Recently I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Peter, he was kind, and helped reassure me about the procedure, took the time to explain the process, and even threw in some dentist jokes! Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: My son came in after a fall that left him with swollen lips and a lost tooth, and he was very scared about having his teeth cleaned. His hygienist (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) was incredibly gentle and patient. She did a great job helping him calm down and relax, and it made a stressful situation so much easier for him.

Fantastic experience: Once again, a wonderful experience for my 7 year old granddaughter, Sydney at her dentist visit today with Dr. Hasso. Even an extraction. He gave her 3 choices, and the last one being magic and feeling no pain. Sydney chose Magic , and just like that she didn't feel a thing, because unbeknownst by her , Dr. Hasso had already removed the tooth. He is an amazing Doctor and has always for a few years now continues to be incredible with my granddaughter. Thank you to all the staff for always being so kind and friendly, special thanks to Dr. Hasso's assistant today. Amazing with children and helped make a tooth extraction today fun and relaxing.

Fantastic experience: I experienced severe pain Friday night and couldn’t sleep. My wife called Dental Harmony, and Dr. Ritesh kindly arranged to see me right away on Saturday morning. He thoroughly examined my situation, explained my options clearly, and handled everything with professionalism and care. I’ve seen all the dentists at Dental Harmony over time, and they have consistently been friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Harmony Dental for many years. Recently Dr Melissa helped fix a massive chip in my molar. She was super friendly and very professional. The point I really enjoyed was the fact that she offered detailed explanation and warning at every point of the procedure. I liked to be informed while they do the work. She and the team at Harmony Dental are fantastic. Update: yesterday I had a cleaning and Pam did an amazing job. She did a combination of water scaling and manual scaling = my teeth never looked so clean.

Fantastic experience: Everyone who works at this location is friendly, kind, and helpful. I had a huge fear of the dentist before coming to this office. They are slowly taking that fear away. They talk me through anything they are doing. I have seen both Dr. Peter and Dr. Ritesh and they are both great. Dr. Ritesh always makes sure to ask me if I am doing okay and gives me little breaks. He jokes around, he laughs, he is caring and always takes the time to chat with me. Every hygienist I have had is also very friendly. The ladies who work the desk are very helpful. If you have to go to a dentist....this is the one you want!

Fantastic experience: I just had a root canal done by Dr. Michael and as usual with any dental work I was very nervous. The lightheartedness between him and the staff is wonderful. The work that he performed was nothing short of a “10”. It is now the next morning and I have no pain whatsoever in this tooth! I don’t remember having this great of a feeling after leaving a dentist before. Thank you so much to Dr. Michael and the team at Harmony Dental. I have found my forever home!!

I guess this would be called bedside manners (dentist chair manners), and Dr. Kim is exactly what patients want. Nobody "enjoys" the dentist chair, but this team, including the front office, sure makes the visit smooth and pleasant. Always a pleasure. Actually 10/10 satisfaction rating.

Fantastic experience: Update: once again exceptional service! I just had a wonderful experience with Ms Souhad (hygienist) and dr. Ritesh. Both extremely friendly and competent. She was amazingly gentle during the cleaning and did an outstanding job including on my implants. Not everyone can properly clean implants, she did it with no pain! As usual I got very nice advice too! Thank you Harmony Dental for your professionalism and care. You make Oshawa proud. ❤️ This was my first experience with this clinic (note during COVID era, 2 visits in total). The reception staff is wonderful, very patient and helpful. I was impressed with Dr. Ritesh Briah's exceptional work, he may look young but he definitely knows what he is doing. I love the fact that he shows the pics before/after and that he explains everything during the process. He was also very careful once I told him I was very sensitive to pain. I also liked the fact that he told me the estimate time and cost of the process before hand so I was prepared in both ways. His assistants are also amazing, very helpful and friendly. I totally recommend dr. Ritesh and the clinic.

Fantastic experience: I've been procrastinating finding a new family dentist, having moved to the are 3 years ago. I kept commuting over an hour away but on Monday it felt like one of my crowns had broken. I messaged the office late at night to enquire about new patient options and got a reply first thing in the morning and wad squeezed in at 10.30am. I was suspicious of this being too good. So imagine my utter joy when I got there and the front desk staff greated me like a long lost friend, the paperwork wasn't too much (as sometimes is the case for new patients). The facilities are clean and have the right amount of privacy. The dental assistant and dentist were so thoughtful, thorough and caring. There was a student assistant from Durham College whom I agreed to having him take my x-rays etc. He was so nice and sought me after to apologize incase he'd made the experience uncomfortable for me (which he genuinely had not). I'm a naturally suspicious person from years in North America being "othered" but I felt right at home here and promptly scheduled my family for appointments. In all this, I forgot to get people's names but really the whole team was amazing.

I now feel completely comfortable and safe during visits—so much so that I no longer experience any anxiety. Even the numbing process is virtually painless, and they consistently check in throughout procedures to ensure your comfort. Appointments are efficient, with no unnecessary time spent in the chair. I even fell asleep during a cavity filling, which speaks volumes about the level of care and comfort provided. I highly recommend Harmony Dental to anyone who has dental anxiety or has had negative past experiences. The entire team from the dentists to the hygienists and support staff is professional, compassionate, and dedicated to patient well-being. I’m extremely satisfied with the care I’ve received.

Fantastic experience: First visit went well. It was a smooth and painless first visit. Everybody made me feel comfortable from the receptionist, hygienist and dentist. The dentist was very thorough in explaining my current dental condition and what actions are required. The office is clean and welcoming and the equipment are very current especially the x-ray machine and device that take pictures your teeth.

Fantastic experience: If you need an emergency dental service, do not hesitate to go here. I went to this office after multiple sleepless nights of being in pain from an infection in the tissue surrounding one of my wisdom teeth. All the staff here treat me with compassion and understanding. They did not scold me for waiting as long as I had before coming in. They booked me in the same day for a check-up and had me back in to remove all my wisdom teeth within the following week. Even with such prompt service, they took their time every step of the way to ensure I was properly informed of my options, potential risks of certain services and that I had the final choices in creating my treatment plan. While the recovery was, understandably, unpleasant, I had full confidence in the care I received at this office :)

Fantastic experience: Always feel at home coming to Harmony Dental. Julie was a huge help in teaching me about stannous fluoride and giving me tips on other products I can use to take care of my precious teeth!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE FOR WISDOM TEETH! both my sister and i went to this location for our wisdom teeth surgery and both were horrible experiences. i have a fear of needles and have dental anxiety, and my sister has medical anxiety when it comes to procedures. we both paid extra money to get IV sedation as we were told we would not be aware of what was going on during the procedure. both of us were fully aware during the entire procedure and required them to keep re-freezing our mouths because we could feel pain, pulling, and pressure. my sister's boyfriend went to get her from the procedure and said he heard her screaming out and crying from the waiting room. He asked if she was ok and the receptionist's said it was "just normal, don't worry she won't remember the screaming after because she has the IV". she remembers everything and left the dentist office terrified. when i went, i kept pulling away and telling the dentist that i was in pain, i was crying, screaming and shaking in the chair and they just re-froze my mouth 3 times rather than give me extra IV sedation like i paid for. I was fully aware of everything that was happening and told it was normal and to "not move" and stop "pulling away" so they could get it done. my sister had the exact same experience. they were holding her down because she kept moving away and the dentist performing the procedure was pulling her mouth open wider than it could go and pulling unnecessarily, and had to re-freeze her just like me. they didn't wait for me to calm down or let the IV drugs kick in before starting the procedure, even though they were watching me have a panic attack in the seat. If you have dental anxiety, fear of needles or medical procedures, don't get your wisdom teeth done here. Everyone else i know that has had their wisdom teeth removed had easy procedures, didn't remember anything, and were not in pain during the procedure.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office is amazing! I am very nervous when it comes to anything dental and I’ve always been accommodated. I had to take a break during a pretty intense procedure and there was no judgement. My 6 year old goes here as well and they are so lovely with her. She needed a washroom break (she was very nervous) when we came back, the hygienist had put a mask on her stuffy and it made her giggle. The front desk staff are always wonderful! I cannot recommend this office enough. So fortunate to have found them ☺️

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient here for years and never been treated that poorly and forcefully , I ended up walking out of the appointment before anything started. I booked an appointment to do a cavity filling with Dr. Mike and today when I came in for my appointment excepting to do that he was forcing me to do x-rays and I said I came just for a filling nothing else. He told me he will not do my filling until I do x-rays plus consolation fee cause it could be an infection he was saying which I can guarantee it’s not cause I get tooth aches all the time from my cavities. I come in to do fillings with Dr. Peter which I have many times with him so has my dad and he did the fillings exactly what the appointment was for not trying to force me to do other stuff to get more money. I will not be going back here anymore if that’s how I’m going to get treated. I’m paying out of pocket as I don’t have insurance and I kept saying that but he didn’t care. All this place likes to do is try to get more money than needs to be.

Though an error was made with my husband’s appointment, which was to be at the same time as mine, the clinic was very clean. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the payment process was a breeze. They handled everything professionally. I am glad we found Harmony Dental and would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: They fit me in same-day when I called about tooth pain. The Dental Assistant I dealt with was really great. So was Dr. Michael who located the source of my pain and put in a couple of fillings on the spot.

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely terrified of the dentist, had to go in today to get a filling and I got Dr.Peter. He is funny, patient, works pretty fast and does great work. Today he put me at ease before he even started. he worked quickly, explained what was happening and what had to happen, took pics and showed me the end result. Dr.Peter and his assistant Gabby are the new Batman and Robin. I HIGHLY recommend Dr.Peter and staff!

Negative experience: Bad experience, don't trust them. While booking appointment for my child, they said they accept healthy smile. However upon visiting their premises, they proceeded with various x-rays etc... Later they say these services are not covered under healthy smile. If it was so, then why do them without notifying patients ahead of time. Bunch of frauds and time wasters. So frustrating. :(

Fantastic experience: Both dentist were really professional and staff was really kind. Took time to explain everything. Took my kid for the first time as well and he was taken care of very well. Would highly recommend this place.

Positive experience: I had a tooth restored a couple of months ago and since then, I had begun to bite the inside of my cheeks and my tongue a lot. I made another appointment and Dr. Mike saw me again to adjust the shape of the filling. Still had trouble with biting my cheeks and tongue. So, I made a 3rd appointment to discuss the issue. I didn't finish my review! Here's the rest: I was shown photos of my tooth, and reasons why it was a difficult tooth to fill, etc . For a 3rd time, Dr. Mike adjusted the shape of the tooth. My feeling is gratitude, first because he was able to save the tooth, and secondly b/c there was no charge for 3 extra sessions. I like it a lot that Harmony stands behind their work. Maybe would have liked the explanation on the 2nd visit

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from reception to the chair. Dr. Michael Kim was excellent in all regards. Great bedside manner, polite and patient. Explained each step and how he would approach it. Very happy with my visit.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended dental clinic. Staff is professional and the clinic is very clean. Dr. Peter Yao is very gentle in his work and friendly. When doing x-ray the staff is also careful.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this dental office. They are a terrific team of professionals, from the receptionists, dental hygienists and dentists - everyone is very accommodating and work together to make you feel at home. Dr. Rajesh is especially wonderful! He is patient, kind, highly knowledgeable and very welcoming to his clients. He has a great way of answering your questions and making you feel at ease. I've been to other dental clinics before and I can tell you that this is by far the best place I've been to. Luckily it's located very close to my home, but even if I were to move further away, I would come back here to continue my dental treatments.

Fantastic experience: I never have any complaints with this team. The front staff is great and I've only had good experiences. The place also looks a little upgraded since last I came in, so that shows they care about improvement. Overall five stars for me!

Negative experience: Was hoping to become a patient here since I recently moved back to Oshawa and need three wisdom teeth removed. Yet after two emails requesting an appointment, I have not received a single response in 72 hours. I heard back from another office within less than two hours. Hope you guys can do better in responding to your patients via email!

Fantastic experience: As always, I have a very good experience with everyone at Harmony Dental Care, from the front desk to the rooms where cleaning etc are done. I find everyone polite, knowledgeable and experienced in their performance. I always leave with a good expression of my visit.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Harmony Dental Care. I have lots of anxiety about going to the dentist and avoided it for some time but Dr. Ritesh made me feel comfortable and calm, took the time to explain each step thoroughly along the way, and had my best interests in mind. The staff is always incredibly friendly greeting you as you come in the door. The whole office is very clean and professional. I am very satisfied with the results of my dental work and I won't be going to any other dental office.
