Fantastic experience: I’ve always been treated good here. They’ve never made me say ouch so can’t complain lol. I’ve always been told ahead of time of what I have to pay based on my coverage and never got any unexpected surprises when I paid over and above my coverage. No complaints here

Negative experience: We recently had a very disappointing experience at the Westshore Parkway dental clinic with our kids. The staff seemed impatient and were not very friendly toward the children, which made them feel scared and uncomfortable. The dentist did not clearly explain the procedure before starting the treatment, which increased my child’s anxiety during the visit. In addition to this, we were asked to pay extra money on top of what was already being claimed through our insurance. When I questioned this, the staff later mentioned that it was a billing error. This situation was frustrating and caused unnecessary stress, especially when dealing with children’s healthcare. Overall, the experience was upsetting for both the kids and us as parents. We expected better communication, transparency regarding the billing and care from the clinic.

Fantastic experience: First time visit to Parkway Dental and I was impressed. Everyone was very kind and helpful and they seem to use all the latest and greatest technologies and techniques. Dr Smith was very kind and gentle and made me feel comfortable and reassured.

Positive experience: Dan was my son’s hygienist this morning and he was phenomenal! He gave him a mirror and chatted about what he was doing, what teeth were adult teeth vs baby, the most important spots to floss and why, educated him on minerals and calcium and saliva and how those all impact oral hygiene. All this is a fun conversational way :-) Thanks Dan! We’ve seen a few dentists and have experienced a bit of inconsistency with respect to some concerns, I did express this being frustrating and they were receptive / understanding and will send a referral to an orthodontist for more solid answers.

Fantastic experience: Overall if I could give 10 stars I would. Their office is huge, super clean, organized and even has Netflix in each room for their patients to watch. So I want to start off by saying that I have had years of very negative experiences with dentists. I switched to Parkway Dental recently and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Zybutz who is quick and somehow extremely gentle all at the same time, very patient and understanding. Although I was still nervous, her professional, gentle, understanding and confident demeanor and approach really helped me to feel better and not be so stressed and anxious about getting dental work done. The receptionists are all very professional, kind, friendly and helpful. Overall I highly recommend Parkway Dental.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Paul and the dental assistant was Krista. I couldn't recommend them more. I have severe dental anxiety and struggle with freezing because of some medical conditions. Dr. Paul was very knowledgeable in my conditions, which is rare in itself to understand them, and was very patient with my anxiety, as was Krista. All of my trillion questions were answered with zero judgement or annoyance and he called to check in later that day after I had an issue. If you have dental anxiety or C-PTSD, they are a team that can be trusted. The office itself, I've never had any issues, they are all very kind and understanding.

Fantastic experience: I’m typically quite anxious about dental visits due to years of dental neglect, but every soul here that I’ve seen is kind, patient, and rooting for every success I make.

Negative experience: Get a second opinion if they say you have cavities. Nice facility though

Negative experience: I went there for a general check up and cleaning. They put me in a chamber with no instructions how it will be or what will happen. Told me to take off my 3000 dollar earings with no where to place them. These are .5 canadian cut yukon diamonds. Shoved me into a room with no discussion about what was going to happen. Put my 3000 earings in the hand of a trainee. Then when the dentist came in she forcefully said were going to take your wisdom teeth out right here and right now. Obviously seeing my 100% coverage from my work and wanting to take advantage of it. I literally saw my life flash before my eyes and never coming home to my cat again because im dead now. I said no and begged no and she let me up from the chair. These people are in the business of making money and will do anything no matter how immoral to get money from you. I also got a cleaning 2 times and my teeth feel so dirty still. They feel dirtier than when I went there. Probably from sick descusting energy. And if they come and say oh we dont find you as a patient I will upload my insurance with theit name on it showing exactly it was parkway dental

Negative experience: Horrible service with no privacy the hole time i was there the door was open I went here for a appointment for removal of a wisdom tooth that was infected and severe pain half of my face was numb i asked for antibiotics to help with the infection and something to control pain they said no i didn't feel comfortable and i had to go to another dentist for help during a weekend parkway dental did not have my best interest and and then billed me for a hole dental exam when they only looked at my left side of my mouth and then on top of it billed me for sending the pictures to the new dentist i was definitely ripped off i won't be going back or wont recommend any friends or family stay away from this place

Negative experience: I had my first appointment at Parkway Dental. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but I was surprised that no cleaning was done; only photos/exam. I’ve never had a dental visit that didn’t include at least some kind of cleaning, and I live quite far away, so it’s frustrating to be told I’ll need to come back another day just for a cleaning. They're also doing construction and it's quite noisy and not overly comfortable. Friendly team, but the appointment structure didn’t work well for me and the environment wasn't great due to the construction occurring in the office. It was a disappointing experience and I will be going elsewhere in the future.

The reception team is welcoming, and once you’re in the chair the care is just as warm and professional. Everyone in the office, every step of the way, is so friendly and caring and makes the whole experience feel easy and comfortable.

Negative experience: I warn you not to go here. I was shuffled through numerous dentists in my time as a patient because of the high staff turnover over which is never a good sign. I had a filling done at one point and when I kept asking for it to be fixed due to discomfort and pain 4-6 weeks after the procedure I was met with statements like “what would you like us to do? Everything looks good and normal.” Excuse me, what?!? I don’t ever chew on that side because of discomfort now. Finally a different dentist said she could file it down to relieve pressure but I’d have a gap and would need to floss. I was confused as to why I’d need a gap now when I didn’t prior to the filling but was in pain and wanted someone to fix it. Well, now I have a massive gap between rear molars and can’t chew on that side because of pain when food gets stuck and bruises my gums. I’ve gone to another dentist who is going to attempt to fix it at this point and is equally as confused as I am as to why anyone would have done this. I will have to pay out of pocket at this point which is ridiculous, despite going back 3 times after the original filling about the discomfort that was never resolved. Their lack of professionalism and care now costs me money but I won’t go back because of the treatment and how I was gaslit into believing it was all in my head and it must be fine so I shouldn’t be feeling pain. Honestly the dentists all acted like it was a big waste of their time any time I came in asking for help with the pain. Do not go here.

Fantastic experience: I received top quality dental hygiene services from Jhem. She was very personable, professional, a good listener, a fine teacher and was totally committed to my comfort during our session. I have already scheduled my next session with her. I will continue to request Jhem as my hygienist. Go girl go!

Fantastic experience: I had my cleaning today Dec 2, 2025 and honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! The front office staff were friendly, professional, and made check-in/out seamless. My hygienist was absolutely amazing, she was thorough, gentle, and took the time to get into every little crevice while still making the appointment comfortable. She also patiently answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. The dentist and assistant were both incredibly respectful, kind, and clearly focused on patient care. Everyone in the office made me feel valued and at ease. This is exactly the kind of dental care everyone hopes for highly recommend this practice! Thank you

Negative experience: Friendly staff. Hygienist are great. My complaint is with a specific dentist. Called a few times to ask about a treatment that was discussed and was told they would reach out to the dentist with my questions and he would get back to me. Never heard from him. Unfortunately trust is gone. Won’t be back and I encourage anyone to really think twice about going here.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place with amazing staff. Empathetic and had me in for an emergency appointment quickly even though I'm not one of their patients. I am now and will be returning. Thank you for being so kind and compassionate.

Negative experience: The dentists, hygienists, and assistants are great and professional. Unfortunately, our experience with the administrative staff was extremely frustrating and made us feel disrespected. For one of our appointments, the day before, we called to explain that my husband might not be able to attend or might arrive straight from work in dirty clothes (he is a construction worker). We said he would try to make it if they would charge us. The staff said they could rebook the appointment, but would require a $125 deposit. I let them explain what that meant, they said that he will have to pay $125 up front before being seen my dentist and after the appointment, they would refund it if the actual charge was less than $125, and if it was more, we would just pay the difference. We agreed to this. Despite this, at the time of the appointment, we were charged the $125 as a cancellation fee, in addition to the regular dentist charge. This was misleading and confusing. They eventually refunded the $125, but never acknowledged it was their mistake. Instead, throughout our interactions, the administrative staff made us feel as though we didn’t understand and treated us in a condescending and humiliating way, making us feel “low-class.” I suggested they review the call recording to see what was said, but I was dismissed. I also believe they should never use the term “deposit” at all to avoid confusing patients. As the first point of contact for patients, the administrative staff should be pleasant, helpful, and professional, but that was not our experience. While the dental care itself is good, this incident with scheduling, charges, and communication left a very negative impression.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist that I had was very informative and gave me hints / tips on how to look after my back lower gums, better than I'm already doing.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behavior at this dental office, especially from their office coordinator, Danielle. My husband called regarding a simple insurance-related question, and instead of helping, she was rude and dismissive. She claimed she “knows what she’s doing” and told him to stop calling them for no reason — which is absolutely unacceptable when patients are just trying to understand their coverage. As someone who was planning to get my dental services done here, I’m relieved that I found out beforehand how poorly they treat patients. This office just lost a potential long-term client due to the attitude of their front staff. When you work in healthcare, patience, politeness, and professionalism are non-negotiable. Patients have every right to call and ask for clarification as many times as needed — that’s part of your job. Danielle might know her administrative work, but she clearly needs to learn how to treat patients with respect.

Negative experience: Great technology and dental staff. So many issues on the administration side that my family switched offices.

Negative experience: They will always cancel on you the same day of your appointment and will not even call you to let you know. They have 20 + administrators to book appointments but not nearly enough hygienists. Stay away from this location if you care about your oral health.

Positive experience: I appreciate their flexibility to accommodate schedules. There was one hygienist there today that seemed a bit grumpy and semi rude to the kids but usually it’s a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: Had a very painful tooth and was able to obtain an emergency appt that day, given an antibiotic prescription that day and scheduled in for a root canal a few days later-Dr Su was amazing with the root canal and alleviated my pain quickly and painlessly-thank you!!

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental office I've ever been to. It's very large and feels a little corporate (although I think they're local?) but they are very efficient and there's minimal fuss or wait time. Plus, they have all the fancy technology to ride your teeth the best care. I've been offered particular care and referrals that I never knew existed because none of my previous dentists ever mentioned them. I wish I had switched years ago.

Fantastic experience: First and foremost, I am a man with severe P.T.S.D. Parkway Dental is second to none where it comes to patient care, counseling and organization. First; Sonia needs to be honored with the order of Canada, she is so re-assuring and an incredible anchor contact for those suffering from P.T.S.D. second; front intake staff are all absolutely wonderful and professional people (coffee is wonderful as well). Third; Dr. Mac and his support staff ( sorry I am still groggy you names won't pop in to my head.) From the lady cleaning to the lady doing all the patient prep. Parkway Dental is absolutely top Notch!!

My Granddaughter has been needing dental surgery for a very long time and due to her massive anxiety we had not been successful in keeping her in any dentist chair even with the prospect of sedation. The wonderful staff at Parkway Dental made it happen and she actually went through with it! She had extractions and numerous fillings plus one root canal, and we were expecting some pain after the sedation wore off but there was no post-operative pain at all, and as a bonus her teeth look amazing! Thank you Parkway Dental, you are my hero!
