Negative experience: The dental lady mentioned that "My lack of parenting" is the reason my son has cavities and that I probably only feed him mcdonalds, pop and juice. The lady was also not patient with my son when he was asking questions about the tools. When I mentioned my daughter was here also getting her teeth worked on by my dentist she opened up my daughters dentist teeth chart and went "mhmm.. yup, you can just see how bad her teeth are as well" This was our first time with someone else who is not our regular dentist and it was just rude comments and hateful attitude since we walked in her little cubical. My daughter and I see our dentist dr Raja and her dental assistant. They are super nice and work well with me and my daughter who has to get work done so we will be regulars there. The answer any questions she has about the buttons on her chair and the tools and they answer and allow her to be curious, but after this visit I don't feel comfortable continuing to support a place that allows their staff to talk to people and judge them like that.

Fantastic experience: We were very impressed with our first visit to this Sutherland Dental Clinic. My 94 year old mother had broken a tooth down to the gum line, which was a very stressful situation for us. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly, caring and considerate which put her an ease immediately. Dr. Olson was wonderful-very patient, highly skilled and explained everything perfectly and that is how the extraction went. The clinic reached out afterwards to check on my mother. If you are looking for a dental team that treats seniors with dignity and expertise, this is the place.

Fantastic experience: They booked me in for the same day very quickly. The receptionists were all polite and helpful. The assistants were happy and talkative. The Dr. Explained the procedure every step of the way and kept me very calm with some breathing tips. He was quick and made it seem so easy. They waited until I was ready and took extra time afterwards to explain the aftercare. The place was clean and cozy and everyone was so patient and understanding. Definitely go there if you want a positive experience or are usually nervous at the dentist. This is the place I will return! 10/10 Thank you to the whole office for making a great experience!

Fantastic experience: If you have any anxiety when it comes to dental care I highly recommend Sutherland Dental. Dr. Bala and all the hygienists there have treated me with nothing but respect, kindness and professionalism. Appointments are always easy to book and within the week, they also direct bill (to Canada Life at least) and will always be happy to talk about your budget or amount of benefits left to get the most out of their care. I've had cleanings, fillings and 2 of my wisdom teeth out and have never experienced any dismissal of pain or discomfort.

Negative experience: Dentists in Saskatchewan are required to provide an emergency contact,( outlined by the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan) this was not the case for my care. Got a filling Friday called Saturday got Ronda AI assistant, no call back till Tuesday (Thanksgiving weekend). Had to go to another dentist to get my shoddy temporary filling fixed, would not recommend

Negative experience: I didn't intend to leave a review, but I did so because the clinic was reviewing a customer. My child's baby tooth is very loose and uncomfortable, so he wanted me to contact a dentist to have it removed. After combing through reviews on ChatGPT and Google, and learning about the professionalism and skills of the dentist on their website, I decided to bring my child here for his first tooth extraction yesterday. Of course, I'll be honest: the clinic is clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff, dentist, assistant, and other staff are all very welcoming and polite. However, I was concerned about my child's tooth extraction. During the extraction, blood began to ooze out. The dentist and assistant didn't immediately have the child bite down with cotton to stop the bleeding. Instead, they asked the child to stand up. The child stood on the ground with blood and saliva in his mouth. Due to the excessive amount of blood, he had to spit it out. I told them to stop the bleeding with cotton, and the assistant gave me cotton. I put the cotton in the area where the tooth was extracted, and the bleeding stopped. I believe that professional dentists and their assistants should pay attention to detail and understand and clearly understand each step. This made me doubt my decision before and after my experience. I believed that managing baby teeth was a simple matter. These are my experiences with my child, and I'm speaking candidly. Even though Google has many positive reviews, and even though the experience was unpleasant, I still say thank you for their work. But I really don't want my child to experience this again.

Fantastic experience: I had a dentist appointment today to have t o fractured fillings removed and filled. The dental offic called me earlier this morning advising that they were ahead of schedule so if I wished to come in early I was free to do so. I arrived at P mins early and was brought right in and Dr Huisman and her assistant got to work. They put me at ease and did a wonderful job freezing my mouth and preparing my two teeth without any pain an all. Dr Huisman filled the two teeth and I was sent on my way. I would absolutely recommend Sutherland Dental and Dr Huisman. Very professional and personal bedside manner.

We both commented on how good she was with her staff. I have already recommended her to my daughters and would not hesitate to recommend her again. Very good all around. Just had second visit - same thing very polite, professional. Would highly recommend to others Just had my 3rd and final visit - all good. Fantastic experience: From a dental perspective it is really nice to see individuals who care about the experience of sitting in a chair. They explain how the procedure is approached and details of what to expect. This allows the patient to understand and how to participate. There are no sudden surprises. Lastly, the Dentist understands preventative approaches to enhance the tooth capacity and longevity. This is a true benefit for my oral health. I have consistently taken really good care of my teeth over the years and plan to keep them in good shape for years to come! I am fortunate to have great dental practitioners. I came in really anxious about needing a root canal, especially because I live with PTSD and dental work can be very triggering for me. From the very beginning, the staff and dentist were incredibly understanding, patient, and accommodating. They took the time to explain every step of the process, checked in with me constantly, and made sure I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The procedure itself was smooth and virtually painless, and what really stood out was the level of compassion I received. Instead of feeling rushed or dismissed, I felt heard and supported. For someone like me, that makes all the difference. If you struggle with anxiety, PTSD, or just fear of the dentist in general, I highly recommend this office. They not only do excellent dental work, but they truly care about their patients as people.

Fantastic experience: I would be more than happy to share my experience at Sutherland Dental….. I always get a little suspicious when your dentist is older and better looking than me. I mean seriously!! I walk into the lobby and get met by these attractive, friendly receptionists that know my name and make me feel welcome! (Again, a little suspicious as no one remembers my name ) I am on to them though, because as I get called in and sat in my dental Hygienist chair, she actually has the oddasidy to smile at me and make a pleasant conversation whilst cleaning my teeth!! Now I know something is up because she doesn’t even browbeat me for not brushing consistently!! Ugh! The nerve!! Then to finish it all off Dr Olsen doesn’t let me leave so that I can come back and waste more time and money to book another appointment on another day!! Nonono! He tells me he wants to fix up the minor work I need doing right there and then!!! I tell you, the whole lot of them there are WAAAAAY to nice, friendly, professional and accommodating!! (Unless you’re into that kind of thing) To make a long story short; I wouldn’t go to any other Dentist other than Sutherland Dental. Fantastic experience: I have gone to Sutherland dental for 40 years!!! During this time the staff has been the absolute best. They are so skilled, kind, gentle and friendly. Dr Olson has been my dentist during this time but as he transitions into retirement the other young dentist has seen me twice and certainly carries on the wonderful service. The front staff are the best in the I city!! Highly recommend this dental office and feel very grateful to have found this office.
