Fantastic experience: The Dentists At Galway is truly a gift we discovered. Everything about this clinic was pleasant, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. They took the time to clearly explain what would be covered by insurance and what would be paid out of pocket, patiently walking us through both the small details and the bigger picture. We were given options, honest explanations, and — most importantly — they talked to us without rushing or watching the clock. The dental care itself was excellent. Every step of the process was made as comfortable as possible, and again, they listened to us and considered our opinions. The quality of the dental work was immaculate. The doctor was amazing — professional, skilled, and very kind. We truly liked him. I would also like to give a very special thank you to the dental assistant, Tatiana. She is a true professional with a caring soul. She helped my mom, who does not speak English, through the entire process with incredible patience, knowledge, and kindness. She made everything easy to understand and was an absolute joy to talk to. The entire team at this clinic works in harmony, and it truly shows. Every visit feels calm, respectful, and positive. Fantastic experience: Very professional, didn't hurt my gums like some have. The dental hygenist, a blonde lady I've forgotten the name of, explained various things to me about enamel erosion, as well as how poor bite can impact neck posture. She also explained, but didn't try to guilt me into, a device to aid in jaw misalignment, and recommended a product to reduce erosion.

Negative experience: The hygienist was absolutely lovely and made me feel very comfortable. However, when the dentist came in, I felt extremely uncomfortable after his questioning. My medical history form listed a medication I take for anxiety/depression. Despite the note I had given about experiencing dental anxiety, he asked me to explain “what kind of anxiety” I have- asking if it’s social anxiety or other. He even asked whether I’d ever been depressed to the point that I didn’t brush my teeth. These questions felt invasive and inappropriate to be asked in front of the hygienist. Instead of feeling supported, I felt shamed for having a mental health condition. Dental anxiety is already difficult to manage, and I left feeling worse instead of cared for. I truly wish the kindness and professionalism of the hygienist had been reflected by the dentist as well.

I usually have a lot of anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, but he was so kind, took the time to explain everything, and really made me feel at ease. He also worked with me to make sure I got the best option possible for my situation, which I really appreciate as a student since dental work can get expensive. Even at the front desk, the girls were so friendly and helpful. I left feeling taken care of instead of stressed, and that honestly makes all the difference. Definitely recommend!

I was a little nervous after an unsuccessful service at another clinic and immediately put to ease by Dr. M. He is experienced, pays attention and listens to you and has a nice sense of humour. When I lost my front tooth , I was devastated.the team at Dentist Galway assured me that within 6 months & most importantly before my son’s wedding I would have my smile back . It was a long process but so worth it in the end . What a beautiful team they have from my trips to port aux basques & St Johns . Staff were super friendly and I recieved my new filling with no issue. They direct billed both mine and my husband's insurance which was super convenient. Everyone from the receptionist, to the assistant, to the dentist was so lovely. They spent a lot of time with me, thoroughly explained everything, and addressed all of my concerns and put me at ease. Got to the point yesterday (Saturday) I couldn't even talk called out the girl at the front desk told me to come in right away no appointment. And the rest of the staff was super nice and helped me calm down and got the rear molder out no problem and no pain. Highly recommend this place to any and every one I know.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been going to the Dentist at Galway for close on 3 years now. My children love going here, such friendly staff. My son has ADHD and cannot sit still for any length of time and seeing the patience’s the staff has with him here is absolutely incredible. I’ve been to dentist before here and when he’d get too restless they would tell me “let’s give up today and maybe next time we’ll get him to sit”. The dentist at Galway waits for him to be ready which makes his sit MUCH more easy knowing he is able to move when he needs to. We love this dentist and always recommend this dentist to everyone ♥️
