Fantastic experience: As always, a very good visit with Taylor, hygienist, who is very good at her job! The dentists are very competent and explain everything before recommending if any procedures may be required. No selling here.The front desk staff are welcoming and have the dental Insurance system down pat. Their office on Pacific Boulevard is convenient to transit and st. parking. It’s next to The Roundhouse Community Centre.

Negative experience: This clinic presents well, and I take no pleasure in leaving a one‑star review. Unfortunately, despite appearances, the competency of their dentists is seriously lacking. My family were long‑time patients here. After we moved and began seeing a new dentist, he was alarmed to discover two significant issues that had been entirely missed during our time at Atlantis. I had undiagnosed tongue cancer. My new dentist referred me urgently to a specialist, and I am now scheduled for surgery to remove the affected areas. My wife has been grinding her teeth for some time and requires an urgent night guard to halt the tooth erosion—something that was never identified or addressed by Atlantis. Neither of these serious conditions were acted upon by any of the dentists we saw at Atlantis. There was also inconsistent and uncertain guidance regarding when our young son should begin using fluoride toothpaste from one of the dentists, which further eroded our confidence in the care provided. I strongly recommend that prospective patients consider another dental office with a higher standard of clinical diligence and diagnostic care than we experienced at Atlantis. Fantastic experience: I haven’t been a patient here for very long, but I’ve been very happy with every visit so far. I’ve had several cleanings with hygienist Taylor, and she is always gentle, thorough, and very kind, which makes each visit comfortable. On a previous visit, Dr. Aaron Phan discovered a cracked molar and completed a resin filling, and I was very satisfied with the result. Everyone at this clinic is friendly and professional, and I always look forward to coming back.

Dr. Markus Louie was an icon with his watermelon scrubs hat - very nice and efficient, even squeezing in a quick filling today. Barb was also a delight to talk to while I waited. Ohrun the hygienist also did the gentlest cleaning I’ve ever had done in my life. Would definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I had my first consultation here last Saturday and I was really impressed. The receptionist, was so friendly. The dentist, assistants (Alejandra Corona) and staff were very professional and welcoming. They respect your time — no long waiting, which I really appreciate. Prices are reasonable, they accept Canadian Dental Care Plan and they are very supportive of the Latin community. The equipment is modern, the X-rays were explained in detail, and the overall quality of care is excellent. I can’t wait for my next appointment. 100% recommended!

Fantastic experience: I had a bit of an emergency situation when the temporary crown on my upper front tooth came off last night. I am in town for the long weekend and the *permanent" crown is to be done by my home dentist after I get back. I wasn't sure I could find a dentist on short notice and on the weekend too. A frantic Google search showed that Atlantis was open 7 days a week so I called this (Saturday) morning and was able to get in right away. I saw Dr. Jason Goldthorpe and wow! what an exceptionally great experience it was. He was very friendly and patient centred. He explained clearly what he could do and what it would cost. He was also patient in answering all my questions. Not once did I feel hurried. As to my "emergency", he did not request an X-ray as it was not needed and because he was gluing back the temporary crown that chipped when it came off, he said he could not guarantee that it would hold and so would not charge me for that. At the end all I paid for was the examination. In summary, my experience with Dr. Goldthorpe was one of the best dental or medical care I have ever received. This is because of his friendly demeanour, helpfulness and sensitivity to patient cost implications. If I were living in Vancouver he would definitely be my dentist. I highly highly recommend him. And a huge thank you Dr. Goldthorpe.

Fantastic experience: In Vancouver a couple of days prior to a cruise and developed an unbearable tooth ache and jaw pain.. the day before we’re leaving.. I was able to get an appointment at the Yaletown facility right away in the morning showed up and the receptionist, hygienist and dentist were all super nice even when working on a beautiful Saturday.. turned out I have a cracked tooth, but was able to get antibiotics to prevent an infection and a couple of other prescriptions.. Oh by the way I’m from the US so I had to pay after the appointment and the X-rays and consultation costs were more than fair - $129.00 Canadian or $100 bucks US funds…. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this dentist for 5 years now and I’ve never had anything but a positive experience. I went in for a regular checkup today, and the staff was welcoming, as always, and the wait today wasn’t long, even though they were very busy. The dental hygienist was thorough, courteous, and friendly, and I left feeling confident in my dental care. I’ve had Invisalign, and a custom mouthguard done here, and have always felt this location and those working here have gone above and beyond to ensure my teeth are healthy and well looked after. I choose Atlantis Dental due to is convenient location, but I’ll never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Today, I had exceptional experience at Atlantis Dental’s Vancouver Yaletown clinic(1278 Pacific Blvd.). The entire team was great, from the receptionist to the dental assistant who welcomed me and made me comfortable throughout my visit. I was nervous coming in after many delays and procrastination in seeing a dentist. Dr. Farid Habibian, with his empathetic approach, easily alleviated my anxiety, making this, for me scary experience, more pleasant. He is exceptionally skilled, explained the procedure clearly, and addressed all of my concerns patiently. Dr. Habibian doesn’t rush to finish; he takes time to listen to his patients, which unfortunately is not always the case in doctors’ offices. I highly recommend Atlantis Dental Yaletown practice and Dr. Farid if you seek quality dental care.

Fantastic experience: It’s not everywhere you end up finding the perfect dental clinic with great care and attention for their patient’s dental health and comfort. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and professional! I usually get anxious when getting anything done at dental clinics, but the whole staff at Atlantis are amazing! I’ve never had any post dental treatment issues and always leave very satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I had a Veneer pop right off. Needed a Dentist ASAP. Got in to see Dr Aaron next day. He was amazing, both he and his assistant were very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend for dental and cosmetic.

Negative experience: I got my regular teeth cleaning and was offered a complimentary iTero scan. I guess in their books, "complimentary" means charging my insurance company and I pay a fraction of it. The hygienist even repeated the words "complimentary" 3x just to make me feel more at ease. Called my insurance company and they advised this as a fraudulent claim as I never agreed to claiming for this scan. Also, good thing my partner works in the industry and caught this mishap. I've changed dental clinics ever since. Please double check your bill and invoice on what you actually get charged, you have been warned!!

The exam by the dentist was thorough - not the usual fly-by rush - and he gave me a few smart tips. The cleaning by Kelly was the best I’ve ever had - no hacking away at my teeth with a shovel. Better equipment. No pain. I loved not being sold on Invisalign or other procedures. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Dr.Tom Karkanis for about 3 years. He is the best dentist I've ever had. I have a high level of anxiety, so I had a hard time at dentistry before being his patient, but Dr.Tom is so nice, calm, kind and professional that my stress level is considerably reduced when he is working on my teeth with his great expertise and nice and caring manner. The assistant that worked with him today, was also awesome, but unfortunately, I forgot her name. All in all, Atlantis Dental has a great team.

I have also had crowns and an implant done by Dr Tom and he did a great job at both as I can now eat granola without any worries! Fantastic experience: I cracked a tooth during dinner and needed urgent attention. I checked around and Atlantis replied promptly to their online booking system with an appointment for the following morning. Once I confirmed they provided follow-up by email and a call. This was all done efficiently and respectfully. The visit itself was exceptionally pleasant starting with the initial greeting. I was seen almost immediately by the bright and friendly dental assistant and found myself in a spotless and well-equipped examination room. Dr. Aaron Phan did the actual exam. I am not especially afraid of being in a dentist chair but Dr. Phan made me the most comfortable I've ever felt in that situation. He put me at ease by paying attention to everything I said and he neatly summarized the options for my tooth, including volunteering the associated costs. He accepted my preference for a temporary cosmetic solution until a new tooth was made. He then performed a totally painless repair. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with my examination and cleaning appointment recently. The staff were very nice and professional. I really appreciated Dr.Jason Goldthorpe's kindness and professionalism and his assistance, Alejandra. As I arrived at the office, Alejandra welcomed me warmly, explained the process for my visit and answered my questions. Dr. Jason was the friendliest dentist I've had so far, he took the time to walk me through the pictures Alejandra just took of my jaws and teeth, explained everything clearly and provided helpful insights on the options to take better care of my teeth. My cleaning treatment was also a great experience with a very nice and friendly technician whose name I have unfortunately forgotten. She took the time to perform a proper cleaning for me and gave me great tips for the overall mouth and teeth hygiene. I highly recommend them all to anyone who wants to have a perfect experience at a dentist's office.

Fantastic experience: Ive been been going to Atlantis Dental for quite a few years and it's one of the best dental offices that I've ever been in and I've been in a lot of offices over the years. The reason I say this is because of the staff. If I had to compare their office to something, i’d have to say either West Jet or Coast Capital as it's not uptight and they make you feel very comfortable. Part of the clan so to speak which is important because I'm like most, I can think of a lot of other places i’d rather be than the dentist. The staff are very easygoing. They listen to your concerns no matter how insignificant and fix it. That's awesome! Another reason is that they laugh at my jokes and that's golden in my books.

Fantastic experience: Just moved downtown and was looking for a new dentist office. After doing some research, I found the reviews to be very high and hoped it was all true. I was greeted by the two most beautiful and professional receptionists. named Evangeline and Crissie. After 5 min, I was led to my dental hygienist Taylor who was exceptional! Never seen my teeth this sparkly before!! Waited to meet Dr Jason and he was also very friendly, explained what he’d be doing which is always a bonus when they actually teach you about your teeth instead of attack and send you on your way! Pretty high tech instruments that I’ve never seen before as well. I left there feeling so lucky to have found this office and their amazing team. Going to the dentist can actually be a fun experience when you find a caring, talented team! Highly recommend and the 5 stars are all true :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for about 2 years now and I’m genuinely happy with everything! Every hygienist I met was kind, caring and informative. Dr. Jason is super friendly and I really appreciate him being transparent about fees. Would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: In my opinion, Dr. Jason Goldthorpe is the star of this establishment. He's always patient, understanding, curious and supportive. I had come to him as a difficult case, where I had really ill-fitting crowns & bridges since age 20, so most of my adult life I had "ugly" teeth and wanted to get the look of my original teeth back. It took 1 year and 2 different dental labs to achieve this, not to mention the countless hours of work it require, but in the end, I have my perfect smile and I couldn't be happier! Thank you, Dr. Jason and his team for all your hard work and patience with me on this! I also would like to second the comments on the hygienists in this place. I'm really sensitive due to a chronic illness and I can honestly say that they have been wonderfully diligent in working around it. They are super gentle, kind and attentive. I have moved to the suburbs and now it takes me 1.5 hours to come into the office, but I'm so happy with this dental office that I keep coming back and will continue to do so!
