Negative experience: I had a bad experience, given too much numbing injections. I left eye stopped working, work was on the left side. My left side of my body was spasiming.

Fantastic experience: Before becoming a patient of Dr Doug Woo (40+ years ago!), I had a serious phobia around dentists. But the care and compassion of Doug and his staff quickly evaporated that fear. When I married and had a family, we ALL became Doug's patients. My kids were never fearful and, in fact, were excited to go (and I was thankful their childhood encounters with dentists weren't as traumatic as mine!). The dental hygienists are top-notch and the clerical staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I got my appointment to see Dr Woo the next day. It was urgent. That’s very good. The dental assistant is perfect, got my X-ray , and all the prepped work done efficiently before Dr Woo came in. And Dr Woo is the best dentist as far as I know from all my previous dental works . I would like to say thank you to both of you. I am recommending Dr woo to everyone.

Positive experience: The Hygienist was super friendly, she was gentle and did a good job. The only thing that would have made it perfect was if there were a few more rinses during the cleaning. Otherwise, as usual, it was a really good experience.

Negative experience: the lady that cleaned my teeth in 2024 really damaged my nerves. i screamed in the chair and she said it was tartar build up. she used the tool on the bottom of my teeth and asked how much money i had. i will never return here. it wasnt tartar thats just how my teeth grew. she kept telling me she knew what she was doing but my nerves were so damaged after. dont tell them when the last time u were to a dentist i didnt have problems with my teeth before her cleaning. dont tell her ur routine either i would brush mostly every day but she said i didnt brush in 10 years and kept drilling when i was screaming it was so traumatic

The staff is always very accommodating with appointments being as I live 6 hours away. When I’ve had to see one of Doug’s fellow Dentists they have been great as well. Would recommend to anyone. Maybe they have a referral program?

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Associated Midtown Dental since I was a child, and I have always had great service. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming, the waiting room is pleasant with great views of the river, and every hygienist I have had has been thorough, patient with my questions, and professional. They take my concerns and questions seriously, and have helped me maintain good oral hygiene into my adult life. I would recommend them highly to anyone! P.S. - I don't know if they still do this, but when I was a kid they gave out small toys to kids who didn't have any cavities at their check-ups. My brother and I got a lot of bouncy rubber balls from these appointments, and it was definitely a highlight of our trip!

As a wheelchair user, it was a little difficult navigating around the equipment but the team was very happy to help and provide assistance to accommodate my needs. Most importantly, they took as much time as I needed to provide me with information, timelines and available options to satisfy the overwhelming concerns I had regarding the future of my dental health that may suffer as a result of my limited hand function. Negative experience: I have been seeing Dr. Woo for the past 15 years along with my 2 sons. Ever since his daughter Chloe joined the practice, each time we book with him, we get switched to seeing his her. I have voiced my concerns about being forced to see his daughter when clearly we are wanting to continue to see Dr. Woo. My son recently attended the clinic to have a loose tooth removed and once again they forced us to see Dr. Chloe Woo. The tooth was not removed and it got infected. We attended another clinic and had to pay to be seen as it our second time and my son’s tooth was finally removed. I will no never attend this office again. I dont believe its right to have a dentist who obviously doesn’t have the clientelle to be forced on us and more concerning someone whose is clearly incompetent. When I called to speak to admin, the female that answered was very rude to me and kept trying to end the call.
