Negative experience: I work nights, I filled out there patient intake on line and received a call at 930 am the next day. I have a broken tooth, fever and pain. No urgent care was offered they only wanted me to have an “assessment” X-rays and not address the issue, I have an amazing dental plan and they wanted to milk it for all I had. No call back after an email explaining all of this and now I’m still suffering. I need one X-ray and an extraction not 38472 X-rays and a conversation about what to do and then another appointment, I need the tooth out!! If you want to be a repeat customer this is the place for you if you just something done they won’t help you they want to maximize your time in the chair so they can pad your bill.

Fantastic experience: Jan. 2026 Had some old silver fillings falling apart. Dr. Tran is the dentist I trust. She's very detailed and wants to know if anything feels off. She will keep working away until you are very happy. No wasting time or money, all options are discussed. That's why I've been going here for years now. Update Jan. 2025 On this series of visits I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Patel. She is also great. Very patient and caring for my comfort throughout the visit. I highly recommend choosing Brantford Family Dental Centre as your new home for all dental needs. The support staff is also incredible with their care and explanations of procedures being done. Original post: Dr. Tran is amazing. Funny and caring. We won't go elsewhere after a bad experience that was closer to home. Went back to Brantford Family Dental Centre after we realized our mistake.

Negative experience: I was with this dental office for several years. I’ve always felt the staff at the front desk are unprofessional, usually sitting & chatting, you can always hear them from the waiting room. Today was the last straw for me. The office sent me a text asking to change my 9:30 am to 10am, I obliged and accommodated the request. I Arrived at 9:50am. While in the waiting room, I could hear staff talking about a dentist who is late, scheduled to arrive at 9:30. They referenced that I was in the waiting room. I concluded that my dentist was behind schedule. Did not bother me. Couple minutes a later a man walked in clenching a lunch bag and several plastic bags. (Had I passed this man on the street I would have thought he was homeless, looking dishevelled) The man announced that he was a dentist, late for his interview. He was directed to sit down and eventually called in for his interview. .. I approached the receptionist and inquired who would be my dentist that day. I was assured it wasn’t the disheveled man who just arrived late for the interview & Dr. Amir would be my dentist. Slightly relieved, I sat back down. Then, I witnessed (both audibly and visibly) the discussions behind the counter (whispers and hand gestures that could still be heard and understood by anyone in the waiting room). This disheveled dentist was most certainly expected to be working on clients, after his interview. He came into the interview with his lunch bag, suggesting he also expected this… I was asked to change my appointment so this dentist could be interviewed first, if he wasn’t expected to be hired and immediately start working, why would any dental office do that. ? While I was assured many times this was not the plan, I KNEW BETTER. To demonstrate just how clearly clients can hear staff talking … I will add this info.. I also heard staff discussing the co-worker who is stuck in Simcoe court house but texted she would arrive in 20 minutes. Staff were disputing the 20 minutes suggestion and ultimately decided to “take her out of the schedule for the day”. ** I offer this convo as proof how accurately I could hear EVERYTHING they were discussing, including my appointment and the late interview dentist! ** I experienced indifference towards my dental treatment in the last few years, which I can only contribute to my change in insurance. Diagnosed with cancer, my dental insurance changed with medical leave. I quickly noticed a difference in the treatment I received, but today was nothing short of suspect. I don’t know what is going on in that dental office but it also looks like reviews are being bought (excessive reviews in short periods look to be attempt to cover up bad reviews). All of this is concerning and eye opening. I would never tell people where to go for medical needs but please beware. If you think medical staff are lying to you (or know they are) accept this as indicators of integrity (or lack of) and act accordingly. I left the office and will find a dental office I can trust. *Edit after reading your response* No, I left within a few minutes of the interview appointment going in. He was still being interviewed. I then attended home hardware next door, upon leaving home hardware I observed the gentleman leave your office, take his bags to the trunk of his car, and enter home hardware himself! *I didn’t decline to discuss, we did discuss. I expressed everything I have here. Perhaps more accurate to say we disagreed. As I stated in my review, I acknowledge being told several times that this person was not about to perform dental work on me, along with regulatory reasons. .. None of that changes what I saw, heard and experienced, first hand. Your insistence just does not add up. I’m left with many questions like why my appointment was moved to accommodate this interview, if not the case. I realize his interview did not work out, rather that be due to tardiness or otherwise, I doubt that was the expected outcome when scheduling the interview. Also contradicts what I heard with my own ears. I’m confident in my own analysis.

Fantastic experience: Brantford Family Dental Centre in Brantford is truly amazing! The staff and team are very patient, kind, and helpful. Our 3 children love coming to the dentist as they continue to pour out kindness, respect, patience and joy to them. The perk......they have a cute treasure chest for the kids. They were especially wonderful with our little guy — he actually enjoyed his first trip to the dentist! Fantastic experience: They accept CDCP 100%! The other dentist I went to previously tried to charge me for a cleaning after telling me they accepted CDCP and gave me a quote for some fillings. In addition to taking CDCP the dentist and assistant were absolutely wonderful. I definitely recommend them. Felt very comfortable the entire time.

Fantastic experience: This is a fairly new dental office for me and I'm extremely happy with the way I'm treated. Both my husband and I have never had any issues with billing, hygienist or dentists. Very professional office but still keeps that small-town feel.

Fantastic experience: I had a severe toothache, I phoned rather late but they booked me in for the next afternoon. They had to remove two of my teeth. The dentist was very good, he explained everything and asked several times if I was Ok. I was in and out in less than an hour and that included taking the X-rays.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this office since 1980. It was called different names but they all have had high standards of care. From entering the dental practice there is always a friendly welcome. I rarely ever wait. My hygienist is absolutely wonderful. She is excellent with teaching, instructions and great at all of her job. All the rooms have TV.’s but the greatest is the one on the ceiling. All about animals. There are many funny situations especially with the cats. I am sure all young and old will enjoy them. Before you know everything is done. I certainly would recommend this dental office to anyone.

In fact you can hear them laughing with patients, putting them at ease. Alisa (office Manager) is so knowledgeable on dental procedures as well as billing and insurance claims, it's very impressive. Dr. Amir is so kind and does beautiful work making your teeth beautiful and strong. The Hygienists do an amazing job as well. My husband and I moved from Brantford a few years ago but we travel 2 hours for our dentist appointments. The drive to Brantford is worth it knowing that you are in good hands at this office.

I usually find going to the dentist to be stressful or scary but they made the whole process easy and comfortable.

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with Dr. Sayar. I got a filling, and it wasn’t done well—I had to get it fixed afterward. The quality of work wasn’t great, and I didn’t feel like they really listened to my concerns. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Negative experience: I called in to book an appointment last week and the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional for some reason. Somehow she was not able to book it and was giving me attitude. Not a good first impression, I think her name was Kat... something. After I had this experience I checked the reviews to find, I am not alone with same experience. Good thing I didn't book the appointment. One of my friends recommended this place, she said dentist are great in here.. But if I have to deal with this receptionist every time I come over, its not worth it.

The dental hygienist Gurleen, does a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Amir is the most competent dentist that I have ever had. He has put in two bridges and one crown for me, he does excellent work and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Positive experience: ....had a broken crown on Sat, was seen early Tues (since not in pain, otherwise would have been looked at 1st thing Mon AM). Assessed with priority to save underlying tooth and took impression for new crown next week. Everyone always professional and welcoming.
