Negative experience: Both dental fillings broke after a year, shaping was done twice and poorly , I started to have problems with flossing after the procedure. Clinic is taking patients over its capacity. During the procedure dentist needed to leave see other patients thrice…

Fantastic experience: I found a same day appointment and I really needed one as I was in pain since 3 days. The staff is very warm, welcoming and friendly. My doctor, Leslie Laloum and her assistant nurse both were very friendly and guided me very well. Answered all my questions patiently and smilingly. Prices for my check up were reasonable too. The secretaries are very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this centre for dental care. This is was my first dental check up in Montreal since I moved recently but I am happy I found this place.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had one of the best experiences at this dental clinic, from the moment i walked into the clinic I received a very welcoming greeting from the staff at the reception. They were very professional with dealing with my insurance and made sure to send an estimate before my appointment to make sure i’m covered for my treatment. I was immediately walked into the dental room to start my treatment, the waiting time was really short and Dr Coussa’s assistant was very thorough with her explanation and answering any questions I had about the treatment. The whole procedure with Dr Coussa was very fast and pain-free. I can confidently say it was the best treatment I’ve received, I’ve never felt that at ease at any other dental clinic before. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: It blows me away how this place has so many good reviews. Went here for the first time last year. I’m a student by the way. Scheduled for a cleaning and consultation with the dentist. Not sure if the lady cleaning my teeth was new or something because she kept telling me to move my head every minute, it was extremely irritating, it was as if she couldn’t bother to move her body let alone her hands to reach all the corners of my mouth… she scraped my teeth for almost 30 minutes and kept moving slowly as if she was exhausted. Finally when she stopped scraping she went to go get the dentist only to come back and say he left on his lunch break. Absolutely hilarious, did he not know he had an appointment to care to? So i had to pay for a mediocre cleaning and a no show dentist. My teeth still felt dirty after leaving. Was my first time there and definitely my last. Only good thing was the ladies at the desk were nice, otherwise complete garbage.

Negative experience: this is an assembly line work care, they inject you and go extract someone else, and meanwhile you are waiting the dentist to come back but he is busy treating someone else. Not good at all ! they are good at extracting teeth! in 2025 we should not be extracting teeth! the star is only for the clean space!

I also had a root canal with Dr. Mohammed Al Hayyani and his assistant Maral, and I can honestly say Dr. Mohammed is one of a kind. I was really scared since it was my very first root canal, but he made the entire experience so much easier than I expected. He was incredibly smooth and professional, and he took the time to explain everything before and after the procedure so I always knew what to expect. Negative experience: Please read carefully. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. First of all, the high number of stars here feels completely far from the experience I had. The ratings are extremely misleading and that’s the only reason I decided to go there in the first place. My experience started poorly with the receptionist. I specifically requested an appointment with Dr. Coussa, but I was told he was very busy and that I should choose another dentist. When I insisted on seeing him, the receptionist suddenly told me the earliest available appointment would be two months later, even though I was in pain. I waited the two months, went in for my appointment, and to my surprise, I was placed with a completely different dentist. I could hardly believe it. Because I was already in pain, I had no choice but to continue. Communication was difficult because the dentist spoke mostly French and limited English, and I left without feeling like my concerns were fully understood. Unfortunately, this was not the end. At my next appointment, I once again expected to finally see Dr. Coussa, yet they placed me with another different dentist, not even the one from the previous visit. During a filling procedure, after taking an X-ray, we saw a big hole that had been left inside the tooth (the filling material was not compressed properly). Instead of re-doing the filling by removing it and correcting the problem, the dentist tried to heat, melt and press down the material with a tool like a screwdriver that felt extremely hot. My mouth was burned, and I almost couldn’t eat anything for nearly two weeks. The pressure on my jaw was so intense that it felt like it might dislocate. It was one of the most uncomfortable dental experiences I’ve ever had. Now let me talk about the prices. At first, I thought there was a problem with my insurance because I am covered for 80%. Later, I realized the real issue was that the clinic’s fees were far higher than typical rates in my area. For example, if something normally costs around $800, they might charge $1,200, so the insurance only reimburses 80% of $800, the reasonable price, and the rest comes out of your pocket. I’m not talking about a small difference like 5% or 10%, the overcharge is huge. Eventually, I did meet Dr. Coussa on the next visit. He did the anesthetic injection and told me he would return in 5 minutes. Instead, he came back 42 minutes later. And this wasn’t they only time it happened; from what I saw, most of the dentists in this center frequently leave the room to treat other patients while you’re being charged as a time unit. At least they can be honest. At this point, I have already paid so much for X-rays, initial consultations, and partial treatments that I feel stuck, because starting with a new clinic means paying everything again. But honestly, I think it is time to move on. My final advice: in my personal opinion, DO NOT GO THERE.

Negative experience: The cleaning was in depth and thorough, however after I disclosed my opinion on dental X-Ray being mandatory at every other appointment the hygienist when on a diatribe on why I was wrong. This lasted the entire session and got very uncomfortable to the point that she was insinuating I may or may not have gum cancer, mentioning I would lose all my teeth by age 70 and it went on, completely attacking me and attending to frighten me. She then went on why are dentist legally obliged to do so as they could be sued....This is Québec, not the USA.... Anyways, if this is facts then a simple release liability waiver could suffice for a patient to refuse X-Ray as a norm on a dental appointment. And more importantly, we have the right to disagree with something without being vilify while sitting in a chair having someone working in our mouth for an hour.....

Positive experience: Been coming here for the last 3 years and it’s always been a decent experience. However I’ve had a few issues pop up over the last couple years I wish their xray room had a curtain or a door to provide some privacy from the patients waiting in the reception area. It’s very embarrassing to have X-rays shoved up your mouth where everyone can see! I had a horrible experience last year where the hygienist couldn’t capture the right X-rays and she had me sit there for almost 30 minutes rearranging the machine in my mouth (where it felt like everyone could see) and it was painful and uncomfortable My most recent cleaning visit last week was also less than ideal. The hygienist worked for 30-40 min straight cleaning my teeth without giving me a break (or the chance to even ask for one) and now I’m left with pain in my right cheek where I think she scraped through some skin on my cheek and tongue while in a rush. It hurts to eat and drink still and it’s been over 4 days since my appointment. I’m Considering looking for other dentists in my area as this has been a couple of bad experiences in a row with this place

Negative experience: While the deep scaling which is basically a cleaning for folks like myself who have periodontal disease was done thoroughly, I specifically asked to not be overloaded on local anesthesia.Two hours later my face is still frozen and I can barely speak.I have had these procedures done over the years and a pinch of anesthesia did the trick. Now I can't even work today. Not returning.

Every staff member was extremely kind and helpful, from the reception to the assistants, hygienists, and dentists. Although it’s not a pediatric-only clinic, they have wonderful details for children: lots of patience, toys and entertainment, and even small gifts. I really appreciated that! Negative experience: ​I am writing this review to share my horrible experience at this dental clinic. I went in to have a tooth extracted, and after the procedure, the doctor took two X-rays and told me everything was done. ​A year later, I started feeling pain and discomfort in the same area, so I went to a different dentist for a second opinion. They took a 3D scan and immediately identified the problem: the root of my tooth was still in my jaw.

Fantastic experience: Ive been to many different dentist before, had root canal treatment but of all of them Dr. Coussa at Oracare is the best. I will keep going there. 5star

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. I went in to get fillings for my teeth, and it ended up feeling worse than having cavities. How is that even possible? When I returned for a follow-up and explained to Dr. Leslie where I was still feeling discomfort after the initial filling, I felt like I wasn't being heard. Instead of addressing the area I pointed out, Dr. Leslie worked on the teeth above—even though I had clearly said the pain was in the lower area. (For context, I had fillings done on the left side of my jaw, both upper and lower.) I’ve had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Coussa years ago and he was great. This was the reason I decided to come back but I won’t be returning again.

Edit: Wanted to add an update for the days following the surgery as things are still going well. No bleeding, next to no swelling and absolutely no pain at all. Fantastic experience: Excellent service & staff, always kind and helpful. I had to get some fillings done, they did quality work + i wasn’t there for long. One thing i love about ORACARE is, they do it all, from cavities fix to dental implants, even Invisalign treatment and more. You don't need to go to three different dental clinics to fix a specific matter.
