Fantastic experience: I had an infected tooth. They got me in right away, did X-rays and extracted it. After the freezing was out I had almost no pain and the swelling went down quickly. Allison did a great job! Thank you!

Negative experience: Unprofessional Behavior at the Reception on 26th Feb 2026 I have been visiting this dental clinic since 2022 and have always appreciated the professionalism and care of Dr. Mang and the nurses. However, during my appointment today at 4:15 PM, I experienced extremely unprofessional and rude behavior from the receptionist. I arrived at the clinic around 3:30 PM and waited patiently. Despite my appointment being at 4:15 PM, I was not called in on time, while other patients (who were Canadians) were attended to promptly. When I politely asked the receptionist about my appointment, she said they were cleaning. Later, I noticed she was eating food delivered to the clinic and had forgotten to sign me in. After my hygiene appointment, I reminded her that I had a scheduled cleaning and requested to be seen as planned. I waited an additional 30 minutes and had to remind her again politely. Her response was shocking: she said, in a firm tone, that healthcare in Canada is not punctual and asked if I wanted to stay or leave. At that point, I was so disappointed that I decided to leave. I am extremely disappointed because Dr. Mang and the nurses are always very professional and caring, but this receptionist’s rude and careless behavior completely undermined my experience. I hope the clinic addresses this issue so that other patients are not treated in the same manner.

Fantastic experience: Lost a childhood filling and tooth was starting to hurt. I called and got an appointment the next day. Dr. Barry was patient and kind with me, as I have a dentist phobia. Was able to get procedure done promptly and I am satisfied with the results. I have been going to Mang Dental Group for many years now and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Another great great experience with dentist visit.! Everything highly professional, considerate and helpful.. From the moment I entered the office to the time I left, it left me with a calming and positive feeling. From the artwork on almost every wall outside of the individual rooms, to the advanced and overall office environment, to the front desk administrative assistants, to the hygienist and dentist, everything was most appreciated. I felt the care I got was 100%.

Fantastic experience: My dental hygienist was Myrtle, who was friendly, efficient, and professional. My dental checkup was done by Dr. Mang (senior) who I believe is the only male member of the practice. Also very friendly and professional. A slight error was made in my bill, and when I noticed it and called back later, it was promptly corrected and a small refund processed immediately. Overall, I am very satisfied with the care I received there.

Negative experience: There's absolutely no doubt, they do terrific work and are nothing but well-trained professionals but don't you dare miss an appointment! Mang Dental Group were my dentists for close to 30 years but in March of this year I had an appointment booked with them which I was unable to keep because Regina received freezing rain overnight. As I was driving to their office for my appointment I was rear-ended at an intersection and while at the scene I phoned to let them know. Upon picking up the call I was asked if I could hold. I said yes. I was still on hold for now eight minutes later when a police person came to speak with me and so I had to hang up. I called their office days later to explain and was greeted by a very nice woman who expressed sympathy for me and told me she totally understood and that they would get me fixed right up with a new appointment. Regrettably due to an accident early morning on the day of my re-booked appointment, I had to miss that appointment in favour of visiting the hospital. I called Mang Dental Group immediately after leaving the hospital but this time before I could even explain my absence, the woman who answered the phone going solely by my name alone, told me that I had missed several appointments and because of that she was going to have to call me back. She hung up and never called me back. Today, a week later, I received a letter in the mail letting me know that they have decided I am no longer a patient of their clinic due to a history of missed appointments. To my recollection, looking back over the 30+ years I can think of only a couple of other times where I may have missed an appointment and just as many times as that might be, I am certain I also left work on the spur of the moment when they happened to call me to tell me they had a sudden cancellation and wanted to know if I could come in and take the spot, which I did. I realise they are operating a business and missed appointments means missed income that a dentist could have earned. Everyone needs to make their money, but I find their rejection letter expressing concern for my dental health asinine. When one considers the length of time I was a patient, the fact that they gave me no warning whatsoever that any previously missed appointments were of a concern to them, and how quickly it went from totally understanding that accidents can happen to nope, your membership has been revoked, it does leave one wondering just how professional some parts of their company are.

Fantastic experience: I had an absessed molar, of course over the weekend. I was in so much pain, that on Sunday I left a message with Mang Dental Group. Monday morning at 7:03am (they open at 7am!) they called me. I got squeezed in at 9:30 with Dr Barry Mang and assistant Twyla. Omg... I was treated like royalty! They explained everything to me, showed me the x-ray and were very patient with me. I had to have it extracted. Dr Barry was very professional and really knows what he's doing!! Don’t get on your case about not brushing or flossing properly…yes you are treated as an adult 3. Fantastic experience: After many years and many dentists who didn’t listen to me about freezing not taking and suffering through procedures - this office did listen and they didn’t make me feel like a nuisance. The staff and dentists were kind and patient. I was told by a different dentist I needed an endodontist for my root canal but Dr A did it herself and I had zero pain during and very little soreness after. The filling was discovered to be needed during a routine exam. They were able to accommodate me on that same day. This office is able to directly bill my health insurance which is very convenient.

Negative experience: I went in because I had an infected tooth and wanted to have it pulled and needed antibiotics. So a dentist referred me to an oral surgeon to pull that tooth and others. but she done all the fillings I needed on my right top jaw before I got in to get the teeth removed. I went in on the 14th of November to get these fillings. Since then I have barely any movement in the right side of my face from below the eye until my top lip. It had been almost 2 weeks with not much change and I didn’t expect this to last this long so went back to have her look at it. And all she could say is that “Lyme disease can cause that” when I’ve struggled Lyme disease (the bacterial infection Borrelia) for over 7 years and NEVER ONCE experienced being unable to move or control half my face. And that doesn’t even make sense because why would this happen in the exact same area I was frozen to have fillings done. And I think just because I said I have Lyme diseaseI I was being treated like like I’m stupid. The only reason I originally mentioned I have the disease is because it’s a factor in my medical history and I know another woman with the same illness who had teeth pulled who then had been treated years before and then got those teeth pulled and it caused the dormant borrelia to flare up again…….She said because the bacteria hides in the biofilm of teeth. And when getting teeth pulled it can reintroduce the bacteria back into the blood stream. So in my case I have to be very cautious about getting teeth removed. I wasn’t ever worried about getting fillings done because I’ve had many fillings done over the years with absolutely no issues or complications. until November 14th when I got three fillings done and was frozen with local freezing 4 times. I haven’t been able to move that side of my face. Of course I’m worried because I don’t know how long this will last or if I’ll have to live with a partially paralyzed face for the rest of my life. I don’t know if it’s permanent nerve damage with how long this is lasting and I’ve never heard of anyone having this complication and I don’t know what to do. I’ve seen a doctor who told me to go back to the dentist and the dentist played it off like it was nothing and tried to blame the illness I have had for 7 years that never once caused an issue like this and I have been treated for. And I’ve had my wisdom teeth removed since then and luckily had no complications with that. But I still have barely any movement or feeling in the area of my face that was frozen on November 14th when I got the fillings. I don’t feel that this is being taken seriously and don’t feel right about how my appointment to get it looked at went.

Fantastic experience: I struggle with going to the dentist, and used to have to take medication even before having a cleaning done but the team at Mang made me so comfortable, I didn’t need to take anything! Because I needed some work done, I did take medication for my follow-up appointment and the incredible staff made sure that I was comfortable and calm before starting the work. Fantastic experience: Reception was very good at keeping me informed about upcoming procedure. She networked with the Dr. J. McIntosh & Dr. A. Mang. They came up with a plan with my doctor regarding medication that I am on. They contacted my pharmacy to send my prescription in and addressed which day I was going to pick it up. On the day of the procedure, I was feeling anxious, and the hygienist went out of her way to make sure I was informed and feeling comfortable. Dr.A. Mang went over why I needed the procedure done and was very efficient with her work. She showed compassion during the procedure and gave me a comprehensive explanation to close how everything went. The hygienist went over post op procedures with me and gave me a plan of action in case anything were to go wrong in the future days. All team members were effective at their jobs and made me feel comfort & care.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client with this dental firm for a number of years. All of the staff, especially Barry & Allison Mang (both dentists) are very respectful and helpful. When dealing with needing dental procedures, all the options are explored and recommendations are provided. They are not pushy and recommend what is best for the customer. If something needs to be done, they do it with the consent of the patient. If it can wait, they also provide that choice. I would definitely recommend this dental business.

Fantastic experience: My story begins a long time ago when I had a tooth filled that was very deep by a great dentist I had been seeing for many many years After he retired, I ended up with another dentist that took over his practice. After I had been going to my new dentist for a while, I needed to get a crown put on a tooth on my lower jaw, but was threatened by this new dentist that he wasn't going to put the crown on the lower tooth unless I put a crown on the tooth that had the deep filling, even though it didn't bother me at all. Otherwise he would just fill the tooth that should be getting the crown. So when I went back to get the filling, I was told it must have been a mix up in communication and could get the crown put on the bad tooth. I got it done, but really didn't appreciate they way I was treated and actually ended up with a small numb part on the front of my jaw from the application of the crown. I was commenting to a friend about my experience and she suggested I go try Dr Mang and it was the best decision I have ever made. They are trustworthy and very good at their jobs. I have never felt that I've been pressured to get any unnecessary work done on my teeth. And...I still have the tooth that the other dentist said I had to have crowned and it still doesn't bother me.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday at Mang Dental Group. I worried about the pain of this for the couple months I had before the appointment. While the extraction itself was uncomfortable after the freezing wore off, there has been no pain. I don't think this is usual and maybe the pain sets in at some point but I'm extremely grateful for this situation. Can they be that good?

Fantastic experience: It all started when dr Scheurwater helped us out on Xmas eve last year, when my husbands wisdom tooth was trying to come in and caused infection she saved our Christmas. Now we’ve all been seeing her there, my 3 year old has had a cleaning and a cavity fixed up and the ladies were UNREAL! Soooo sweet with her and made her so comfortable she loves the dentist now. The front desk staff are insanely friendly and kind and everyone just all around is amazing there! 20/10 recommend!!!!!

Fantastic experience: On June 24th i went in to The Mang Dental Group for teeth cleaning as i have in the past with normal expectations for a professional friendly experience✅ Well my expectations were blown out of the water with a completely new experience: I was taken to a new room for an Xray surround picture of my complete jaw and teeth…never had that before…completely new technology and completed in a few minutes. Then the cleaning began with a very efficient and friendly female staff member … which started with more side xrays of my teeth! Followed by tooth scraping and flushing and laughing…yes you heard me right laughing with my mouth open, and teeth being picked and scraped with sharp pointy tools!! We were discussing our pets, she has a cat, and, we just got a newfoundland dog,‍ and we were sharing some funny stories about them in our family life. I just had to laugh at her stories sbout her cat and her two daughters episodes Anyway before i could say, Jack Russel, a new male dentist came in and gave my mouth a very thourough inspection, inside and out….the most thourough inspection that i have ever had, with explanations, and answers to my questions. He asked me if i had any concerns: i said that i did and it was about the outcome of the Game 7 of The Stanley Cup Final… we both had a good jolly langh about that‼️ I liked the new dentist and his friendly professional service of my teeth. After he left, the cleaning technician asked me what flavour of tooth enamel protection that i would like, ofcourse i asked her to list the flavours: i picked Carmel favour, and it tastes great! I thanked her for cleaning my teeth and being so socially friendly and for the chuckles that we shared together.✅ This was by far the best dental experience that i have ever had.✅⏰️⛏️ After thinking about why this was such a memorable pleasant experience, i came to the realization that it is the people that The Mang Dental Group has hired, they make the difference‼️ I recommend The Mang Group for caring for you and your teeth. With them, your teeth and you are in good hands.✅
