Fantastic experience: Took myself and my 15 y.o. son here because of their flexible schedule. They were very thorough and professional. Made us feel at ease. The x-rays found an extra tooth in my teens mouth we never knew he had all these times going to our regular dentist!! Was surprised today the least. Very highly recommended!! Direct billed to my insurance company too!❤️

Fantastic experience: Westshore Dental, has been so good to my husband. Dr.Sidhu made him feel so comfortable, and the care he received, was exceptional. He thinks Dr. Sidhu is an excellent dentist, and very friendly. He’s also honest, and that’s rare in a dentist, at least what we’ve experienced. The administrative staff, are also very friendly, and really professional. They’re also discreet when dealing with your insurance, which I really like. We’re so happy that we’ve found Westshore Dental, and we would recommend going to them, if you’re looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: After an accident right before Christmas, I had left a message when I found out you weren't open until Jan 5. I felt my situation wasn't dire enough to take Dr Sidhu away from his holiday. I was very relieved to get a call on Jan 3 to let me know there was a cancelation on the 5th. I wasn't able to see Dr Sidhu, but Dr. Perez and her assistant Elaine were able to ensure that what I was feeling was consistent with having a fall. Thank you both very much. And thanks to the person who had to cancel on Monday.

Negative experience: called and ask to have a tooth pulled because i was in a-lot of pain on Saturday december 6/2025 they get me an appointment for Tuesday december 9/2025 which is great book time off work to have the tooth pulled , i get a call the day before the appointment saying there is a staffing shortage and needed to cancel my appointment i explain to the receptions that i had book time off work for this and i was in a lot of pain so she sets me up with dr Shikha Atreja , she looks at my tooth says it needs to come out and sent me on my way with out pulling it and said she is sorry that im in a lot of pain . i get charged for her to tell me that the tooth needs to be pulled when the whole point of me going there was to get the tooth pulled , talk about lazy dentist , i guess her time is worth everything and my time is worth nothing , i still dont have an appointment to have the tooth pulled my name is roger beaulieu look me up im a long time patient

Fantastic experience: I’d like to share a lovely experience we had today. My 10-year-old daughter needed to have two baby teeth removed, and naturally, she was quite anxious about it. But Dr. Sam Hekmat made the whole experience so positive and memorable. Thanks to her patience, warmth, and wonderful way with children, what could have been a stressful day turned into one filled with smiles and laughter. We’re truly grateful for her care and professionalism.

Negative experience: Update: About a week ago, the filling that the dentist worked on, (the same time she cut my lip open ), has started aching and is super sensitive now. This is Only a few months later, poor quality of work- now I have to go to another dentist to fix up a botched job. Poor quality, rushed work. The establishments response is also very false, they did not respect communication wishes so that I could have everything documented, and kept calling at their convenience only. The dental report that I requested of the incident also contains false information. Be aware!! Seems like a lot of 5 stars after- with very few actual reviews, something is off. ****** Sliced my lip open during a filling and gaslit me by saying it was superficial yet it was gaping open and I was given multiple ointments to emergency clot the blood. Literal blood clots poured from my mouth and pouring out when I stood up. Also- Doctor wrote in my file, that I had anxiety going to the dentist, I’ve never once said that nor have I ever felt that in almost 40 years; except when my lip was being sliced open and the dentist was not paying attention with the serrated file getting deeper and deeper meanwhile I began feeling it through the numbing. Horrible experience that I now am experiencing so much stress and ptsd from plus still dealing with the scarring months later. No follow up from my last email month ago, poor accountability

Negative experience: Had some terrible experiences every tooth that got worked on Feels rough and unpolished, even though I went back twice to try and get them fixed when I got my wisdom teeth out, the dentist chipped my front tooth, then he tried to say he didn't! instead of fixing it right away, even though it was his fault he made me wait two months, so the chip got worse. So I had to go to another dentist if you're going for a teeth cleaning, they seem to be pretty good. But any actual work done on your teeth is just a nightmare.

Fantastic experience: Visiting the dentist is not my preferred activity, but Westshore Dental excels at making patients feel at ease and comfortable through a perfect blend of professionalism. Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. Staff is amazing and knowledgeable. They are professional and are capable of problem solving with unforeseen problems. I had an issue with an essential prescriptions and Kristin/Dr Sidhu resolved this. Negative experience: Went here for my braces as a teenager am still traumatized from one experience there where they did some dental work on me without my knowledge or consent in my opinion that shouldn’t be legal but apparently it’s ok for them to do

Fantastic experience: I am happy to have a chance to comment on how kind and helpful Dr. Sidhu was to me when I came in with a 20 year old crown that broke off. He helped me make a dissision on what to do about it. Dr Sidhu gave me and my husband plenty of time to discuss my teeth situation since I am 70 years old. Positive experience: I had a tooth extracted, that was quite difficult in that it had an extra root. Dr Sidhu was excellent. I didn’t even really feel the freezing go in as he did it in two steps. I was prepared for a painful experience, but it turned out to be the least painful experience I have had in a dentist chair in my over 60 years. Thanks.

Negative experience: I have been there for 12 years as a regular patient, I liked there. The doctors and most staffs there are very professional and friendly. But some receptionist were very bossy and rude. I understand they are very busy so usually booked me a dental cleaning usually every 7-8 months .This time I wanted to change my dental hygiene appointment and I have been told that I needed to wait for another 3-4 months. That means I have to do dental cleaning I once a year . I called them back that I need a dental cleaning somewhere else just for once and the receptionist told me if I done that I will be a new patient when I coming back I will do all the new patient check and open a new file again . When I couldn’t understand what happened she said I closed your file and hung up on me.

Fantastic experience: I went for a tooth extraction and everyone knew how much I was afraid. I was well taken care of and Dr. Perez did an amazing job keeping me comfortable and making sure I knew what was going on at all times. Highly recommend this dental office (all staff were great!) And Dr. Perez.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE!!! I feel they are scammers! Paid them under $300 for a exposed nerve to be filled...pain was worse, had to go to another dentist less than a week later; as the pain was unbearable. Upon new dentist visit for the extreme pain, turns out needed a root canal done! By issue is...if root canal was needed, why charge me for filling the tooth?? I could have used that $300 towards the root canal!!! Not sure they know what they are doing. I called them to get some partial refund and they said that they could NOT help us....WOW!!! NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! Thanks for nothing Westshore Dental

Negative experience: "We've reviewed our records and cannot find any history" blah blah. Either your system is messed up or you intentionally delete clients you don't want to deal with. They told me the same story and said they'd call me back and never did. They were horrible to my son 8 years ago and still incompetent today. Just go to Parkway. Don't bother searching my name you won't find it either, it's an alias. Even your Google responses are rude. Keep up the great customer service.

Negative experience: My family and I had horrible experience with this dental office. The dentists we had (apparently they were a couple, husband & wife) made wrong diagnose and caused more problems for our teeth, rather than fixing them. We are still struggling with fixing problems they caused in a different dental office. I am talking about our experience after several visits for different members of the family. Meanwhile, front desk staff (especially the old lady in front) were not friendly and helpful, and it seemed that customer service is not important or a priority to them at all. The hygienists that we had, though, were nice and helpful, and some guy (apparently the owner) was saying Hi to people in the waiting room whenever he passed.

Fantastic experience: Every time I went to check my teeth always the doctor suggest to remove my upper wisdom teeth. I always declined because I was afraid to do it. My last visit the doctor encourage me and told me is going to be fine, she asked if I want the happy pill I said no. I was amazed with they service specially the doctor who remove my wisdom teeth she is one of the best, also her assistance and all their staff are very nice. Next day they called me to check on my. Negative experience: Went on the site to book appointments for my two kids and I and got a confirmation email showing my preferred date and time. Went in on said date and time assuming this was our appointment only to be told it was just a confirmation of preferred appointment and the elderly lady at the reception acted as though we were crazy even when we showed her our email confirmation. She went on to check their system and said they did not even have us for confirmation of appointment in their system. She was very impolite and just acted like we were bugging her. It is so unfortunate how unprofessional and judgmental people are in the healthcare system here in Victoria. I am a medical professional myself and I found this really disturbing.

Fantastic experience: The appointment slipped my mind and I answered the phone and oh no, the appointment?!! I asked the receptionist if it was too late and if we could be there in 5 minutes (more like 10 in the end) could we keep the appointment. She was so kind, said yes , and we rushed out the door. They were so accommodating and I really appreciated them taking my son for his cleaning a bit late. Thanks again Westshore Dental Centre!!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed, the porcelain crown that Dr. Robert Yamorlins installed fell out after just a year!!!! When I called, they refused to check it without charging me, despite the crown clearly failing too soon. Poor service and lack of accountability. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable dental care.

Negative experience: We originally had a good experience here but then there was some staffing changes and since then we have had some major issues. We paid thousands for a tooth plate for my mother that has never fit properly but she was too scared to return. Bad appointment with my toddler. They quoted one price on the phone and then after the appointment it was almost doubled. I personally would avoid this place at all costs.

All was explained to his age level repeatedly and thoroughly. We are grateful for this supportive team making this first dental experience as calming and supportive as possible. Fantastic experience: I have been to this place for scaling of my teeth recently. All the staff was very professional and courteous throughout my appointment and the hygienist aptly responded to my queries and the concerned dentist Dr. Shikha also made me comfortable in answering my doubts and clearing my concerns throughout the procedure she performed I.e fillings for my teeth. Negative experience: I feel bad by Dentist name Shikha Atreja the way she commenting in front of client. Instead of saying nice words she have little attitude , she insulted me just because of I start Panicking because of procedure . She has no professional skills Otherwise I like all staff and reception staff they all are very polite and respectful.

Fantastic experience: Dr Samira Hekmat has changed my life! I was having serious muscular jaw issues that have been getting progressively harder and harder to not being able to open my mouth more than a couple inches and had to be sedated for all dental procedures because my jaw would be so painful to have opened for more than a minute at a time. I was also grinding my teeth at night. Last year at one of my cleaning appointment with Jessica( she's fantastic !!!) she mentioned that Dr. Hekmat was doing Botox injections to help with exactly my jaw issues! I booked and appointment ASAP and within 2 weeks I was able to open my mouth wide again with no pain and enjoy my life! And no more grinding my teeth at night!!! I have just received (5-6 months after the 1st) my 2nd set of injections and look forward to one day soon not having to have them any longer and NO jaw muscle issues or grinding! I would recommend this treatment to anyone in need of it. It has changed my life! Thank you so much Dr. Hekmat!

Fantastic experience: It is with great relief that I write to express my gratitude to Westshore Dental Centre for the very professional and welcoming service I received as soon as I called with an infected tooth. As an emergency dental situation, I was invited to come immediately, the receptionist was helpful and within a very short time, I was seen by the Dentist. Following her examination and X-Ray, I was booked for an appointment with the Extraction Specialist and given a prescription for an antibiotic to address the infection. Due to a cancellation a week later, I met Dr. Sidhu, a most effective, cautious and professional man, who took my blood pressure, administered anesthetic, and proceeded to remove the crown and molar beneath, with very little pain. I highly recommend Westshore Dental Centre for all aspects of individual and/or family dental maintenance, repair or surgery. Thank you to everyone who provided a comfortable, supportive and very professional and safe experience.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Neale and her assistant Shirley yesterday for a root canal. After everything I'd heard about this procedure, I was a little hesitant. However, I was made at ease when I arrived and I have to confess, that the root canal was absolutely painless. Even after the freezing came out, I had no side effects at all. And today, it was like it had never happened. I am so impressed! I've been a patient at Westshore Dental for about 10 years now, and every time I'm amazed at how professional and skilled they are. The front office staff and the hygienists are amazing, and of course, the dentists are absolute professionals. I would recommend (and I have done so) to anyone needing dental care. Fantastic experience: The staff at westshore dental are always so friendly and helpful. The receptionist there today was very helpful and patient In taking the time figure out my insurance coverage. Additionally, my dental hygienist was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, while ensuring I felt comfortable and relaxed during the cleaning process.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my family have been patients of Westshore Dental since Canwest Mall opened in the early ‘80’s. I love Rumi, my hygienist. Dr. Lian is lovely and I’ve always had good experiences here. They’ve been through many changes over the years. I’ve stayed on through it all.

Fantastic experience: Great front end staff. Very friendly and efficient. Melodie, the hygienists who cleaned my teeth was amazing!! So gentle and made it relaxing! And the Dentist actually did a full oral exam which I can honestly say no dentist in my 47 years has ever done! Apparently they should always be done - who knew? Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I usually see Monica for my cleanings and she’s so kind, efficient and just a wonderful person to be around. This time I had to reschedule my appointment and was booked with Hannah (? I think that was her name). I was a bit worried about seeing someone new but she was so great and lovely! Would highly recommend folks see Monica or Hannah!
