Fantastic experience: As a new patient, I've just had one minor and one major service at this place in the last month. Here is my experience so far: The environment I've been shopping around Barrie for dental treatments for a while, and this is the only place offering slippers to keep the salt and snow out of the treating area. Also, the assistant cleans the chair right after I finished my treatment, which makes me feel quite confident that I don't need to wash my clothes right away. The staff: Very friendly ladies. As a new patient, there were times I was quite panicking about the services that became pushy, and I could feel the tension in the air, yet they dealt with my case professionally without me feeling being cursed :) I like their reminding text and email for upcoming appointment, keep me on my toes. The doctor: I've been treated wonderfully by Dr. Sam Caldwell so far. He is a caring and attention-to-details doctor, and is the one did both treatments for me. I'm very happy for the great job he's done to me. Thanks Dr. Sam :) The price: This is not a cheap place. My philosophy is to get the best services I can afford. So if you have the same mindset, this place could be yours too; otherwise, you may have to look for somewhere else. An important note, this is an honest place, i.e. they only charge for service provided; so you can have a peace of mind of getting what you paid for. Over all, I'm very happy about service I've received so far, and would like to stick around -- just begged for long term patient-ship, and got kindly accepted, feeling very lucky and happy :) Jeff

Fantastic experience: My hygienist Marnie did an incredibly thorough cleaning and made the whole appointment comfortable and easy. It was also a pleasure meeting Dr. Ryan Fergusson. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to introduce himself and answer any questions I had. Rachel at reception was wonderful as well, very kind and helpful. Overall a great experience with a fantastic team. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I went to this dental office for myself for the first time, but I’ve been bringing my kids here every six months for a few years After my first filling, I had pain when eating, so I went back and it was adjusted. Then another tooth was filled, and the same thing happened again. I had pain and sensitivity when I got home and couldn’t eat on that side. I went back again, they checked it, and the dentist said they didn’t know why this was happening Now, months later, I still have pain and still can’t eat properly on that side. This experience really disappointed me, and I’ve lost trust. I’m honestly scared of things getting worse, and I won’t be coming back or bringing my kids here anymore

Fantastic experience: I just had a great appointment with Dr.Daniel and Karen. Phenomenal providers. They are compassionate, kind, and skilled. They communicate the “next steps “and truly care about patients. I am so very happy that I chose this office. Rachel at the front desk is also so welcoming ….what a great team of people!!!

Fantastic experience: I moved to Barrie and decided to change dentists after 30 years of seeing my previous dentist. I am so pleased with Ferguson Family Dental. I needed 2 crowns and Dr Ryan was amazing. He is patient, kind and very good at explaining the details, which is something I need. The procedure went smoothly. I am so pleased with the process and the dental work that was done. Karen, his dental assistant was wonderful. I’ve also had a cleaning with Marnie and she was great. Office staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: I don’t like going to the dentist AT ALL. And I haven’t been to one in years. I was worried about one of my teeth so I thought I would try Ferguson Family Dental because they get good reviews. My visit went really well. Lindsay my hygienist was really great. She listened to my concerns and really treated me like a person and not just a customer. She was really gentle and kind. It made the whole experience so much less stressful than any visit I had at the dentist previously. I’m not saying I love the dentist now but I’m not even one percent as anxious about my next visit in a week.

I called in for an appointment to address a concern in the morning and they were able to accommodate with a same day assessment. I was met with kindness and friendly hellos upon entering the facility. Its clean and noted the friendly, patient-clinician chatter. I did not have to wait long and my appointment was thorough. My hygienist Karen listened or my concerns, took xrays with care and provided health teaching to potential issues and made recommendations. Dr. Ferguson was very friendly, kind, and addressed my concerns with ease. He validated my fears and educated me as to what was causing the problem and showed me how he will fix them by giving me a quick but thorough demonstration of what to expect through my treatment. Fantastic experience: I'm a 73 year old woman and I'm pleased to tell you of my positive visit .I was pleased to have my filling done by Dr Sam. He was warm and courteous and capable . I told him I had delayed in coming because of two bouts of vertigo. He asked me to explain and He told me to raise my hand if I wanted him to stop and I did that a couple of times. He slowly lowered me to proceed . He did a great job though it was a tight area to work on , in my mouth His brunette female assistant was very attentive throughout the whole visit as well. Sorry I cannot remember her name . I waited a few moments on the chair to not impulsively jump up and she so kind . C Morrison

Fantastic experience: I went for my consult appointment with Dr.Ferguson (Ryan). He was amazing, as well as his team. They welcomed me like I had known them forever. The kept me informed of the entire process. When Dr. Ferguson came in he listened to me (and I like to talk). He asked me questions and calmed my nerves. He did tests on my death and game me multiple options for my teeth including to help save my tooth. He was CONFIDENT in his abilities and not only do i respect that, it helped with any anxiety I may have had. We made plans to help my teeth going forward and I’m relaxed about it. I’m SO grateful to have found Dr. Ferguson (Ryan) and his team! I will be going back! Update: I went for a root canal and Dr. Ryan and his assistant Karen were absolutely amazing! I was nervous and they both helped to keep me calm, walked me through everything and checked on me the next day to make sure I was ok. I have nothing but positive things to say about Ryan and his team!!

They also use the screens to discuss X-rays, which is super helpful. The front desk staff ensure a smooth and seamless process. Highly recommend this team for their professionalism and care.

Ferguson treats me like a person instead of just another customer. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have always been apprehensive about seeing the dentist, but right from my first visit, I knew that I was in good hands here. Everything went well and quickly. I will be bringing my family to Ferguson Family Dental going forward. I am in a wheelchair and they are very accommodating with my requirements.
