Fantastic experience: Outstanding customer service! Just after arriving in Saskatoon from Halifax, I had a terrible tooth infection. I called Varsity and they saw me the same day! I needed antibiotics and a root canal. Everyone was so friendly and professional. The root canal was handled flawlessly, no pain or discomfort. I have been back once since for a cleaning. Nothing but good things to say! I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: Lovely staff and building but left absolutely gutted. I went there for the first time, for an annual check up ( I thought was covered by my student insurance). They didn't get or ask for any of my dental records. They just started from scratch which they didn't inform me they were doing and did multiple things not covered by insurance when they could have reached out and got my records and up to date x-rays from my previous dentist. Ended up with a $300 bill I can't afford for pictures of my teeth I already had. I wouldn't have gone if I didn't think it was covered. I wish they would have said something. Big blow to an already struggling uni student. Be careful

Fantastic experience: Had Mike for a dentist for the first time. Was scheduled to have a cavity filled and ended up breaking a tooth a couple days before my appointment. He fixed both problems in one appointment, explained thoroughly what he was doing and was a very nice guy. Highly recommend Varsity Dental. I have used them for years and they are always great.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t know that there was an emergency dental clinic in my area, and when I called the lovely receptionist and she gave me an appointment so quickly to be seen to deal with excruciating pain, I was very happy. The dentist Eryn Gallagher was very professional and yet with beautiful bed-side manner which made me feel very at ease and also the lady that took my x-rays. If you are nervous to go to a dentist and have an emergency or a regular service need , Varsity Dental clinic is the place to go! Thank you so much for helping me feel healthy again! Fantastic experience: Dr. Josh Marshall was AMAZING! I was in Saskatoon visiting family in August and right before an important event my permanent retainer became partially detached. I was panicking calling office after office and Varsity was the only dental office willing to take me in on a Saturday. Dr. Marshall did an excellent job presenting the options available to me and the quality of his work was so exceptional my retainer felt better than it did before! Their offices were clean and comfortable, and reception was polite and helpful with my sign in forms. If I ever have to get dental work done in Saskatoon again, I will be getting it done here!

Fantastic experience: I came here after my last dentist/dental hygienist in the city left a bunch of plaque on my teeth because they had enough time to charge me for a new patient fee/sat around filling out paperwork for 45 mins but didn’t have enough time to actually clean my teeth. Varsity dental on the other hand did a great job on my teeth, offered reasonable services without pushing anything on me, and have great evening hours for those that work. I won’t be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I phoned in the morning of July 25th with a dental emergency. I had also learned that my dentist had retired. The staff person that answered my call was very professional but also friendly. I was able to get in that day. Everyone i met there was open and friendly and the feeling in the office was very welcoming. My immediate situation was handled quickly and professionally, and future needs were dealt with that day. Insurance and future appointments were handled before i left. My overall experience was very positive and i look forward to being a long term client.

Fantastic experience: The crew at Varsity are always helpful, efficient and kind. We have seen different hygienists and very happy with our family’s care. Generally, we see Dr. Josh and appreciate his gentle and caring manner; other dentists seen in more emergent situations have also been excellent. Free parking, great location and warm space are added bonuses!

Fantastic experience: I appreciate the prompt service at Varsity Dental. My mother dropped her dental plate and cracked her plate three days before my brother’s wedding. I called and explained our situation and they said to bring the plate down and it would get delivered to the lab for repair the next morning. The following day my mother was fitted with the repaired dentures and can go to my brother’s wedding today with a smile on her face. Thank you so much to the Varsity Dental team for making mom’s day less stressful!

Fantastic experience: My wife's first time to this office. She came in to have a tooth pulled and see about dentures for the future. She is one of those persons that has a fear of dentists from her past experiences, so she was very nervous. Dr. Josh Marshall took very, very good care and was very, very gentle. He explained what he would be doing and let her make the decisions about her care. When it came time for the actual extractions she said she did not even feel the freezing needles, (4), a first for her. She says if she could give a 10 she would. Very happy. Since her first visit 5 months ago, she decided to get top dentures. He explained all that was involved. After several appointments, where impressions and moldings were made and fitted, she had the final 6 upper teeth removed and was fitted with her new dentures. Everything was done at the office, including all the steps to fabricate the dentures. She did not have to go anywhere else. She said she never felt the extractions and there was very little blood. She had one sore spot when she returned the next day which was addressed and a couple of days later she went back and Dr. Marshall did a better fitting. She is very happy with the results would recommend him to anyone who is afraid of dentists and/or needs dentures.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kelly Gallagher is the best dentist I have ever seen!!! I am 56 years old and I have been afraid of going to the dentist since I was 7. But this is changing, since I have had 2 wonderful experiences. The whole team is polite, patient, professional and truly lovely!! Outstanding!!!!!!

Yesterday, I scheduled an appointment at Varsity Dental. All the staff were incredibly patient and professional. Dr. Joshua Marshall, who attended to me, and his assistant were both extremely professional and explained every step in great detail, which put me completely at ease without any worries. From now on, I will definitely choose Varsity Dental again for any dental issues.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Kelly Gallagher my whole life. Our oldest son, who is 3 years old, just had his second appointment yesterday. The dental assistant showed him how the chair goes up and down and reclines and took the time to make him feel comfortable. Dr. Gallagher is the most patient, kind and thoughtful person. Dr. Gallagher took the extra time to include my son in the check up process. He asked him which colour gloves he should put on and showed him the light on his glasses to see in his mouth before he started. All the staff we interacted with were amazing and I can truthfully say in my 32 years of being a patient at this clinic, I’ve never had a bad experience or interaction. Hats off to the best dental clinic around! Thank you for all you do to make each visit enjoyable!

Fantastic experience: Excellent care each time ! Dental Care can be a very frightening experience for some folks , so for that reason and lots of other reasons I’m writing this review . So from booking appts to coming in to be seen on a more quicker basis it’s been my go to place for my dental care for many years in Saskatoon . From my past and current experience , your appt wait time has been minimal, the staff know your time is precious, so they do their best to get things going so your day can proceed after and go on your way! Overall my dental care has been A+ and I’ve always felt prioritized on my visits . The girls at the front are super friendly and accommodating to my needs and schedule and try their very best to make appts suited to my timeframe. My dentist Kelly Gallagher and the other dentists and hygienists over the years have been the very best and they all do their very best at their jobs , which I have learned to appreciate so much. Because of all the above I’ve got a trust built with Varsity which is a good thing nowadays ! I highly recommend Varsity Dental for so many reasons , did I mention it’s super clean and inviting?

Dr Josh has done a dental check up, as well as the first step of an implant. He is very professional and does great work. I recently had a cleaning done by Jordan.
