1 month ago Fantastic experience: Went in for a basic cleaning and the process was just easy. I have been coming here for 4 years. My dental hygienist Elizabeth or Lizzy was absolutely fantastic. She stands out because she's thorough, gentle but you can feel her work at the hard spots. She asks if your doing ok, she's clear on her instructions. Overall, I think i give her a 10/10. Thank you Lizzy and the entire team! This is seriously, the best place to go.

1 month ago Positive experience: First time at this dentist. The service was excellent and very clean environment and efficient. I was called in for a last minute cancellation. Only complaint was I was charged for oral hygience instruction. When I was asked she said it was going over education in regards to brushing and medication education. After some clarification from the office manager she refunded me the fee. I have never heard of such a thing with any dentist I have been to. Yes, I will return to them.

Got me teeth free from cavities n looking great again n gonna fix all my teeth that need work on . You can tell from the moment you walk in that the staff is friendly, clean professional and very knowledgeable. We dealt with a severe tooth case and the doctors specifically Dr Wilston has been nothing but amazing. Professional, patient and amazing bedside manner. I will always recommend this place to anyone! 2 months ago Fantastic experience: Upon entering the office staff where warm and friendly. As I was led to the dentists chair his assistant was cheerful and good at lowering anxieties. Dr. Cooper is very professional and explains things before they happen and he is very concerned about how my pain levels are by asking me if all is well and saying that I should stop him if things are if I can feel pain that is overwhelming. He and his assistant work extremely well together and the overall experience was extremely good.

He made my experience anxiety free, he told me everything he was about to do and gave me a great tip to make the needle not hurt as much. It was pain free and I felt completely comfortable. 2 months ago Positive experience: I had an excellent visit last time with Dr. Saba and a lovely hygienist. I would like to continue seeing Dr. Saba as my dentist. I previously saw Dr. Winston before Dr. Saba and I really liked him as well. When I made an appointment after that visit I found out he was at a satellite office I was not notified of that or given the opportunity to make an appointment to see him. I have found that over the last few years I have had a different dentist each time I come. Going forward I would like to have one dentist and not move from one to another, unless of course it was an emergency.

The dental assistant explained the procedure and as they were working through removing two crowns and preparing the temporary crowns they took the time to talk me through everything. Went in for my second time as a patient for a filling and Dr. Mishra is gentle, pleasant, and very skilled. A photo of a landscape or a flower to look at while you’re waiting in the exam room instead of that “sterile” coloured wall would be my only suggestion.

7 months ago Fantastic experience: I had a crown come loose on an implant tooth. It was one of my front teeth, so I was anxious to have it fixed. I’m from out of province and had no experience with dentist in Nanaimo. I phoned around and ended up getting connected with Northfield through their sister clinic. There were no appointments but they tracked me down on my phone while I was on a hike to tell me one had come up if I could get in quickly. . I got there just in time and they did an examination. In the end, they did not have the proper tools to fix my crown. (it is quite old and they don’t use these types anymore). But the service was exceptional. Thank you!

7 months ago Fantastic experience: Excellent extraction process - in to the chair right on time - numbing & freezing perfect with very little lingering affects - extraction completed quickly (fully detailed description throughout the procedure of the details) - completed & out of the chair very quickly - no pain killers required because no pain whatsoever! 7 months ago Negative experience: Very pushy for precedures to be done which I had no money for. Explained to them 5 times of this. Saw three dentists who did not take my concerns seriously and had other priorities. I just had metal fillings taken out and was left with a large grey spot on the side of my tooth noone bothered to mention. I had to pay for an exam of my root canal tooth that's been causing me pain, and a second appointment I had to pay out of pocket for them to say it's fine. I now had to pay again out of pocket for someone to look at the huge spot on my tooth so apology or anything so I'm done with this clinic.

8 months ago Fantastic experience: I found the number for emergency dental services and called and was told that I could have an appointment for 10 AM to reinsert a crown that had come loose and fallen out. (It had been installed 28 years ago by a different dentist) I drove to the clinic and got there at 8:30 am and didn’t even have to wait! They took me in right away and glued the crown back on and the whole thing didn’t take more than 20 minutes! It even cost less than they had estimated. Excellent service and I was totally impressed! Thank you!!
