Fantastic experience: Felt very at ease with my dentist appointment! Excellent dentist and team.

Positive experience: Excellent services and great staff. However, installing bollards around the parking spaces is recommended to ensure the safety of patients and employees inside.

Negative experience: Update: Like I stated in my previous review, the dentists at this clinic are excellent. They do really excellent work. They are kind and compassionate. Kamala does a good job cleaning my teeth. Unfortunately, I was recently informed by the office manager that I would be “denied service” if I did not have routine x-rays done every 1 to 2 years. At my previous dentist, they did routine x-rays every 5 years unless there was an issue. I am certainly willing to have x-rays as often as is needed when there is an issue, but every 1-2 years with no other symptoms? Really? Does that mean I should get my whole body x-rayed to check for broken bones every year? Every month? I had two restorations done at this dental clinic by 2 separate dentists in the last 2 years and they did an excellent job. I have no complaints about the dentists there at all. However, the dental hygiene experiences I have had there were unfortunately not so good. On January 8, I had my teeth cleaned by a hygienist and it was the most painful and horrible experience of my life. The word “rough” could not begin to describe how she treated my mouth. She was beyond rough, even though I hardly ever have any tartar to remove as a I have always taken really exceptional care of my teeth. She was careless and really really rough. I felt like vomiting throughout the whole process. I have had my teeth cleaned professionally on an annual basis for the past 40 years and actually used to fall asleep during the cleanings at my previous dental clinic in Saint John. This particular hygienist also condescendingly argued with me at length about the specifics of my health insurance and how I was mistaken about what the coverage entailed. Really!!!! ??? I am quite certain that I know what my health insurance covers and what it does not cover! The previous hygienists at this dental clinic were a bit better but not much.

Fantastic experience: Best Dentist I’ve ever been to! The entire office is full of good, kind, caring people. They don’t ever judge, they get you in asap and never leave patients waiting in pain for appointments. They do fillings so well, they can build 3 quarters of a tooth and have it looking as natural as if it was real. I wouldn’t recommend going to any other dentist office.

Dr. Trein and the entire team were incredible — so caring, gentle, and professional. They took the time to make her feel comfortable and created an excellent recovery plan for her. I received excellent service, especially from Nikki, one of your staff members. She was very accommodating and knowledgeable — she clearly knew what she was doing. Nikki took the time to explain the causes of my dental issues in detail and helped me understand my condition better. She was very kind and professional. Kudos to her for her excellent service and dedication to her work!

Fantastic experience: Was in for a cleaning and found the staff very nice and professional. I did find the chair quite uncomfortable which caused my back and hip to bother me for a day. If other clients are seeing this, the clinic should replace the chairs with ones which are better.

Negative experience: I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. The person that answered the phone showed zero empathy, acted like helping me and my daughter was a burden. She was dismissive when i asked questions and had no empathy for my daughter’s situation. I have been a client for years and so have my family. I nor any member of my family will return to this dental clinic!

Positive experience: This was my first visit and I was very happy with this experience. I felt that I was accepted as a special patient and my particular medical needs were accepted and treated with respect. I am happy to have FREDERICTON DENTAL CLINIC to be my new dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: At FDC, the coordination and professionalism is exemplary. Everyone is so nice and caring. Next time you have a dental problem, call FDC and they will take over your problem thereafter.

Negative experience: Fixed my teeth with braces but didn’t tell me about the hidden fee of almost $900 Until after I fully paid off my braces. I talked to multiple people, including somebody in finances and they didn’t see the hidden fee, but I’m still told that I had to pay the fees by my orthodontist. They also missed that my kid had issues with their teeth. And when I brought it up, they said that the dentist probably thought it wasn’t important thankfully I already switched dentists, and they pointed it out to me that my kid is gonna need braces in the future. I attached a photo of my kids X-ray, so you can see the issue that they missed

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Fredericton Dental Center for eight years, and to be honest, the service has been hit or miss in the past. But this last visit was by far the best experience I’ve had there. The atmosphere was noticeably better—everyone seemed to be in a good mood, and the overall energy was just more positive. I had an appointment for a cleaning and exam with Dr. Trein, and he was absolutely amazing. He was not only thorough and professional but also super friendly. I really appreciated the way he interacted with the hygienist and the assistant—there was some lighthearted banter that made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxed. It’s clear that he cares about both his team and his patients. The hygienist and assistant were also incredibly kind, as was the receptionist. I actually had a last-minute scheduling issue where my original appointment was canceled the morning of because the hygienist couldn’t make it. They first called me, and when I didn’t answer (I was at work), they followed up with a text, which I really appreciated. When I let them know I had taken a half day off and wasn’t getting paid to miss my appointment, they went out of their way to fit me in. Despite the change, everyone was still so kind and accommodating—no frustration or bad attitudes, just great service. Overall, this visit really changed my perspective on the clinic. If this is the new standard, I’m really happy to keep coming back. Huge thanks to Dr. Trein and the whole team!

I was surprised that when I arrived with a chipped tooth that they got me right in and set up an appointment for the next morning at 8:50 AM. The procedure was done without me feeling any discomfort at all. Dr. Therein is a great dentist and her assistant was very nice.

Had a tooth extraction and it took 20 minutes from the moment I walked in, to when I was back in my car. They have a huge staff that make sure people are looked after. Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I needed emergency care and they got me in the very next day (less than 24 hours) the cost was roughly $53.00 cheaper than mentioned on the phone, so that's ALWAYS a bonus in today's inflation. For the treatment plan they gave me options on how to go about fixing my tooth (root canal/pulling) the tooth, and the breakdown of the cost. Thank you so much for everything!

I had called so many places this morning searching for anyone who could glue my permanent retainer back and after being told by so many places they didn't do it or that I would have to wait until December, the most amazing voice answered the phone and got me in same day! In the past, I had to take Ativan to have any work or cleaning done on my teeth. I must say she was amazing and I do believe her name was Heather. Thank you for great experience. Dr Patel ensured I understand the entire process and pricing beforehand and throughout each step. Fantastic experience: Going to a dental center isn't always exactly exciting, it can be downright nerve racking. However, the staff at the Fredericton Dental Centre are very helpful and extremely friendly which in turn makes the whole experience less embarrassing than it could be, certainly. I went to the new patient assessment yesterday , really liked the dentist who spoke to me about my oral health. Furthermore the dental hygienist who did my cleaning was very professional and did a great job :) Looking forward to more visits here. Couldn't be happier.

Fantastic experience: I was delighted with the loving and attentive way that hygienist KAMALA treated my 6-year-old son. In addition to knowing how to deal with children very well, she proved to be a great professional. I must also highlight the professionalism of Dr MARCOS TREIN, attentive, competent and very capable.

Negative experience: I was at the Dental Center this morning for a toothache and had Dr Violette and my experience with him was not so great as in the room with him might of examined me for 20 seconds and he was rude as he asked if I bathed myself and of course I do but the nerve of him asking me that question is way out of line. While there he kept going on about topics of cleaning teeth but no what the appointment was about and the girl that was in the room with me pointed out I had a infection but he did not even bother wanted to do anything about that. I may not even come for my appointment on Wednesday

Fantastic experience: Ok hi wow. Words cannot describe just how happy I am with Fredericton Dental Centre! I have MAJOR dental anxiety and hate going to the dentist. This was my first visit in years and I am absolutely blown away with the level of professionalism, comfort, and care they take with their patients. I had quite a big cavity on one of my molars nearly right down to the nerve, but Dr. Therien and Jenna helped me feel relaxed and absolutely no pain at all. I felt like I was having a spa day for my teeth! Keep in mind, that I hated going to the dentist. These ladies, made me love my experience and now I’m looking forward to going back to them for my other fillings. I truly felt nothing for the hour long appointment. Even when I did feel even the slightest bit of sensitivity in the beginning, they immediately stopped what they were doing to make sure I was completely numb. I got to turn on the TV and watch Say Yes to the Dress while listening to an audiobook in one ear, and I was having a great time chatting (or mumbling) with the dental assistant Jenna. If you’re someone who needs work done or even just a cleaning, please don’t hesitate anymore like I did for years. Go see Dr. Therien and Jenna, they’re amazing and would love nothing more than to help you out with your discomfort! Everyone at the front desk is also so so so kind! I stand by 100% of everything I said, and will continue to talk about Fredericton Dental Centre to everyone that will hear haha

However, I was so impressed with the warm welcome and exceptional service from the reception staff to the dentist that I decided to proceed with all the necessary procedures on the spot. I'm thrilled with the outcome and have no regrets; the team at Fredericton Dental truly did a top-notch job. I look forward to returning for my remaining sessions.

Negative experience: They ordered spacers that I had asked only to order if they were covered by my insurance, which they weren’t- but they ordered them anyway and sent my bill to a collection agency when I did not pay the bill, I never got the spacers! Be very careful with them and don’t expect them to honour your wishes!!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent, friendly staff who do everything they can to look after you. Today was my first visit. I have had an infected tooth for a couple month they were not only quick to see me but responded to calls and after examining the tooth made space in a packed day to fix it later. Which they did quickly and without pain. Moved my file there to be my dentist.

Positive experience: Caring and calm environment. Great dentist. However due to mobility issues and the damaged sidewalk ramp makes it impossible for me to go back

Fantastic experience: I have terrible anxiety and Dr Emily Therin (sp?) Was wonderful! Very calming and talked me through it. The assistant who prepped me was lovely as well and talked me through it and reminded me I was doing great (low key felt my inner child fear being put at ease)!!! Overall, great experience ... fast and efficient as I didn't have insurance. Clean and spacious environment and would definitely go back for any dental work!
