Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience during my son’s visit to treat two cavities. The entire staff was wonderful—very kind, patient, and professional. My son is 11 years old, and they explained everything to him in a way he could easily understand, which really helped him feel calm and confident. He didn’t feel any pain at all. They gave him choices, talked to him about the importance of taking care of his teeth, and kept conversations appropriate and engaging for his age. They are truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Our kids have been with Safari for years now and the team has been so amazing regardless of the age they’ve been. They’re super accommodating for any emergency appts with my son who’s been there way more than we would have wanted. Highly recommend them as paediatric dentistry!!

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I found this dentist clinic for my son! I saw how highly it was rated on Google, and wanted to check for myself. As a new mom and a 1st visit to the dentist with him, I wanted to make sure we had a good experience together. Especially since he’s still very young, at 1 years old. When we walked in, we were greeted very warmly by the receptionist - and the place itself was truly decorated and styled like a Safari. So neat for children! Inside, they a huge sticker wall, a wall that named all the flavours they can choose from for their cleaning (we chose Blueberry!), and a wall full of different characters of toothbrushes to choose from as well. Talk about catering to children, I was amazed. The staff were super knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a paediatric dental clinic!

Fantastic experience: Best Children’s dentistry in Milton! I have three kids and all of them love it there. Never a fight to go, even with my three year old who doesn’t like brushing his teeth! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, fast, but thorough. They have so many yummy tooth paste flavours to choose from, tv screens at every chair to watch their favourite show and distract them, and puppets to practice brushing. At the end of the visit, children get a Lollipop, stickers and also a token to pick a prize. We highly recommend!

We’ve been loyal clients since my daughter was 2 years old, and every visit has been an excellent experience. She’s now 10 and just had a loose tooth removed that had been bothering her. Fantastic experience: We couldn't have asked for a better first time experience for our 3 year old toddler! Nina took him around showed him the sticker wall,picked out his toothbrush brush and took away any nervous before the actual cleaning even started. They turn on you child's favourite TV show while the cleaning is happening. She was super polite and professional and we were amazed at how well our toddler did. The dentist came in after the cleaning to look over our son's mouth. He helped answer any questions/concerns we had and gave us useful tips. We are extremely pleased with the service provided here and so happy we found this place. From check in to check out the appointment was flawless!

Negative experience: It has been a very frustrating experience trying to get appointments for my two kids at Safari Dental. From the very beginning, the receptionist, Tammy, was discouraging. She told me the treatment would be “very expensive” and implied I might not be able to afford it. When I asked about insurance, her response was rude and dismissive, which made me feel very unwelcome. Despite that, I tried again because I couldn’t find another clinic nearby. After leaving multiple messages and following up several times, Tammy kept giving me new requirements — first referrals, then other documents, each time something different. Even after I brought everything she asked for, she continued to delay the process. When it finally came to scheduling, I requested an appointment in August since my insurance was ending that month. Instead of trying to help, Tammy insisted on September and was unwilling to make any effort to accommodate. Her tone was consistently rude, arrogant, and unhelpful throughout my interactions. In the end, I had no choice but to take my kids elsewhere for treatment. I want to share this so others know what to expect. If you decide to go to Safari Dental, be prepared for an unwelcoming environment and a very poor experience with the front desk staff, particularly Tammy.

Fantastic experience: Just had my daughter Emma in for some complex dentistry work. She had a fall and needed some caps and a removal. She was so comfortable, did not show any signs of being in distress and we were in and out in an hour. Very happy dad and daughter.

Fantastic experience: We've been taking our kids here for 3+ years now and each visit is always great. The staff are so patient and great with the kids. The environment is catered to the kids and is so visually appealing. The overall experience from entrance to end is fun for the young patients.

Fantastic experience: Lovely experience. Our son requires support and the dental assistant and dentist were both very patient and kind. We are happy to have found somewhere we’re comfortable bringing him. We will definitely return and look forward to supporting such a great business. From start to finish you can tell they have taken great care into designing a welcoming space for children of all ages and neuro-types.

Fantastic experience: This was my son’s first dental visit after nearly 3 years due to a bad experience in the previous dentist visit. The whole experience here was very calming, the technician was so patient and thorough. My son was super anxious about X-rays so they said it doesn’t need to done in the first visit and can wait until he gets comfortable. Already booked the next 2 appointments.

Fantastic experience: My kids and I absolutely love this place!! The staff is incredibly kind, the environment is perfect for little kids and the whole experience is top notch. The kids get to choose their brush and tooth paste and brush little plush toys. They get a little toy and stickers afterwards too. The dentist (Mr Gupta) is hilarious and very gentle with kids. And Nicole the hygienist is my kids absolutely favorite. Highly recommend

Positive experience: Great place. Friendly staff. The only downside is that even if you book 7 months in advance, they rarely have appointments available. Also after the hygienists cleans the teeth, waiting for the dentist to come in the room takes 30-35 minutes. We’ve been here more than 3 times and this has always been the case unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Safari Children’s Dentist – A Fantastic First Visit at the Milton location! Our 2.5-year-old had her very first dental appointment, and the staff at Safari Children’s Dentist made it an incredible experience! They were so patient, never rushing us, and took the time to make her feel comfortable. She got to pick her own toothbrush, practice brushing a teddy’s teeth to see that it’s not scary, having them clean her teeth. Her favorite part? Choosing stickers, a toy, and even getting a sugar-free lollipop from the dentist! She had such a great time that she’s already excited for her next visit. Huge thanks to the amazing team for making her first trip to the dentist such a positive one!

Negative experience: The dental hygienists at this office are amazing. Their front desk is lovely. The actual dentists are inconsistent in ability and interpersonal skills. We’ve had a couple who are personable and professional and one who was an actual nightmare. No matter how many stuffed animals and tvs there are, the dentist office can be a scary experience for a child. She first got angry because my daughter was small and had a small jaw so the hygienist got smaller tools. The dentist grabbed my scared child’s face and yelled ‘I can’t work like this.’ My daughter had a crown fall out and Tammy, from the call centre, told me she wouldn’t book a visit until the dentist who did the work, three weeks ago, returns from vacation at the end of the month because she would’t book another dentist to do the work since there would not be a charge for it. Shoddy work and back end billing charges are the responsibility of the clinic, patients should not be penalized for that. Stickers for the kids are great but that’s not enough reason to not look for another paediatric dentistry.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at Safari Milton. My child was hesitant and had serious issues and the staffed handled it with patience and professionalism and they were able to get the work done without issue. My child walked out happily and will gladly go back to the dentist now. We love Dr. Tina!!

Negative experience: We were regulars at Safari Dental, and in fact, my last review was about how amazing they were. However, this summer, I had an experience that completely changed my opinion. While trying to schedule and make changes to an appointment, I was shocked by how rude the receptionist was. Being in the customer service industry myself, I couldn’t believe how dismissive she was when I explained my concern about our benefits due to my husband’s recent job change. I assured her that I’d still attend the appointment if it was an issue and was even willing to pay out of pocket, but she continued to lecture me about how “these appointments are one hour long” and made me feel as though I was being unreasonable. Even though I expressed my willingness to cooperate, she rudely insisted on making the changes and left me feeling unheard and disrespected. It was the rudest interaction I’ve ever had, and needless to say, I cancelled all my appointments after that and have not returned with my son. I don’t typically write negative reviews, especially after having had such positive experiences before, but this incident needed to be shared.

However, this place makes her so comfortable that she hasn't cried even while getting her teeth cleaned. She's under 4 years old. They take their time and make sure the child is comfortable.

Most recently we had a dental emergency and the Milton location was able to respond quickly to assist us and put us at ease. I love how they always go the extra mile to make each child’s experience at the dentist a FUN one. I highly recommend ❤️!

Fantastic experience: My Daughter had her first appointment today with the team at Safari Children’s Dental and I have nothing but amazing things to say! My daughter is 8 1/2 months and usually hates when anyone, including myself, goes near her mouth, but Dr. Gupta approached it in such a way that she was much calmer than I could have ever imagined! I had a concern about my daughters lip tie and the effect it would have on her teeth as they come in, but I was given an abundance of great information that calmed my mind going forward! Not only was I provided great information on her lip tie, but also plenty of information, tips and tricks to keep her teeth healthy overall! The entire staff from the administration, to the hygienists, to Dr. Gupta made the experience great for my daughter and I. We will definitely be seeing them again when my girl is 2 years old!

Fantastic experience: It my daughter’s very first dental appointment and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambience is so engaging for kids that they aren’t really scared. She co-operated very nicely with the nurse, dental hygienist and Doctor Gupta. Our first experience was definitely very good.

Fantastic experience: Our experience was really wonderful. We had Ms. Ashley as the dental hygenist for my 2 year old toddler. She was so sweet and thorough. My kid got a bit hysterical and cried and yelled a lot as his brushing and cleaning was taking place (because he is socially anxious covid baby), but Ashley was extremely patient, unfazed, and understanding. She also gave us a lot of very useful tips. Dr. Erin was also very kind and understanding in her advice and demeanor. Overall I am happy we went and will go there regularly.

Fantastic experience: Another amazing experience at Safari Dental Milton. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. My niece from out of town was visiting when my daughter had her cleaning scheduled, so she joined us at the appointment, by the time we left my niece was begging her mother to start bringing her to Safari Dental too!

Fantastic experience: This was my daughters and I’s first visit. I did a lot of research before moving her from her current dentist. The energy from the moment we walked in, I knew I picked a great place. My daughter is 4 and was scared to go to the dentist, the experience she had here was one of the best! Ashley, worked very well and explained all the instruments to my daughter before starting. While cleaning my daughter always wanted me to sit with her, she felt so relaxed that she climbed up on the chair on her own. This is truly a place for children. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Fantastic experience: First time at the dentist, my two year old loved the experience (and so did I). Decorated very cutely, TV screens for cartoons, more of treats and toys at the end, but most importantly the hygienist/dental assistant and dentist we're do friendly and good with my daughter. Being good with kids is a skill they really show. Will be bringing all my kids here. They also have a cute first time at the dentist sign to take photos!

Fantastic experience: I recently took my 9 month old for a check up and consultation and everyone at the office was lovely. There were many aspects that made it kid-friendly including the colours, Disney movie playing in the lobby, choice of tv show in the exam room and of course the toothbrush and sticker selection. Both our hygienist and dentist were very friendly and great with the baby! Our questions were answered and each concern addressed. We will definitely be going back in the future.

The dentists have excellent bedside manners and their way of communicating with the children is so warm, welcoming and affectionate. They have a beautiful wall for choosing your favourite stickers, toy, toothpaste flavour and tooth brush from a wall. We had a wonderful experience!

While he did have some resistance at some point, our hygienist was very patient and friendly. Kid-friendly strategies really help. Today, my kid is asking me when he could go back to the dentist!

Negative experience: Their receptionist is extremely rude. I called to ask if we could be 20 mins late because my daughter suddenly had to go to a walk in and she was just the coldest person on the phone. Not being flexible or accommodating. Would love to switch to another pediatric dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to Safari dental in Milton. The experience was very lovely, especially since this was the first time my daughter was going to the dentist. I’m a little worried because now that this place has set the bar so high, she’s going to expect all dentists to be this good and will expect them all to be this child friendly! The dentist and the dental hygienist were so good, especially the dental hygienist, my daughter loved her and even asked her for a hug! Thank you for a lovely experience and she’s excited to come back! The environment is child friendly, being an educator myself I too was amazed at how comfortable they made her feel. She was nervous going in and extremely happy when leaving. I would definitely recommend this place! We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic experience: recently, my was Son’s who is 20 months came for his first visit to the dentist. He had an amazing experience. The place is very toddler oriented and he was very excited about all the prices and give aways that were given to him as part of his visit. Ashley our hygienist was very welcoming and provided me with great details and tips to ensure he maintains good dental hygiene. Overall recommend for all the little ones!

Melissa showed her all the equipment and talked to her about everything she will do, gaining her trust, making her comfortable and my daughter warmed up to her right away! They really do specialize with kids and it was beyond what I expected. Also the toys and goodies were loved by my kids. They def want to come back!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience for my daughters 1st cleaning! The staff is all so kind, from the moment you walk in to when you exit. We had Ashley and she was super informative, and super respectful always asking my daughter before starting something. Most importantly my daughter had a great time, and is excited to take care of her teeth.

Fantastic experience: I was very satisfied with our experience there! I took my 3 year old and was nervous she’d have a hard time. They took the time to talk to her and explain everything as they went along and showed her all the tools and were very informative and explained everything to me in detail. My daughter loved her whole experience there! We were very happy.

Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Safari since my daughter's first dentist appointment. She is now almost 6 years old. The first visit is like an excursion, fun for the parents too! The owners are dedicated to creating a safe, fun, professional environment for kids. My daughter looks forward to every appointment. The staff is always friendly and never pushy. It's a bright, colorful place that is always a pleasure to visit! Update: My daughter is now almost 11 years old and still looks forward to her dentist appointments! No cavities!

Fantastic experience: my daughter had an amazing experience for her first time cleaning. Our hygienist was very caring and was able to keep her calm and happy. She asked her to pick a toothbrush and a flavour for her polish right when we arrived which made my daughter very excited to start her cleaning. Dentist and hygienist were able to communicate well with my 5 years old daughter. They were slow and clear. Dentist than showed my daughter her xrays and explained it to her in simple language. Fantastic experience: I have been taking my 2 boys to safari dental in Milton for years. They are 6 and 8. The staff is amazing. Right from the friendly greeting at the reception desk to the dental hygienists. Both Melissa and Ashley were wonderful explaining everything they were going to do and so patient when asking my boys questions. Both boys were flexed and had no issues getting their cleaning. The dentist was also friendly with everyone and took the time to explain any issues. Overall had an extremely positive experience. Nothing negative to say. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: We are so beyond happy to have moved to Safari Dentistry! The clinic is completely kid-friendly which really helps my 5-year old feel comfortable. To our awe he was so willing to listen and follow instructions without any fear. Which comes to my other review: the staff. Dr. Gupta, our hygienist amd receptionist staff are ALWAYS so friendly and accommodating. They’re honest and do not try to push more services than what is actually needed. We really feel comfortable and would recommend this clinic to any parent! 5 stars each visit, every time!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my daughter to Safari Dentistry since she was 4 (now 8). The “animal/zoo” atmosphere is amazing - really eased her into her first experience with the dentist. Televisions on the ceiling (Netflix) to distract the little ones while they get their teeth cleaned is an amazing idea. Everyone within the dentistry is polite and professional and the dentistry itself is very clean. Highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: Safari dentistry in Milton never disappoints, and my kids always ask to go back to the dentist after their visit is over. They look forward to all the fun toys, toothpaste flavors, toothbrushes and videos, but I love how the staff connect with my children, explain what to expect in their visit before they happen, and always use a gentle, kind approach. Very pleased with our experiences there!
