers one session a year so you have to pay 240 dollars out of pocket to clean the upper teeth" she said there is nothing i can do for you or i can book you another appointment in 12 months !!!! Even though they had my X-rays fo a week and could easily reschedule me to another appointment where they can do everything in one session. I'm extremely disappointed. Thank you Yazdani for the waste of time and money.

Positive experience: We usually get good service at this clinc. I am giving them 3 stars because some receptionist with attitude was very rude over the phone when it came to billing my insurance. When I got my teeth fixed the clinc offered they can send the invoice by mail so I agreed. Before my second visit this rude receptionist was very disrespectful over the phone, she basically sounded like a collection agency telling me in a very rude way that the insurance didnt reply yet and I have to pay them next time. It was fine by me to pay at the day of the service then claim to my insurance but the clinc offered to send mail to my insurnce so why is she acting so rude as if I took her personal money and ran away!

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to Kanata and had to switch to a new dentist. Reading about how Yazdani gives back to the community, and all of the positive experiences people have had, convinced me to try them out. This office is seriously next level! The waiting room is relaxing, equipped with drinks and snacks and a cozy fireplace with comfy chairs. My hygienist, Lisa, was very calming and made my cleaning feel more like a spa experience. I mean who would say no to a warm blanket (one of several options in their 'comfort menu')! This business is a gold star example of what exceptional patient-first dental care looks like.

Negative experience: I book for appointment for my tooth nerve extraction and the doctor he ask me for another tooth that’s not right to help the client and that’s Second time they do that for me I never go there and the Reception when I call they book me for another tooth

Fantastic experience: We came from Niagara, and not once i had a dentist that I felt comfortable with even since as a child. We moved to Ottawa 2021and came here first time. Within 5 minutes I knew they are now my family dentist for myself, husband and kids! They were amazing with my children and I'm waiting until i can get coverage so i can be a patient!very impressed! Update i finally had my appointment and I felt super comfortable and wasn't as bad as thought would be and can't wait to go back because how great they did making me comfortable!

Fantastic experience: Another Update! Dr. Sam and his Dental Assistant Boi were fantastic yesterday! Helped me get a cavity taken care of, without IV Sedation! Dr. Sam was so gentle and quick! I was done in under 30 minutes, much to my relief. Thanks to his expertise, I didn't gag once! Megan T she's the most patient, and softest, and best dental hygienist in the world! Met Dr.Sidon and his assistant Taylor to discuss the next steps for my dental implant. Superb care and information given by them both as usual. Apparently you can only write 1 google review for a place so I'm just going to have to edit this one. If I could give 100 stars to this place I would. Do you suffer from dental anxiety, fear of any instrument going in your mouth, a huge gag reflex, palpitations, sleepless nights, fear of retching and your stomach going crazy, dry mouth, not able to swallow, jello legs, sweating profusely, during dental procedures etc...etc..you get my drift? Then YAZDANI FAMILY DENTISTRY is the place for you! For the first time I opted for IV Sedation and let me tell you, it is worth every penny. If your insurance doesn't cover it, just get it done, it's worth it. Never in my life have I had such a calm and peaceful, ALMOST SPA like experience in a dentist's chair. I no longer feel scared about going to the dentist. Dr. Sidon, and Dr. Singh are my rockstars. The entire staff is amazing, their assistant Kristen, and Dr. Creber, Meghan T (they handled my son's appointments), Carol at Reception, took amazing care of us. Thank God for MODERN MEDICINE! :) Today I met with Dr. Shah and Chloe for an exam and consultation as I have been having some tooth pain. I have A LOT of anxiety regarding dentists, and a HORRIBLE GAG reflex. The two of them made me feel so relaxed, and they were both so soft, and understanding, for once I didn't feel like a terrible loser baby patient. For the first time, in YEARS, I felt ok and somewhat calm during the process, and satisfied after visiting the dentist. So THANK YOU! Also the place is beautiful and clean, and the reception staff are really nice too.

I had my first appointment and I really enjoyed my first hygene appointment. Courtney was very caring, tactful and informative. 5 stars for Courtney and for Yazdani Family Dentistry Kanata.

Negative experience: I've been a patient at this practice and have generally had good experiences with the quality of care. However, I'm disappointed with how my recent situation was handled. I missed two appointments - the first because my son was sick, and the second because I didn't receive a reminder and it slipped my mind. I understand that missed appointments impact the practice, and I take responsibility for that. However, I was told I need to pay a $200 fee before I can even book another appointment. While I recognize that policies exist for a reason, requiring a $200 payment upfront before allowing me to reschedule feels excessive and punitive. A little flexibility and understanding would go a long way. Life happens, especially when you have kids, and we're all human. A more compassionate approach - perhaps a warning for first-time occurrences or a smaller fee - would have felt more reasonable and would encourage patients to return rather than pushing them away. I hope the practice will consider reviewing their policies to balance protecting their business with showing understanding and grace toward their patients.

I am very lucky to have her as my hygienist. The receptionists are very good at direct billing with insurance companies which makes it very easy for me to handle the bills. I have had HORRIBLE dental experiences and Yazdani has turned it all around! My teeth are finally back in good shape and my fears are over! I was overcharged 3 times When I went for a filing . they always make you see dentist twice and make charge twice, when I questioned the bill, I was given no clear explanation. This feels dishonest and unprofessional. Patients should not have to fight for accurate billing. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone who values transparency and trust." This dental clinic is not like when they were just opened that time, I am asking to talk to the manager, the receptionist always tells me they will contact me, but it never happens, I really wish can speak their owners.

Natasha did my cleaning and was SO kind, gentle, and welcoming. She really made me feel at ease. The clinic is absolutely beautiful, cozy, calming, and such a comfortable space to be in. From start to finish, I felt truly valued as a patient. My cleaning results are stunning, and I even left with a lovely gift. Such a thoughtful touch and an overall wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience: Like just about everyone else, I'm not a fan of (i.e. I hate) dental procedures. Today was my first appointment at Yazdani after moving to the area. From start to finish -- setting up the appointment and CDCP, the front-desk admin staff, the dentist's assistants, getting x-rays, the examination by Dr. Creber -- it was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming, so friendly, so warm, so gentle. I'm not going to say that I love dental procedures now -- I have to get a cleaning and two fillings next month and I'm not in a panic about that -- but it was as nice an experience as it could be. Not to mention the coffee/tea and snack bar in the beautiful waiting area. Really just a lovely place filled with lovely people. ETA: Next day, Sept 16. Google won't let me leave another review for some reason. Today I went back for my cleaning. TEGAN is amazing! I told her that aside from being a bit tender from the fillings the day before, I'm a big baby. I didn't need to tell her -- she was so gentle and just an all-round lovely human being. I *almost* can't wait until my next cleaning. ;)

Fantastic experience: The BEST experience. I have always had anxiety going to the dentist and have had my fair share of bad visits. Switching to Yazdani was the best decision I made. I had my first ever root canal and Dr. Andy was smooth through the entire process. I always experience pain during the freezing and I felt NONE when he did it. When I did encounter some pain during the root canal, Dr. Andy and Trisha stopped and would ensure I was comfortable again. 100 out of 10 in my opinion. I was well informed and they were extremely attentive, offered a blanket and neck pillow,... plus having Netflix as a distraction was welcomed! Highly recommend Yazdani. The professionalism was top notch and boy do they make you feel welcome!! Dr. Andy and Trisha have a great personality and are so kind! So much so, I felt comfortable enough I could have belted out the song playing if I wasn't in the middle of getting a root canal!

Every staff member is so friendly and caring. The dentist and dental assistant take the time to listen to your concerns and carefully explain all results and treatment plans. Fantastic experience: I brought my young kids to Yazdani Family Dentistry for their first visits. Natasha was their hygienist and she was so amazing! She was patient and kind with my kids (ages 5 and 2), she explained everything she was doing to my oldest, and let him see her tools before using them. The clinic is very modern, the kids loved the bubble wall! I wasn't sure how "kid-friendly" it would be, but there was a cute little house with a reading nook for them, and some healthy snack options (for grownups too!). Paw Patrol was already on standby in the exam room, and Natasha went out of her way to make sure that my oldest was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Sam was able to do a short and sweet exam on both kids, which made for an overall easy and positive experience. I will happily bring my kids (and myself) back.

She asked for concerns, listened and adapted to them, took the time to answer all of my questions in a detailed manner, and helped me out regarding any product or practices I had; I am very happy with the service. Fantastic experience: I had seven appointments at Yazdani Dental this summer after not having been to the dentist in 5 years and could not have been more impressed by all of the wonderful staff, including the office staff, the dental hygienist who did my cleaning (Pooja), the DH who assisted the vet during my examination, fillings, and being fitted for the nightguard (Trisha), and the dentist (Dr. Andy). I used to fear going to the dentist but from the moment I first walked in for my first appointment, I felt extremely comfortable and quickly discovered I was in very good hands. The staff are so very kind and gentle. I actually looked forward to my future appointments (including the ones where I was getting fillings ). I love that they have direct billing. I even received a free whitening kit! The dental office is beautiful too and features comfortable seating, a snack/coffee bar, and playhouse for kids. I am so glad I decided to go to Yazdani and will be recommending it to everyone!

Thank you for taking care of my oral hygiene. Then I went to the front desk and again very nice girls at the reception helping me with my questions about my invoice and my next appointment. Negative experience: I signed up for this dental office in April and I already regret it. I’ve only been here twice, but both experiences left a very bad impression. When I first joined, I made it clear to the receptionist/manager (Megan) that I had just completed x-rays at my previous dental office in Toronto and didn’t want new ones since my insurance wouldn’t cover them so soon. She called me and said they preferred to redo them but assured me the total cost would only be $50 for everything. I confirmed this with her, yet when I went in and completed the visit, they suddenly told me only one part was $50 and tried to charge me more. I refused to pay the extra, and she said she would “work it out.” That was back in April, and I didn’t hear from them again until yesterday, when I went in for a cleaning and they suddenly started pressuring me about that same “old balance.” When I asked why no one mentioned it for months, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. On top of that, they’ve given me quotes in person that don’t match what they later submit to insurance. For example, a $500+ difference between the quote they gave me and the estimate that actually was sent to my insurance. I’ve never seen a dental office operate like this. The hygienists and dentists themselves are great, but the management and billing practices are very misleading and unprofessional. Thankfully, there are plenty of dental offices to choose from, and I won’t be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth eating popcorn. Luckily there was a cancellation so I got in the next day. Dr Kendal Creber took the time to explain what was damaged, showed me the photos and explained what options were available to me. I’m new to the practice and have found her to be caring, always concerned about my comfort and efficient in her work.

Negative experience: To be fair, the clinic’s environment is nice, but my experience with the front desk service was disappointing. They scheduled and carried out a treatment to fill four cavities for my 7-year-old within one hour, without confirming any insurance information beforehand. Unsurprisingly, the rushed procedure wasn’t perfect, and my child had to miss school twice to return for repairs. What concerned me even more was the lack of clarity about insurance coverage. Each time I asked for details before the treatment, I was told they couldn’t provide the information. Yet when it came time to collect payment, they seemed to know every detail. Instead of working with me to sort things out, I was left with a very large and unexpected bill. I know this review probably won’t matter to them, but I hope more people see it. While the staff appeared friendly, I did feel a lack of genuine care behind the scenes, which was disheartening.

Fantastic experience: My dental appointment was excellent today. Comfort was 11 out of 10. Both Dr. Creber and the assistant Taylor were great, explained everything that would happen and provided me with options during the fillings. The warm blanket was a nice touch as this was a rather long appointment. Excellent.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience at Yazdani Dental. Dr. Patel was patient and explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed. My dental hygienist, Kari, was friendly and gentle throughout the appointment and helped create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Even though I was a bit late, the team remained professional and did not rush the treatment or compromise on quality. I truly appreciate their care and attention. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: If going to the dentist feels like punishment, you’re clearly going to the wrong place. Because this place? This is dentist heaven. ✨ From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was checking into a luxury spa, not getting my teeth poked at. They offered me snacks and coffee (yes, coffee omgAT THE DENTIST), and then handed me the remote so I could pick something on Netflix while they cleaned my teeth. I nearly forgot where I was. I would’ve asked for a blanket and just moved in. Trista, my hygienist, deserves her own fan club. She made the whole experience relaxing, fun, and dare I say… enjoyable? I know. Who says that about the dentist?? But she was that good. My teeth are sparkling and so is my soul. Then Becka at reception wrapped it all up with a bow. she answered all my questions, booked appointments for me and my kids, and somehow made paperwork feel painless. Magic. Honestly, I didn’t realize how mediocre my last dental office was until I came here. This place has officially ruined all other dentists for me. I can’t wait to go back, and who even says that about the dentist?! ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: An outstanding place to have your visit. Dr Samuel is amazing, he does thorough examination and knows what he is doing, he is highly skilled in his art. He took his time to assess everything which is commendable. The dental assistant Chris was exceptionally good as well. He gave me a tour of the office, and explained every process. He made all the examinations smooth and comfortable. The front desk staff is really kind and helpful. Everyone greets so well at the office with great warmth!

Unfortunately, the procedure was not completed as expected. Despite it being a cleaning that typically takes about an hour, the dentist repeatedly gave different reasons for not continuing, which left me feeling confused and frustrated. The treatment was ultimately left incomplete with no clear explanation or plan for follow-up. This experience did not meet the standard of care I was expecting, and I am very dissatisfied with how the situation was handled.
