Fantastic experience: Dr. Dave Dacombe is Amazing! I first met him when he kindly squeezed me in when my regular dentist of 17 years wouldn’t help with my emergency. His kindness and caring immediately made him my new dentist. I’ve seen him many times since and he and his staff are wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Dave!

September 9 2025 Another great visit from Odyssey Dental, contacted them last night and they contacted me this morning, they accommodated me and got me in right away, I am very Appreciative and grateful to have the amazing Staff at Odyssey and very lucky to be a patient . Fantastic experience: Brief encounters for me at two recent visits, but after these appointments, I am changing from an office minutes away from home to drive into the city for Odyssey. My other experience at Odyssey was related to a dental emergency that couldn’t be handled here in town. I was so grateful and impressed that I wrote a glowing review in thanks. I should have switched after that visit. In trying to refrain from gushing, I’ll just say that the team at this office is streamlined and efficient, yet in no way do you feel like a number when under their care. Also, they don’t look at your open mouth like an open wallet. Their transparency highlighted two money grabs from my now ex-provider. Finances aside, what I appreciate most about my experience here is a calibre of professionalism that now has feels from another time. Not pre-COVID, but pre-pre-COVID. If you’re Gen X or older, you’ll know what I mean. If you’re younger, check it out. See what it’s like when a doctor sits down and focusedly speaks with you, then goes out of their way to solve your problem! Or when understandable chitchat between staff does not negate focus on the healthcare at hand. (I don’t care if the people working on a tooth are talking, but when the filling falls out a handful of months later, I’m rather sure that your intense discussion about charcuterie boards took precedence! Haha) Anyway, that’s my long and drawn out two cents.

Fantastic experience: I feel bad that I cannot recall practitioners’ names to thank, but I was fairly stressed by an unfamiliar office under the duress of having lost a filling over a long weekend. The dental assistant was just lovely. Personable and set me right at ease. The dentist was friendly and professional. Both explained everything very clearly and checked in with me re. comfort, questions. etc. through every step of treatment. The drilling and filling part of my tooth was done within the span of Benny and the Jets. Yes, one Elton John song and done! I am so appreciative that Rhonda from Lorette Dental helped me get an appointment here (and seamlessly sent over all my insurance info.!!) to get my sore mouth fixed up.
