Fantastic experience: I rate this dental office the best I’ve found in my whole life and I’m no spring chicken at 80. I’ve been to a few in my years.They are the most competent, pain free, friendly and efficient in my experience I’m so happy to have found them for myself and my family when we first moved to Nanaimo 9 years ago. Two years on I’d say the same, Brickyard Dental clinic is superb I’m now 82 and they’ve reinforced their skill, competence and kindness every year.

Negative experience: I have a real love-hate thing going on with this clinic. The dentists are fantastic, but it seems they sometimes bring in hygienists from outside the clinic, and that's where the problem lies. I keep getting reminders about "missed cleaning appointments," and I wanted to explain why I'm actually a bit nervous about going back to this otherwise great place. My last cleaning there was a nightmare. They paired me with a super unprofessional new hygienist. She barely cleaned my teeth and just wouldn't stop talking. Seriously, with my mouth wide open, it's not exactly the ideal time for a chat! I've been getting cleanings every three months for over 20 years at different offices in Vancouver, and I've never experienced anything like it. When I got there, the receptionist just said, "Oh, she's pretty new, hope that's okay…" Um, no, it's not okay to spring it on me at the last minute that I'm going to be someone's guinea pig, especially when they're also lacking in professional skills! On the plus side, a family member had a great experience with one of the dentists there! I'll probably give them another shot since the clinic itself seems really solid and well-run. Hopefully, next time I'll get a hygienist who actually, you know, cleans teeth ;)

Fantastic experience: Allison at the reception is so kind and knowledgeable, and Dr Jolene is very thoughtful. I didn’t feel hesitant to ask them any questions. Of note, I am very happy that they didn’t have to use any analgesic during my cleaning. At my previous dental clinic, they have me on so much lidocaine that my face felt numb for half a day. I have felt so happy since I came here

Yesterday I had 3 fillings for gum recession with Dr. Farshid Feizi who was also outstanding so very kind and gentle. Along with his lovely assistant. No pain whatsoever! Amazing! Today I had dental cleaning done by a wonderful young hygienist Kabri... she to was so friendly and kind... very thorough but gentle... an excellent hygienist! Highly recommend this dental office... all are truly amazing at what they do and such kind, friendly people. Aug 2024 I had a truly wonderful experience with the team at Brickyard Dental. From the warm welcome at reception to the attentive care provided by the dental assistant and Dr. Jolene, everyone was exceptional. The assistant was both gentle and efficient during the X-rays, ensuring my comfort throughout. Dr. Jolene, with her caring and kind demeanor, demonstrated exceptional skill. I am especially grateful for her thoroughness, as she identified a jaw issue on my left side that had been overlooked by my previous dentist. Dr Feizi was also collaborative in arranging a follow up plan, including out of town specialist's consult. It does not get better than this team!

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency which was expediently and competently handled by D. Feizi ands his team.I appreciated that I was left to consider several options for follow-up work. I have been a patient of this dental clinic for many years and have always been pleased with their work.

Fantastic experience: It usually takes only 5 minutes to fill a tooth cavity in Taiwan, but it takes 35 minutes here. Dr. Feizi filled the small cavity with material 3 or 4 times. During the process, I was kept asking if it would hurt... Then the surface was carefully polished to confirm again and again that the bite was normal. I do appreciate Dr. Feizi’s kind patience.

Negative experience: Dentist did two sessions of cleaning. Wasn’t done efficiently because it took two sessions. Of course each session costed $120. Apparently dentist didn’t have “enough time “ for a cleaning. Just another opportunity to charge me for a visit. I even told the receptionists I’d pay for the fluoride. Nothing was offered they didn’t bother to offer the FREE whitening. Of course. Not surprised. Will never go there again and I’ll be letting everyone I come across know not to give your business and hard earned money to this clinic. So disappointed.
