Fantastic experience: Very nice people here. Have always had bad experiences at the dentist but since being here it’s been nothing but satisfaction. They are very experienced and they make sure to tell you what’s going on and what your best options are.

Fantastic experience: I have required a fair bit of work and everything has been great. My hygienist has been great. She has had to work really hard on plaque and I rarely feel anything. My dentist nailed it as to what needed to be done as my teeth are improving at a rate that I am very pleased with and I am pain free. Accounting department/ reception is awesome as they let me know what my insurance won't cover ahead of time to make sure I'm aware of my out of pocket. They seem to try really hard to accommodate our schedule as we come from over an hour away. I'm sure that is common practice but how would I know as I didn't dentist for a long time.

Fantastic experience: So after loosing the fight with a 300 lbs hanging branch from the ice storm . I called park place and they fit my in quickly. They managed to repair some broken teeth in quick manner. The job looks amazing. Staff was great from walking in to walking out. I wish I could give 6 stars this time.

All the ladies at the front desk are very pleasant, and helpful with questions and accommodations. I was genuinely drawn to this clinic, so I decided to book an appointment, and I can confidently say I have zero regrets. I want to give special recognition to TK. I’m not sure she realizes the impact she has on others and how God uses her, but she is truly a blessing. Kate was an incredibly gentle, knowledgeable hygienist, and Dr. Yoon’s personality and commitment to helping patients achieve their dental goals made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience: i’ve had nothing but kind experiences here. i’m always met with patience and have had multiple positive experiences with my dental care! i like how thorough they are with their photos and scans, and really appreciate their hours being very accommodating with my work schedule.

Negative experience: I had previously been a client of Park Place Dental, and felt a bit taken aback by the the way they did things. I will have to say that I was quite happy with the care initially, because they were prompt and got me care when I needed it in a pinch (my retainer was unraveling and cutting my tongue, and they got me quickly to fix it). As I continued on with them, my experience changed. I got the impression that they pushed to charge for services, and it was something I had not been expecting. For example, they told me I had some cleaning coverage which I was happy to use but they went ahead to polish and use fluoride without asking. So of course I had to pay for this service, but I was not aware that they would go ahead with this since I was only covered for cleaning. It would have been great if they had asked, but they did not. They also really pushed for me to come in at a 4-6m interval, even though I told them that I only get covered through insurance every 9m. Their answer had been that patients often pay out of pocket for the session between their covered appointments. I thought that was very presumptuous, to think that patients should pay for their sessions outside of coverage, without considering if this was something that could be afforded. The receptionist stated that she had me booked in for my appointment (I can't remember if it was 4 or 6 months later), and I asked for that to be canceled, so I could have it booked for 9m. She said she'd get to it, and told me I could call back to book for 9m. It wasn't until I got a reminder for an appointment that I realized she did not cancel my appointment that I had originally asked her to do. In another example, I had mentioned that my TMJ was starting to bother me and it's probably contributing to my teeth grinding. They said they'd book me in with the specialist and request my insurance for a quote. I assumed they would let me know what the outcome was, but I heard nothing until the day of my appointment. I finished the consultation, only to find out that my insurance denied my request and that I would have to pay out of pocket for injections if I wanted to pursue this. I felt a bit frustrated that I wasn't told this before the appointment, as I didn't have the ability to pay out of pocket for this treatment. The least that could have been done was to save my time, as I didn't need that consultation appointment and would have canceled that if I had known about the insurance. Overall, I just felt that this clinic was very nice initially but eventually I didn't feel comfortable with going in because I didn't know what hidden charge I was going to be hit with by the end of the session. I have since found a new dental clinic, which is very transparent and tells me the expected cost of my session before my appointment.

Fantastic experience: I called as my son hurt himself. They squeezed me in without questions. Super friendly and amazing staff, my son got a little coin to put into a machine that gave him a little squishy duck. They made his experience more comfortable as he was very scared and crying a lot. It’s only he second time at the dentist since he’s only 2.5 but he seemed a lot more clam with them. Would highly recommend. 10/10 service. 10/10 staff

Positive experience: Clean, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Been coming here for years for treatments, always feel taken care of walking in and out the doors. I had left my last visit with Dr. Lee feeling confused. Before I even came to back to reality from the laughing gas, Dr. Lee was gone, and his dental assistant, for their lunch break. Another assistant came in and explained stuff I can’t remember because it was all so fast, and I was coming back from being loopy. One minute they were working on my tooth, and then they disappeared. I know the extraction took longer than expected, but I got the feeling Dr. Lee seemed to be annoyed that I was in as much pain as I was during my tooth extraction. This is because of the audible sighs and pauses after I told him I still feel pain. Anyways, I love this office, and have had great experiences every other time! Definitely the place to go for dental work. Please take time and explain to your patients what’s going on and why. I understand we all need a lunch break, but this is surgery.

Fantastic experience: OMG - first of all, is this a spa or a dental office?? Because it’s hard to tell the difference! Everyone is SO NICE, so accommodating, so professional, with very talented dentists and hygienists!! They even freehand a 3D image of your teeth, and take screenshots of the procedure to show you what they’ve done. SO COOL! Easily the best dentist experience I’ve ever had. From the custom welcome screens in each office, the TV on the ceiling to watch during your appointment, the amazing swag bag at the end of the visit - I’m just so impressed. The receptionists are so kind, so organized, do everything they can to accommodate scheduling, and will call you if there’s an opening. The admin woman (I’m not sure if individuals would like to be named but she knows who she is!!!) - thorough, friendly, amazing at her job. Overall you get the feeling that they all care about each individual. Amazing experience - I feel lucky to live so close by!! THANK YOU!!!

Negative experience: Avoid this clinic if possible. I try not to leave bad reviews, but this place is looking for nothing but money as opposed to providing quality dental services. My husband and I have a very good benefits plan, and it became painfully evident after our first visit that this place wanted to take full advantage of that. We decided not to return after our initial visit because of how pushy they were. We continued to get automated messages about returning for more services but we just ignored them. Today I received a text message from them that included information about my file and my medical history that is supposed to be confidential information. Why they would ever include such details in a random text message is beyond me. They literally used these medical concerns as a fear mongering method in order to get me to book in. Truly one of the most disgusting attempts to garner business I have ever seen.

Fantastic experience: I was on time for my appointment and was greeted when stepping inside My usual dental Hygienist, Mëili, is back from vacation and it is a great feeling to have her working on my dental work.She is very caring, and had Dr Li checked on the crowns I have had last December and another one early this year. All is good and not a single issue. A very good cleaning, check-up with great care and compassion. Meïli was also very thorough Judi to the dental hygienist, Caroline, for her astounding service. Repeat? A definite Yes!!

Fantastic experience: I required urgent repair on a tooth that had broken, but my dentist in Aurora was away on holidays. I researched dentists in Barrie and Park Place Dental had great reviews. They were able to fit me in that day on an emergency basis. First impressions are valuable. The office was clean and bright, and the all the staff were very pleasant, helpful, and efficient. Dr. Yoon was excellent. After much work, he was able to repair and save the tooth. I returned the next day to have it capped as well. (They have a machine on premises that produces caps/crowns to precise dimensions.) I needed to find a local dentist so that we no longer had to drive to Aurora, though I was reluctant to replace my wonderful dentist of 25 years. However, being so impressed by everyone and everything at Barrie Park Place Dental, it is now my new dental service!

Negative experience: Very poor appointment scheduling and internal coordination. I was originally booked for 2:30 PM but received a call in the morning asking me to come at 1:30 PM. Upon arriving at the clinic, I was told it would still be at 2:30 PM as they needed time to clean and prepare the room. This lack of clear communication is concerning. While I understand that unexpected changes can happen, there should be a proper and valid reason. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose confidence, so I cancelled my appointment. Poor collaboration overall. Wishing them all the best moving forward.
