Negative experience: Charge you for services without giving you prior notice. Book you for an appointment for cleaning and give you an invoice with various treatment services which your insurer may not cover. Make sure you review your invoices before paying for anything!! Do not recommend.

Negative experience: Teach your receptionists to be more vigilant. If you see a customer was waiting before another do not serve the other customer first. That's common decency. It's very disrespectful and discriminatory.

Negative experience: Would highly not recommend, they are more focused on the up sale of services rather then doing proper work, I went to have some cavities fixed and nothing but problems and pain since, and because I question the work done nothing but push back and attitude from staff anyone wanting to know what to actual expect should check out the low reviews and not the 5 star ones they are clearly not legit

Fantastic experience: The only place in Oshawa where we can get quick appointments. The clinic hours are so flexible that we can book appointments without affecting the school hours or work hours. The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable. Front office staff are very friendly and helpful. They communicate very efficiently.

She was very patient, gentle, and explained everything clearly before starting the procedure, which really helped reduce anxiety. The clinic was clean and organized, and the staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Khan made sure my brother was comfortable throughout the appointment and checked in to ensure he was doing well afterward. We truly appreciate her care and professionalism. Negative experience: Went to find out why one of my teeth hurt to chew on the one side of my mouth to be told my teeth are fine and there’s nothing to be done, now a day later I am eating and have a pain when eating in one of teeth in the area they looked at. I’ll have to pay again to check it checked out again at another dentist now, another then that the receptionist there are super nice

Fantastic experience: I've had 3 of my daughter's here so far..one of them has so much anxiety that our last dentists refused to see her because she walked out of 2 appointments (she was 11). They also told us that in order for her to receive laughing has we would have to go to a specialist and theres a long wait list.. so I called around and found Taunton Village Dental! Thank God! They have pediatric dentists also! They offered laughing gas! We didnt even have to ask for it! They also email you a breakdown of costs sonyour not suprised hy anything! They also brought to my attention that i could use the cdcp coverage AND the healthy smiles coverage to cover ALL costs!! Every dentist and hygenist I've encountered there are amazing! The staff is amazing too! 10 STARS!! I love this place! Thank you so much Taunton Village Dental!

Negative experience: So much I could say but I'll keep it short. Made an appointment to get tooth pulled, get there and it's so packed that it's now standing only while you wait. They book way to many appointments at once for such a small waiting room. So after 30 minutes after the time of my scheduled appointment I go in they take 2 xrays and say yup needs to be pulled come back in two weeks to get it done. But thats the whole reason I was there was to get it pulled. Honestly one of the worst dentists I've ever dealt with.

Very informative, made me feel comfortable, explained everything to me with no pressure gave me options, and always made sure l was fine during the whole process, l didn't feel anything. l was having anxiety. l never liked going to the dentist but he made me feel confident about this process. l would definitely refer him to anyone l know . Negative experience: I’ll start by saying everyone is very nice but Never have I ever had a problem with a dentist establishment specifically the dentist in charge till this one I was told they specialize in people with anxiety so I booked a appointment I require laughing gas (nitrous) to get through a cleaning as I have a bad gag reflex and my anxiety gets worse the longer I’m there other dentists have accommodated this by either starting me on nitrous when I feel the affects then taking the X-rays or after the cleaning while I’m still loopy take them then I told the dentist this and they argued mind you the dentist didn’t even have the decency to introduce themself and explains themself they sent the nurse and said it’s not possible and that I would have to re book even if I did re book I didn’t I walked out I still wouldn’t have me needs met they offered zero assistance and zero help in accommodating this has been by far the worst experience I’ve had at a dentist if you had kids who are afraid of the dentist and require extra care and amenities I would definitely not recommend this place I took time off work and I didn’t even get a cleaning and will have to go elsewhere take more time off work they offered me zero support after refusing service to me terrible management letting a customer walk out unhappy

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer of Taunton Village Dental for several years now, and every time I visit them I receive timely and outstanding patient care. I was there today for what was a simple cleaning… I was expecting to make another appointment for the fillings, but Dr. Samanvaya Sharma after seeing my teeth offered me to have the fillings dine right after the cleaning. At first I was hesitant given the location of one of the cavities , the sensible teeth I have and the young face of the doctor … but he sounded very confident and I accepted the offer. Dr. Sharma was not only very knowledgeable/skilled but also empathetic with my fears... it was quickly, well done and without pain - I highly recommend this team of professionals.

Dr. Choubey and her staff were absolutely fantastic—professional, caring, and extremely thorough in explaining everything before and during my appointment. I’m normally very anxious about going to the dentist, but they were so kind, patient, and reassuring that it made a huge difference and helped me feel completely at ease. Shaila, the hygienist, was wonderful—gentle, friendly, and very attentive, which made the visit much more comfortable than I expected. Negative experience: I had received cleaning a couple of months ago at your dental office. And it was one of my worst experiences ever from this hygienist that I have never used before. I have used another hygienist in the past and found that there were no issues at all. This is the only reason for my return back to your office. Sorry about the low rating. I know your office has several good reviews.

Fantastic experience: Had to leave a review about my experience get two fillings done at Taunton Village. Dr. Hasso is the gold standard of dentistry. I am a nervous patient when it comes to dental work, to the point that I will cancel an appointment hours before when my nerves get the best of me. I came in today and immediately I was put at ease. Dr. Hasso was friendly, professional, patient and thorough and I appreciate that he explained the process and procedure to me before he began and as he was doing the work. He also didnt rush which is what you experience these days at a lot of practices, but he took his time and also explained the post care and follow up items/concerns when he was done. Generally with fillings the experience is torture for me but I can honestly say this is the first time I have had fillings and been at ease and peace of mind during and after the appointment. I will be requesting him for the future and also referring my family and friends! Thank you so much for making this experience a pleasant one. ALSO want to thank the dental assistant Casie for the job she did, you were a great team together really made my dental appointment the least difficult I have experienced in my many many years going to the dentist! Dr. Hasso needs to teach a course on chairside manner for other dentists!

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to needles, and the hygienist here (I unfortunately forgot her name) is truly the most understanding and comforting dental hygienist I’ve ever had. She even held my hand during my needle, which meant more to me than I can say. I always feel so much more comfortable when I find out she is the dental hygienist on, she truly goes above and beyond. Dr. Ali Raza is an incredibly dentist, patient and always takes the time to help me feel calm and comfortable. He even offers me a break in the middle of a filling in case I need one. These two as a team work so great together. I wanted to thank them both for the care I’ve received the past couple months. I first came here in November 2025, as I had an infection and was in so much pain, and they were able to get me in within 30 minutes of me calling. The entire team is so accommodating, compassionate, and professional. I’m extremely grateful for this office and highly recommend Dr. Ali Raza and his team to anyone. Thank you all again.

Fantastic experience: Overall, I’ve had a good experience here when I visit. The staff are friendly and calm, which is important. I’ve seen them treat clients with care. In particular, Catherine the hygienist was wonderful, very friendly and made my visit a great experience.

Negative experience: We’ve been coming here for a while but the quality of care and customer service has definitely worsened. Charges felt unclear, and we were billed for services we didn’t agree to. When an issue came up with previous work, the clinic was unwilling to help. Overall, it feels more focused on billing than patient care. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable staff throughout the clinic from reception to dental hygienists to the dentist themselves. Great explanation of risk vs. reward on procedure. They ONLY TAKE dental insurance from non-government funded agencies just to be aware. Lots of parking, but small entrance so be careful not to pull in to wrong parking lot.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for ten years, It’s the only place I trust with my teeth. Very well trained people and an amazing environment.

Negative experience: They're friendly.... and that's the only nice thing I have to say. It's very disorganized and you feel as though you're a number to get through. You're bounced around staff to staff each telling you something different. It almost gives you the impression it's on purpose as a tactic. I thought one procedure was getting booked and come appointment time they did something entirely different. They wanted to cram in additional services I wasn't interested in. For example, I went for a checkup and wanted a cleaning. They scammed me into a repair for a chipped tooth that I didn't know was happening until after it was finished. They weren't gentle and the "repair" from only months ago already fell off. So instead of coming in thinking I was getting a cleaning... they did a tooth repair I wasn't prepared for and it hurt a lot and had since fallen off. They took cash as a payment but wouldn't give change. Instead saying, they'll add it as a credit for next time. Which would have been nice to know ahead of time. They tell you one price then when you go to pay the price has gone up, despite written quotes provided beforehand. The breaking point for me was when I wanted gas for the cleaning and they kept having to reschedule because the dentist wasn't able to get his certificate to use Gas on patients and we had to reschedule twice. They said it was because the certificate wouldn't load or get mailed in time.... but after weeks let's be real it's more likely he failed. Also, when I called to confirm price they once again had an added charge. I told them that wasn't in the email quote they sent or what was verbally said to me.... the secretary swore I didn't check my email properly and she had sent me 2 estimates. Turns out she had only sent me one email and that it would cost almost $200 more than what was verbally said to me and what was in the email quote. I don't know how this place has so many high reviews. It was a horrible experience for me all around. I spent a lot of money for literally nothing.

Fantastic experience: I have severe dental PTSD and they have made my experience a little less scary of going to dentist. Would prefer the work I needed was in less visits but it's their policy in order to serve more patients so I understand. I met with pediatric dentist and she is wonderful compared to other places I took my kids. She was very patient, when trying to see my toddlers teeth who was not very cooperative.

Negative experience: I would never give a recommendation to come here. If you want cheap service this is the place. But if you want quality service find somewhere else. Also, be prepared to be belittled by the dentist if the quality of your teeth is not up to standards.

Fantastic experience: This Dental office is top notch! Patient care is their main focus, they made my visit so comfortable especially with how anxious I was coming in. My dental hygienist Veronica was amazing, talking to me throughout the visit, letting me know what was happening every step of the visit and making sure I was heard. Dr. Sam was also great! Fantastic experience: Our first booking appointment over the phone was pleasant. The receptionist that took the call was friendly and made my wife feel at ease. They were able to book us on the same day. We arrived early and we were greeted by a very polite staff. They are also environmentally friendly as all their intake forms are paperless. It's all done with a tablet.
