Positive experience: Julia did a great job cleaning my teeth and educating on better gum care. The office created my appointment as a new patient. Not new had to fill out forms again. Not sure why. No big deal.

Fantastic experience: I drive 1.5 hours in each direction to be there. Everytime I’m there they are fully staffed with the most kind professional people. Everything is explained to me with options and a quote on price before starting anything. I am Not a fan of being at the dentist and they make it so much less stressful. I get nitrose gas when I go to calm me further. All of this makes the long drive worth it

Fantastic experience: I called Georgian Mall Family Dental and asked if they did emergency services and they did as my usual dentist was closed for the weekend. I had broken my tooth and need it looked at immediately. Jessica L. was so friendly on the phone and said yes they could see me within 2 hours of my phone call. When I arrived early, I was seen right away by Helen the assistant saw me right away. She was really friendly and kind. When I saw the dentist Dr. Divyen recommended the only option was to have the tooth pulled. He was very informative through the entire procedure making sure I was okay through a difficult time. I cannot say enough about this experience. Everyone was friendly, kind and helpful through a very difficult moment. I will be going back to get additional work done once I am healed.

Fantastic experience: I have been to some other dentist in my 38 years of life and I have to say none of them where as caring, kind, compassionate as the men and women that work here I have always been nervous when seeing a dentist and the receptionist made me feel safe and comfortable when waiting in the waiting room it was welcoming and inviting when the time came I went into the room and my husband said out I ended up feeling to nervous and asked if I could have him come in the nurse who was assisting the dentist went and got him for me. The dentist pulled my wisdom tooth and it was okay I am at home and feeling better sore but it will stop in a day or so. come to this dentist office and I can say I think you will not be disappointed, they work with your insurance plan, so far so good thank you all My mother went and they where amazing she felt safe and welcomed We went and paid for the work after words and paid way to much the secretary came and gave back the money the honesty is refreshing thank you

Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and I was especially happy that the Technician performing the cleaning routinely checked in with me to make sure I wasn't experiencing any discomfort.

Fantastic experience: My dentist of 25 years was about to retire, so I asked google to find the top rated dentists in Barrie. Georgian Mall Family Dental had the best reviews so I made an appointment and just had my first visit with them yesterday. I wish I had known about them sooner because I would have made the switch immediately. They absolutely deserve a 5/5 star rating. The dentist, hygienist, assistants and reception staff all made sure that I was comfortable. The tv’s on the ceiling, to keep you entertained and the very comfortable chairs were an added bonus.

Negative experience: Georgian Mall Dental is not what it used to be, they’re way too big. This new East West thing is absolutely ridiculous. Doesn’t have that personal touch, clearly owned by someone in Toronto. I already go to a new Orthodontist and soon will find a new dentist and hygienist.

Fantastic experience: Very professional every time I visit. Jessica F made scheduling my filling, cleaning, and sports guard mold easy with great communication. Liana did an excellent job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Andrew fixed my chipped tooth perfectly and quickly. I have a bad gag reflex, and during the mouth guard mold the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Great experience from the front desk to the dentists. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: I had severe anxiety about an extraction, as I previously had a horrible experience at a different dentist. The dentist working with me at Georgian Mall Family Dental was extremely attentive ensuring I was ok. He reassured me that everything was safe before proceeding as I am currently pregnant. The process was quick and the tooth was out before I even knew it.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Georgian Mall Family Dental. I was seen on a Saturday while dealing with a severe wisdom tooth infection during pregnancy, and the care I received was exceptional. The dentist took my concerns seriously right away, explained everything clearly, and made the difficult but necessary call to send me to the ER for IV antibiotics to get the infection under control safely. What truly stood out was that their care didn’t stop there. The office followed up, stayed in contact, and actively advocated for me with Huronia Oral Surgery to help get me in as quickly as possible. At a time when I was overwhelmed, in pain, and worried, they went above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t navigating this alone. Compassionate, professional, and genuinely invested in their patients I am incredibly grateful for this team and highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist was very knowledgable and I could tell she had been doing this for some time. I normally avoid the dentist but this was among the best experiences to date. As a 59 year old patient, I highly recommend GMFD from my last experience. The dentist explained options for a tooth I was a little concerned about but didn’t pressure treatment. She listened to my concerns and respected my decision. I would hope to have the same hygienist going forward.

Fantastic experience: I have never been a fan of the dentist. I was going to a dentist in Horseshoe for years out of convenience. After learning that one of my go to dentists practices here I very quickly made the switch. I learned about this because I had a dental emergency on a Friday evening and they saw me no questions asked while my dentist was closed. I have had a few fillings and an extraction with them and they truly are the most amazing people. Very caring and understanding and I’m happy I made the switch. I will be moving my entire family over.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. I was terrified for nothing. I didn't feel anything at all. In and out in 20 minutes and it was an emergency. They were able to get me in within 1 hour of calling but I couldn't get in until the morning. They were very very accommodating and understanding. Best group of people I've met in a while. Negative experience: They need to improve on first making their client feel satisfied rather than finding every little opportunity to milk them dry especially on their insurance . Why should one keep getting charged for a job that was not well done . I complained about consistent pain since I filled my tooth , came back to see if any correction and it happens one the tooth has been badly affected and needed to be taken off . How do you want to charge the person when you know his complaints are as a result of the tooth being filled and probably not well fixed in the first place . At the end it’s just money money money !

The were both exceptional at their jobs but also very personable and friendly. Fantastic experience: The best dental clinic in Barrie I've experienced. Everyone there from the reception to the dentists and other staff members are wonderful. Welcoming and very helpful, answering every question I asked and giving me time, never made me feel annoying when they answer my questions and concerns. The dentists were very professional, and same thing: they answered happilly my questions and even gave me advices and suggestions related not only to the teeth I came for but also to other problems I wouldn't know as a non-dentist. The appointments were very close and easy to get. That helped. I’ve also had a mouth guard made that fits the way it should and an implant that blends well with my other teeth. I also appreciate the reminders of the importance of keeping up with dental hygiene. Service was fantastic from everyone at the reception desk & coordinating our benefits for direct billing was a breeze. I had Leanna as my hygienist and she was fantastic - very kind and knowledgeable. My previous dental office was too far once moving to Barrie and I’ve hesitated to make the switch, but very glad I chose the right office.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency over the weekend and GMFD was able to fit me in. They aren’t my regular dentist but they were more than happy to help me. Kind, pleasant staff, very thorough. Having worked in healthcare for 2 decades I was impressed with how they explained their findings and proposed treatment.

Negative experience: Our family has been going to this dental office for years and always had great experiences — until recently. Within just six months, two of us used up all of our yearly insurance benefits, and that was only for routine cleanings and fillings. We’ve had the same insurance for 15 years and have never had this issue with any other dental office. Now we’re unexpectedly paying out of pocket for the rest of the year, which feels unreasonable for the type of treatment received. To make matters worse, the new office manager recently contacted us claiming we owe additional money for treatment from almost a year ago. This was never mentioned before, and we were under the impression all payments were up to date. It’s frustrating and disappointing to see such a decline in transparency and billing accuracy from an office we used to trust. I really hope they review their billing practices and communication with long-time patients.

Negative experience: Basically a sales office, they keep all there customers in a CRM and push them to come in, they do not stop calling me and my wife. It's constantly. When I'm ready to get work done I will call, there is no need to constantly call me. I understand it's a business to make money. But dont harass me. Not only that there prices are higher then any other place I've been, so there's that. They gave quick service tho

Fantastic experience: Georgian has been my dentist for a couple Years now. I highly recommend them, always friendly, professional & efficient. As someone who has bad anxiety with medical procedures I can’t recommend them enough.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience here. They completed only half of my dental treatment but still charged me the full amount. Later, they told me l'd need another appointment and would have to pay an additional $216, which is not covered under the Canadian Dental Plan — something they never mentioned before starting the treatment. I feel this lack of transparency and poor communication is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Negative experience: Appointments mixed up - I had to wait 45 mins before walking out without treatment. There seems to be a constant push for high end X-rays that are not needed for cleaning and filling.

Negative experience: I went to get a quote for a tooth veneer and they didn’t bother calling me with a price since my benefits denied it, even though I was fully prepared to pay out of pocket. Went elsewhere and got what I wanted.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Georgian Mall Dentist office are friendly and very accommodating. I have had two urgent needs for a tooth repair and both times I was slotted in the same day to see the dentist. Also, I am a very nervous patient by nature. Dr G is the best dentist to handle us people with an anxious disposition. He is very kind and conscientious when having to freeze your gums or administer the drill. He really does care about his patients . He reassures you along the way and encourages positivity. I will always ask for him when making future appointments.
