Fantastic experience: This is an awesome place to go if you are thinking about implants or just improving your smile. The staff were outstanding, reassuring and kind all round. The extent they go to to give you your best possible out come is amazing . They fully discuss every aspect of all the procedures I required. Between the doctors and the treatment coordinator, Jennifer I had a very reassuring experience. I am looking forward to the end results.

Fantastic experience: Root canals are not fun. Like not at all! The team at Barrie Smile Centre though, were great. Made sure I was aware of the procedure and what it would entail, made sure I was comfortable, and offered gas so the whole ordeal was easier on me. Although these types of dental visits are never enjoyable, I would highly recommend Barrie Smile Centre as they really do care about the patient!

Fantastic experience: I really can't say enough good things about my experience. I have anxiety when it comes to the dentist...at the clinic prior to coming here, the dentist let his frustration out when I was struggling with a procedure and essentially yelled at me more than once. This experience was the polar opposite. I had more anxiety than normal as this was a more emergent and unexpected visit...I was worried that I would be too anxious and frustrate him and I'd get yelled at again...well let me tell you....when I started to struggle...he stopped and held my hand to calm me down! He talked to me before we started and tried to ease my anxiety but just talking about random stuff...the hygienist was equally amazing but...I have NEVER had a dentist put so much effort into making sure I was ok!

Fantastic experience: I’m from Northern Ontario, and my teeth haven’t been in the best shape since childhood. Over the years I also had some pretty bad experiences that led me avoiding the dentist altogether, which obviously isn't a great decision. When I finally decided it was time to take care of things, my first contact was with Jennifer, the treatment coordinator. She was so kind, helpful, very knowledgeable and reassuring, that experience gave me the confidence to book my appointment. Dr. Jason and his assistant were amazing, gentle, patient, and not judgmental at all. The dental hygienist was also so wonderful and she also made me feel very comfortable at every visit. The team took the time to really understand my situation and put together a plan that made sense for me. For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful and confident about improving my dental health. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone, especially those who have been putting off dental work due to shame, anxiety or worry. The care and kindness here truly stand out.

I’ve always hated going to the dentist and my smile could definitely use some work, but I never once felt judged or uncomfortable. I’m a pretty loud (no tone control) and interesting character, and they still made me feel completely welcome and respected! Fantastic experience: I recently visited the smile center for a cleaning and check up with the dentist. What a fantastic experience as this was only my second time visiting this office. All staff members from the front desk to the dentist were terrific, knowledgeable and kept me informed at all times during my appointment. I was especially impressed by Jill the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. What an absolute professional! I highly recommend the smile center.

Fantastic experience: When I say that I was terrified of the dentist, I mean that I literally cried when booking the appointment, I was so terrified. But I picked Barrie Smile Centre based on the Google reviews and I am so glad I did. Rebecca at the reception desk was so kind and patient and understanding when booking me in and then when I finally came in for the appointment, Gabby was so patient doing all my scans and x-rays. And Dr. Christian was so sweet and talked me through each step. They let me cry and go at my pace. Then when I went back in for my cleaning with Janelle (who was kind in not correcting me when I called her Chanel), she really changed my whole mind on the dentist. Janelle was gentle and explained each step. I mean, I watched Gilmore Girls and completely forgot where I was... If you're hesitating or have a fear of the dentist, go to Barrie Smile Centre. Negative experience: Unprofessionalism at its best. Nothing against the dentist but at front desk people working there have no idea what they are saying or what to do and how to different Govt plans works. They tried to charge me and when I told them how it suppose to be then they didn’t charge. My sister in law went there and same thing. God knows how many more people they have charged extra.

Fantastic experience: Sept 4, 2025 I completed my series of appointments for a dental implant fixing my broken tooth. I had checked around a number of places and frankly was getting the runaround from local dentists. I contacted the Barrie Smile Centre, almost in despair, and talked with Rebecca about the procedure. She immediately put me at ease, walked me through all of the options, steps and pricing and really made my choice ease to make. I received a patient treatment plan that laid out the 6-step process extremely well and started the procedure early in 2025. Dr Eisen was excellent. He was very professional, easy to talk to and explained every step along the way. His assistant Gabby was great as well and the two of them make a great team. I had the need several times to adjust appointment dates and Rebecca responded immediately and I had no problem with the staff working around my constraints. The front desk staff - Christina and Tammy were very welcoming and sure provided a great first impression for this clinic. I can't thank all of the staff enough for the great care. Fantastic experience: I was there in July for some cleaning and some dental work. Dentist used a lot of care when stabbing me with the needle for freezing. I felt no pain and I didn’t die and when I woke up the next morning I felt like I have a brand new mouth on my right side. So when I went back for the right side I received the same care with cleaning and freezing and all that was needed on the left side. I’m happy to talk that my teeth feel great and the new electric toothbrush I got will be used daily. It had a regular crush and a soft brush for different sensitivities. I would recommend this office with all the great staff and that you have nothing to worry about and no need to be nervous and I lived to tell you that if you have had a bad experience in the past from a different dentist just relax and breath and watch the pet show or ask if you can watch something different on the tv to keep your relaxed. Breath and smile you will be happy you went

I called the clinic on Monday morning and that afternoon I was in the clinic being treated. The staff are wonderful, understanding and patient. The doctors have been great. Fantastic experience: I feel extremely lucky to have seen Dr Eisen. He's probably one of Ontario's top cosmetic dental surgeons. I think his care and skill can't really be surpassed. I've had veneers, crown, and now an implant and I'm very happy. Even another dentist commented on the quality of the work, as well as a dental hygienist who wanted to know who'd done my crown.

Been here for my general check-up and cleanings and have a comfortable experience every time. They have TV's on the ceiling so you can watch Netflix and stay relaxed during long appointments. To say I'm a difficult patient would be an understatement... between my Genetic defective teeth and my unruly/inappropriate humor, the staff at the Barrie Smile Center were PHENOMENAL for putting up with me. The reason I came to them was the unequivocal expertise of Dr. Pivorarov. She is (and ill say this forever) the best dentist in Ontario... and I would know, because my teeth are horrible. The rest of the staff made me feel like a million bux as well, very good for the self esteem to say the least!

They gave me some options about financing and overall I felt that they were genuinely honest about how they would treat you and not charge you services that you may not need. I thought that was very honest of them. Fantastic experience: As someone who has had a very difficult time trying to find a dentist to work with me due to social anxiety and agoraphobia, I’m happy to say I think I’ve finally found one. My experience yesterday with them was hands down amazing I didn’t feel judged because my teeth are well awful and need a ton of work. Instead I felt welcomed and was very informed of step by step what was going to happen at my appointment. The dentist was so amazing as soon as she found out I have a hyperactive thyroid she immediately wanted bloodwork before working on me. She’s the second dentist to ever want this before doing work on me all other dentist brush it off and do the work regardless, I appreciate her concerns and looking forward to getting my smile back after bloodwork is complete. I have since been dealing with a solution to my high blood pressure and will return to finish treatment. Many other providers never even check blood pressure. It was a really quick appointment and since I was going to be in town running errands, she said she could have the trays ready in a couple of hours for me which was wonderful. I really appreciated not having to come back next day to pick them up (I live 40 minutes away). The staff are excellent and my visits are always pleasant and on time!

Fantastic experience: I found Barrie Smile Centre online and from the first time I went to the Barrie Smile Centre my experience was wonderful. I have real issues with my teeth and the Center didn't make me feel embarrassed about it. Everyone so far has been wonderful.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing dental office. I for sure found my new dentist. First observations were that the office looks beautiful. They have drinks and coffee available in the waiting area, and it’s a super clean and organized office. I loved the fresh flowers. The reception staff, dental assistants and dentist are very kind and helpful in all dentistry areas. This was my first appointment in a while and the receptionist took a good amount of time to explain how their pricing works, what payments options they have for people without insurance and shows great care in all that they do to give people a better smile! I will definitely be calling to schedule my next cleaning or any other dental needs. They fixed my retainer for a very adorable price and made sure it was comfortable for me. Great atmosphere, would recommend to anyone looking for a new affordable dentistry

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Barrie Smile Centre for over a year, and I'm very happy with the service. The dentists and hygienists are professional and make every visit comfortable.

Negative experience: I have a fear of dentists so it had been a few years since I had visited one. Once I obtained benefits through my spouse I decided to conquer my fear and was advised by the staff that Barrie Smile Center is known for taking care of new nervous patients. I went in for a cleaning and had two cavities that needed filling. I asked my first 2 visits how insurance works and they advised me that I had 100% coverage on 2 occasions, so when they continued to book me in for appts on a monthly basis I didn’t mind as I was a new mom and it felt nice to get out of the house for essentially a free service. After my 5th appt I received a txt msg from reception saying I owe $500 because they messed up and told me it was 100% covered when it wasn’t. This would mean I used $5000 worth of benefits to have a cleaning and two cavities filled. I had a meeting with mgmt to express my disappointment, primarily because all of the work I had done in my first few appts was done by a dentist who is no longer there and who a hygienist confirmed that he was essentially not doing his job well so every appt I had had to be re done numerous times and I have now been to this location almost 10 times in one year. The managers were great and worked out a deal where I only paid 1/2 of the $500 balance in order to keep a good customer. They said they wanted me to come in for a cleaning asap to keep me as a happy client. I booked a cleaning the following week and at the end was told they’ve actually used all of my benefits so this one would be out of pocket (again I had a cleaning and two fillings done, but had visited over 8x so knew this started to again feel like a scam). I was told by my hygienist during the visit, that she ‘didn’t like the margins’ the previous dentist who left had done and she confirmed that the reason I was having so much pain and trouble with my teeth after visiting this location was because of the first dentist. She asked me to come in so they could fix it for me free of charge. I left that appt being told they would look into my account but to please come back for the free fix of my tooth. I had gotten the confirmation for the appt and I confirmed with reception that it would in fact be free (for the second time) as I didn’t even request this appt they simply wanted to help correct their initial issue. I had this appt yesterday which was quite horrible having to receive multiple needles and leaving frozen from my eyes down to my chest being called the wrong name multiple times in the appt and having equipment be dropped on my face. As soon as the dentist finished, he said I would have to pay full price and I said absolutely not I didn’t even want to come here I was reassured TWICE to come because it was complimentary so the dentist started to bargain saying fine he will only charge half. I advised him I have been there close to ten times and every single time I have had an issue with them (and I am a very low maintenance person) he finally said he would do me a favour and not charge but I will definitely not be returning to this company. From the very beginning they squeezed every penny out of my insurance never addressing the fact that I had to come in 4-5 times EACH for two seperate teeth that weren’t even in pain or bothering me before I ever visited the dentist and it’s now a year later and both sides of my mouth are still in pain and I still have a hard time chewing. During my appt yesterday I overheard the dr and another staff cheering eachother on for getting a patient to come in who didn’t have benefits and it just really solidified that this company cares only about the amount of money they can squeeze out of each patient. I went to this clinic as I was extremely nervous visiting a dentist and I can safely say after close to 10 appts I now will likely not visit a dentist again for a very long time after having such a bad taste in my mouth from this experience. I think the staff individually are quite nice and welcoming and maybe I just had all the bad luck with this place which is why I’m leaving 2 star instead of 1

Fantastic experience: I have recently changed dentists and moved to the Smile Centre because my other dentist did not have any sympathy for sensitive teeth or dental anxiety. Everyone at the Smile Centre has been wonderful even through a routine cleaning and filling I had yesterday. Thank you to everyone for being so accommodating and caring enough to change my perception of “dentistry”. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: So professional and friendly. They made me feel so confident in them, because my past experience left me feeling unsure and scared. I left there with a smile on my face and what a great feeling when you know you've gone to the right place. So happy . They are be on professional.
