Fantastic experience: Thorough, professional and great as always! I have been going to Downtown Dental for many years. Even though some of the dentists have changed over the years the care and professional service has continued. Fortunately my needs lately have mostly been cleanings and checkups but I cannot say enough about Raj my hygienist who in my opinion is the most thorough and professional I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Downtown Dental for probably 20 years. I used to be nervous about going to the dentist — no more. I recently had two implants and it was quick and easy, and I had little pain or discomfort after the first day.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at with Dr. Yasmine Borno. She did a crown for me and fixed up some chipped front teeth, and honestly… my teeth haven’t looked this good in a long time. I’m really happy with how everything turned out. Dr. Borno is super friendly, makes you feel completely at ease, and you can tell she genuinely cares about your teeth and the quality of her work. She’s meticulous and holds herself to a really high standard - and I think that shows. Even though I don’t want her to get too busy (because I definitely want to be able to book her if I need anything in the future!), I had to write this to make sure the Doc gets her flowers. Highly, highly recommend

Positive experience: Friendly staff, clean facility. I wish the cleaning services are the same across all staff. Sometimes I leave content and happy and some days are not such as my recent visit. Lastly, would make it easier if financing is available for major work that the patients portion have to pay. Been a patient for more than 20 years. You think they would offer such financial services for loyal clients to keep them.

Jen- for being on top of sending me the reminders (I NEED all the reminders I can get!), plus booking me in so quickly & efficiently on my 1 day off. Shirley for the follow up, answering all the questions needed and putting me on a wait list to be seen sooner without me even having to ask. Dania for the pleasant welcoming introductions and her professionalism at the front. After contacting multiple other offices, these staff members were actually what enticed me to come to Downtown Dental to begin with. Front house staff often get overlooked in their roles but these ladies were so calming & informative, I felt at ease making the initial appointment and I can now safely say that they did not disappoint! Since it was my first appointment, I had dental cleaning & Xrays done first with the wonder dental hygienist, Connie, who did a superb job. Boy did she go at them in the best possible way. I had no idea how much plaque build-up I had! I knew she had done an excellent job without even seeing my teeth, as they already felt much better, refreshed and clean - despite me double brushing them before my appointment! Swiftly after this, I was seen by the lovely dental assistant Aria. Of whom took further imaging & tests, then straight away advised me on the 'root' cause of the tooth problem I'd been experiencing. I was shown the images and was given the necessary details of what needed to be done right away. Just when I thought this red carpet treatment was over, in strolled Dr. Ehsan Taheri who confirmed his colleagues thoughts by reviewing the images and completing his own assessment. Dr. Taheri's confidence and straight forward demeanor actually made me feel quite assured and positive in the next steps. Dr. T even found & flagged a non-dental related area of minimal concern that was not known to me before! Dr. EnT?!? All I can say is wow. 5 star treatment from before setting foot in the office to the end. At no point did I feel rushed nor asking too many questions (I was definitely asking too many questions). All of the staff were so polite, knowledgeable and friendly. An important lesson that I took from today's visit is that ten years without flossing can cause a horrible tooth decade... I highly recommend Downtown Dentist to anyone that may be wary of dental offices or in search of a new one. They gave me no reason to doubt their expertise and I look forward to my next appointment with them.

Dr. Yasmine Borno has performed great work , unbelievable job saving my tooth. They care they are perfectionist gentle , make you feel comfortable and dental hygienists also amazing. Fantastic experience: As a first time patient at this office, I can’t say enough about this dental practice! As someone who normally gets anxiety and has nitrous oxide due to sensitivity, I was very worried about my cleaning (without any gas). It was literally the best cleaning I’ve ever had! Raj (hygienist) is amazing, as is Doctor Esposito and all the staff. I even learned how to swallow properly to help my teeth from further migrating. Who knew?! Looking forward to my next appointment already.

As much as this procedure can be, they made feel reassured, took their time and it was as painless as it could be. If anyone is nervous about going to the dentist I couldn’t recommend them enough.

She really seems to care about the health of her patients teeth, being extra careful and taking the time to answer every question I have. The technology they have in the practice is cutting edge and I feel really confident coming here I still travel from new west after moving.

He offers thoughtful answers to all my questions, and genuinely makes the experience something to look forward to. Everyone else is wonderful and you’re guaranteed a quality appointment. Obviously, book with Raj, but not so much that I can’t get in to see him.

Fantastic experience: My dentist since 1997 decided to retire this year and I was extremely nervous about having a new dentist. I didn't need to worry as everyone at Downtown Dental made me feel welcome, comfortable and confident that the treatment I was going to have would be a good experience (if that is possible at the dentist!). Thank you to them all, especially Danja, and at this very difficult time of COVID. I would like to add that on subsequent visits I have found the reception is extremely friendly and efficient, and Raj, the dental hygienist is the best I've ever had.

Fantastic experience: Staff always friendly and efficient. My hygienist (Raj) always remembers and asks me about my work and life, just a really cool guy. Good location, TV's on roof, comfy chairs. They text to confirm appointments, or email if preferred too. Been going for years and not a single complaint. Edit: Sept 2024 - still awesome. Connie does my cleaning the past few times and is also great.

Fantastic experience: They've been the perfect dentist for me over the years. Easy, uneventful, friendly but not cloying, and the bits of work I've had done have always been great and painless.

Negative experience: They STEAL your money. I always give positive reviews, but this was the worst experience ever. On November 29, they estimated the amount of crown and lab fee around $2600 for two teeth and at the end I was billed and paid $4100. On the first visit, Dr. Ehsan Taher found extra cavity that he decided to fill without even asking me. I was fully awake and conscious and they didn't even ask me. They literally did it without my consent and asked for an extra $331. Also, on the second visit, the re-charged me for $220 for tooth re-contouring while I was already charged on the first visit. I paid it twice and they were unwilling to return it. On Each visit, they charged me $40 for examination while it’s part of treatment in all other dental clinics. At the end, because I refused to pay extra charge for unrequested filling, they sent my invoice to GoBeyond collection and forced me to pay. I already reported Dr. Ehsan Taheri to college of dental surgeons for unrequested treatments.

Fantastic experience: Top quality dental office. They welcomed me the minute I walked in a few years back and not one visit since then was unpleasant. Dr. Taheri is top professional and a nice guy :) Their hygienists are amazing and front staff treat you like family. Raj, who has been my hygienist for a few years, is hands down the best in the biz. I cannot recommend Downtown Dental highly enough, I look forward to every visit knowing I will be treated with respect, prefessionalism and genuine care for my health.
