Negative experience: Not a good experience with the reception. I had a similar issue last year but still returned this year because the clinic is close to my home. This morning my appointment was at 10:50 AM, and I arrived at 9:45 AM by mistake. When I checked in, the receptionist sitting in the glass cubicle with glasses did not speak to me directly. Instead, she turned to another staff member and said, “She is here an hour early — Dr. Michaels’ patient.” She clearly realized I had made a mistake and could have kindly told me that I arrived early. Instead, I felt talked about and dismissed. It made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Front desk staff set the tone for a clinic, and this experience was not welcoming at all. This is not the first time. During my previous visit, I stood at her desk for checkout while she stayed on her computer and did not acknowledge me at all. I waited quietly, thinking she was busy. After a while, I decided to leave, assuming they would contact me by phone or email if needed. Only then did she stop me and say that I had a bill to pay. When she finally started printing my bill, another patient finished their appointment as well. After I paid and walked away, I saw her greet that patient warmly and say, “Sorry for the wait.” Seeing other reviews saying the staff are “friendly” makes this feel like a pick-and-choose situation. I am definitely being treated differently.

Fantastic experience: I called in for an extraction. They were able to see me the next day. Consult, x-rays, and extraction were completed all in the same visit. Topical analgesic prior to injection so there was only discomfort, no pain. Professional throughout. It was a challenging extraction due to a broken and fragile tooth and long roots but they got the job done and next day (today) my gums and face aren't feeling too bad. I'm very happy with the service I received. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had to get alot of things done-wisdom tooth extraction, cleaning, fix the chipped tooth and I can't believe how smooth everything went. Right from reaching out to them for the first appointment to insurance to procedures. Their whole team is amazing I was so nervous and everyone was so patient and calm with me. I feel I got lucky that I found them!!

Negative experience: While there're respectful dentists like Dr. Summer and Dr. Wong there, the guy (looks like from Southern Asia or Middle East) who's doing hygiene is extremely dishonest. He'll do something like "overall check" "polishing" "Fluoride" "Oral Hygiene instruction" which you didn't ask and didn't realize they'd be charged extra. Although those charges could be covered by insurance, it's not about money, it's about honesty. If you want to provide extra service that I didn't ask, you should let me know that those service will be charged extra and I can decide whether to take it or not. I was once charged $60 for how to use the tooth brush "correctly". Just ridiculous! So be careful who'll do your hygiene when booking, stay away from that guy!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience here. My dental insurance was insured and confirmed very quickly and my appointments were made easy. I had dental hygiene performed and had fillings done. Both procedures were done well and professionally! I plan on coming back for my next appointment in the following year.

Negative experience: Worst dentist clinic in Milton by far. Completely unprofessional. Especially the lady sitting on the left side of the front desk wearing glasses. First they called me telling I’m covered by insurance and then after the cleaning laughed in my face saying I’m not covered. Had the audacity to try to keep me hostage and tell me I'm not allowed to leave until a payment method was set up. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone! The lady was on the left desk has black and glasses and didn’t even take the chance to contact insurance. The most unprofessional experience in a dental clinic thus far. I was also promised an electric toothbrush which is a promise they didn’t deliver.

Dr. Zeena did fantastic jobs for examining whole teeth , extracting one tooth and filling one tooth. Even reception staff (Mirna, Helen, Anna) provided good works for estimates, appointments and more. Looking forward to their great services in the future.

Negative experience: Scam Alert! Went for my free Zoom whitening consultation with Dr Summer, instead I was told i will be seeing Dr Sam. After waiting half n hr I was told by Dr Sam to have my dental cleaning done instead. Which I already had done last mth with another dentist. Waited then at the front desk for the receptionist to make my apt for cleaning with Dr Summer, the receptionist went inside to ask Dr Sam for some codes and took her sweet time. I don't have all day for these ppl so I dipped. Then I get a voicemail from the office that I owe them $100 for doing nothing. Excuse you!? I then left them a message that I wont be paying them jack for a free consultation and won't be seeing them again. Good riddance Scammers!!! This is a reply to your false statement. I have called twice back to you. Your front desk lady told me that once you left at 3pm to pick up your son and to call back tmw between 10-3. Then I called next day and you conveniently called in away from the office. If you think I'm gonna be wasting my time calling u daily. Big mistake on ur part. You guys are sketchy. Very Unprofessional. So glad I left a 1 star legit review. Good luck getting the $100 from me in your dreams.

Fantastic experience: This dentist office is absolutely exceptional! Friendly owners, all staff are very friendly and welcoming, they are clean, and reliable. I don't often like the dentist but I am definitely happy with my experience and will be making this my dental office! ONE YEAR UPDATE A year later and they have never let me down. Glad I made the switch over, anyone is lucky to have Doctor Samar as their dentist :)

The office is so clean and neat. The op room was so hygienic. The entire environment in the office was calm, relaxing and comfortable. My dental hygiene appointment experience was so positive. Fantastic experience: I’ve been to this office twice and both times I was extremely satisfied with the care I received. Once for a check up and X-rays and a cleaning which was very professional and everything was clearly explained. The second visit was a cleaning and honestly this was probably the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Hardly any discomfort during the procedure and my teeth have never felt so clean. My options were clearly laid out so I could make an informed decision on my dental plan going forward. The staff are extremely pleasant from the moment you are greeted when you walk through the door to the time you are leaving. They make you feel like you matter to them.

I used to despise going to the many other dentists in the past as it was always an uncomfortable, nerve racking and painful experience. Here, they take the time to perform the cleaning the way that makes you comfortable if you have sensitive teeth. And they dont push or even suggest unnecessary costly procedures needed.

Positive experience: Dr. Summer Al Maqdassy Is an excellent dentist and extremely professional. Unfortunately the new office manager her husband tried to switch to higher prices than had been committed to in an email guaranteeing the price. He’ll dress up the response but it WOULDN’T BE TRUE. Emailed quote was from “DECEMBER 21st” and when I went for treatment was told I’d get the price from that quote very late in the year in the new year. Then the husband office manager tried to switch to higher prices.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Laurier Dental for my children's dental check-up and cleaning. Dr. Summer and her team were professional and kind to both my kids and me. The cleaning was thorough and painless, and the appointment started on time, so we didn’t have to wait long. When my daughter needed to have a wiggly baby tooth removed, Dr. Summer explained the procedure clearly and addressed my concerns, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: Got all 4 wisdom teeth out yesterday. Yesterday sucked a bit with the pain but I'll be honest I woke up feeling 100% not the slightest pain and only used the pain medication for the first day and I was able to go into work the day after surgery.

Negative experience: Thanks for the response. However my rating was not based on my wife’s treatment over there, but on my personal experience. My concern for the less rating was different and I didn’t wanted to make it more public and tarnish you, hence I didn’t put the comments on my rating. However the reply that you provided is something personal and SHOULD NOT BE DISCLOSED on a public platform. I strongly believe that as a patient I hold all the right to keep my information private and safe. This is not at all acceptable ! I will check into this further.

Fantastic experience: Dr Summer is a very knowledgeable Amazing dentist. She also genuinely cares about each and every patient. Her assistant and other staff make you feel very comfortable. I had a an appt for a crown and Dr Summer did it all, including making the crown on site, and it took under 2 hours and was painless. No root canal work required!
