Fantastic experience: I recently visited Greenwood Dental on Regent Ave to get a filling done, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. Dr. Omar and the entire team made what could have been an anxiety-inducing appointment feel completely comfortable and stress-free. The staff were exceptionally friendly from start to finish — always smiling, attentive, and genuinely caring. Dr. Omar was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. A huge thank you to Dr. Omar and the whole Greenwood Dental team on Regent Ave — you've earned a patient for life! Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patients.

Negative experience: Absolutely WORST experience yesterday March/5th/2026 with DR JIWON KIM I Wouldnt even consider him a dr. The first part of the cleaning with they hygienist was great! When dr jiwon kim came in was when the real mess happened my appt was at 4 he came in 4:30 was he was already in a complete rush to get out before even starting any work. I had mention to 3 people why I was there he didn't even care to look or read the work before starting he completely ruined my two front teeth! they are uneven one is longer than the other and my bite is wavy off he grinned my real teeth down I cannot get that back! Not mention As I told him he got super agitated / angry , sighing so heavily and his attitude towards me the whole time was disgusting made me so uncomfortable. He had left the room without finishing or referring me to a real professional to fix what he ruined! My appt was done 4:50 after he left the room before finishing . I was already so self conscious thinking I was going to get them fixed he made them completely worse and hope they are fixable. Also what was very concerning thing is he thought I was already one of his patients, I told him this is my first time here! He changed his attitude a bit and said oh! I thought you were already one of my patients so what does that mean do you have resentment to your other patient? Worst experience ever at the dentist and I love the dentist ! I Honestly might even look into suing. I was completely shocked tjat actually happened had a melt down along with a panic attack. Will never be back at this place.

Fantastic experience: I brought my mom who been having a lot a pain on her tooth and she want to pull her tooth out and what a great experience with Dr. Kim what and amazing human being and doctor. I really recommend him.

Negative experience: They canceled my appointment without any prior notice, and their attitude in handling the issue was very unprofessional. I asked whether someone else had booked that time slot before me, but they refused to give a direct answer. The only response I kept receiving was, “I’m sorry this happened,” without any real effort to look into the matter or help resolve it.

Negative experience: Bad experience here. Dentist never introduced himself, was very rough. I told that the filling wasn't filed down properly and felt rough. Approx. 3 days after my filling, it broke right off and another dentist fixed it for me free of charge.

Negative experience: My nephew went to get his wisdom teeth out and is very anxious about dental visits. They didn’t put him to sleep. They only froze it and he could feel a lot of pain. He opted out of getting the other one out and they laughed at him and asked if he was scared. Of course he was afraid. He had to ask the dentist for his antibiotics and pain meds before he left. He won’t ever go back there. Very unprofessional. He will look for another dentist.

Negative experience: While the staff at the Regent location were transparent about their pricing before I paid, I’m disappointed in the overall value compared to other clinics. ​I was charged nearly $500 for orthodontic records (X-rays and photos) that I later found out are typically offered for free at other local orthodontists as part of a consultation package. Additionally, I felt my first visit to their Portage location was unnecessary, as I was charged for an exam and an X-ray only to be told the dentist wasn't an orthodontist and couldn't help me. ​The clinic did provide the services I paid for, but I’ve since learned that you can get the same diagnostic work elsewhere without the high out-of-pocket cost. If you are looking for Invisalign, I highly recommend getting a second opinion elsewhere first to save yourself a few hundred dollars.

Negative experience: I went to greenwood for a couple of appointments. My last appointment was 9 months ago. I booked my next appointment for Feb 3rd 2026 at 6 pm. On Jan 21 2026 I received a voicemail asking to confirm the appointment for February 3rd at 6:00 pm. When I called to confirm they then told me I didn’t have an appointment and it was just a pre booking. I explained all bookings are “pre bookings” as that is what a booking is. Why call me and ask me to confirm my appointment for that day at the time I selected 9 months prior only then to tell me I actually don’t have that appointment. This is one of the worst dental offices I have been to, with what seems like all dentist straight out of dental school and a support staff that has no clue what they are doing.

Negative experience: The process and service overall were very inefficient. My files weren't requested/transferred prior to my first official appointment (it was totally disappointing!), it was a wasted visit and had to reschedule. Next visit, I was charged for an exam that was essentially seemed like a brief meet & greet (nothing like anything was accomplished), with no effort to verify insurance coverage or check with my previous dentist/files when prior exams are done. I realized this after the appointment, when I called the insurance company and they informed me that pre-authorization could have been done by the dental company. Files could have been reviewed as well during the transfer. My previous provider have done all the courtesy checks to making sure sufficient coverage (even for exams), they would assess and communicate if there will be charges needed to be paid out of pocket. And to add to my disappointment, my husband had experienced similar inefficiencies. He had his first visit, followed up several times for a quotation and pre-authorization. Multiple people was handling the case and everyone was giving inconsistent information. We were told to call the insurance company again and again as the receptionist said it wouldn't be fully covered (which to be honest, we never made the calls directly to our insurance before), and to our surprise, the insurance company didn't receive any pre-authorization from the clinic and has confirmed that service will be covered upto the balance remaining. There were too many back and forths, until we received a pre-authorization online a few days ago but clinic has not reached out yet. I took the liberty to inquire during my visit about the costs quoted for my husband's procedure where lab fees are significantly higher than our previous provider. Even the exam that I paid out of pocket were twice as much. The ads looked very promising online, but unfortunately, it felt like transferring would have been a wrong choice. Overall, service and transparency did not meet our expectations.

Negative experience: I visited this dental clinic and I am very happy with the service. The staff was super friendly, everything was done very well, and I really liked it. Highly recommend! _____ I originally left a positive review right after my appointment at this clinic. However, after some time, I feel the need to update it. Unfortunately, the tooth that was treated here started hurting afterwards. My teeth have never hurt before — even when I needed a filling — so this was unexpected for me. I had three fillings done within one hour. In Europe, one filling usually took about the same amount of time, and those fillings have lasted me for years without any problems. Compared to my other teeth, the fillings done at this clinic don’t seem to be of the same quality. I chose this clinic because of the high Google ratings, but now I understand why they have so many 5-star reviews. After the procedure, patients are given a small gift card, which definitely influences the ratings — and I was one of the people who left a positive review because of that. For these reasons, I am updating my review. _____ But even now, I feel that this place focuses more on the number of patients than on the quality of care. Unfortunately, having a problem after the treatment, I would choose a different clinic now.
